He had no idea just how quickly his embrace would send her into unconsciousness. She was out like a light before he'd finished telling her that he'd still be there, but she knew. She slept so hard, so deep, that she did not even dream. And when she finally woke up, hours later, her head ached from the pain of returning to consciousness after being that deep down under.
