"I'll hold you to these promised sandwiches." He was fine. Or as fine as one could be after being knocked of their feet by giant maces with lethal spikes. The Fear fizzled out, wind dying away, and Largetha gave a shaky, spent laugh. But they weren't done yet. At least he wasn't. Rushing forward again, he brought his left hand around the bring one axe up at an angle, hacking at her hip. HP: 10 DMG: 3 CHG: 1/3

Paige grunted when Zeke's axe caught her at the hip, and the tall blonde staggered back a few feet before swinging her weapon and spinning around. And around. And around. She finally stopped, looking wan. "I.. I might barf. I'm really. ******** dizzy." HP: 17 DMG: CHG: 0/3

"Now how am I supposed to hit you when you're acting like you're going to throw up?" He wasn't heartless. Not completely, anyways. Axes up, he waited, ready to defend against that ridiculously huge weapon when the girl was recovered enough to wield it against him again. HP: 10 DEF: 4 CHG: 2/3

When the world finally stopped spinning, Paige took a deep breath and gave Zeke a half-smile.
"I knew you were a gentleman."

"I have my moments." He could be quite charming when he put his mind too it, though he seldom bothered. "Now that you're feeling alright again..." Both axes were transferred to one hand, and he swung the chain at her, aiming for a thigh. { Would you stop playing with the ghoul, and HURRY AND BEAT HER?!} Come on, Leggy. Where's your sense of fun?} He received an enraged snarl in response, it made him grin. "Laggy doesn't appreciate my gentlemanly behavior as much as you do." HP: 10 DMG: 2 CHG: 2/3

Paige let out an indignant screech when that chain licked across her thigh. She hoisted Harle up and swung, the more deadly end of the weapon aimed at Zeke's torso.
She might have hit kind of hard.
"s**t, s**t, sorry, you okay?"

And for the second time Zeke had all the air knock out of him. The mace hit, and the Mist bent double, biting back a wheeze as arms crossed across his torso. "Damn girl, you hit really ******** hard." Impressively hard. He was going to be sore as <********> come morning, but he had to smile. Paige was sort of a delight. Strong, vibrant, and friendly, she had a quality about her that was just all over attractive. Gingerly he straightened up again. "Laggy's whining that my shields damn near toast, so we should probably stop here." He didn't know about the dampeners yet.

"No sense in pushing s**t too far. And sometimes I can't hit a damn thing at all, so that's a thing. Sometimes I'm off, or Harle's off, and we just miss miss miss." Paige approached Zeke and lightly squeezed his shoulder with her hand, Harle returning to his totem pendant around Paige's neck. "You sure you're good? I can walk you to the infirmary if you wanna get checked out." She grinned. "I know I promised sandwiches but I got lighthouse duty in about twenty minutes. How 'bout I owe you one?"

Lagertha was returned to her pendant totem with only a small grumble of protest. She hated losing, but Zeke's willingness to finally get out and fight had a mollifying effect. It wasn't even as if he had been purposefully putting it off, there had just been other things occupying his time. Paige's squeeze to his shoulder earned her a smile, and he nodded. "I'm fine. A little bruising never hurt anyone." { You will not be bruised for long, Boil. I guarantee it.} Hazel eyes narrowed. "I suppose that'll have to be acceptable." He touched her hand where it it lay on his shoulder, soft and casual. "I will hold you to it though." He liked Paige, she was carefree and loud, and though strong as ********, there was still a certain subtle softness to her. The sort of person the man felt was worth getting to know better. "Thanks for the fight, by the way. You're kind of impressive with that morning star."
