"Good places ta smoke. Good places ta ********. The gym. Creepy hallways. The best jogging path and which person at the quartermaster is the best to ask fer s**t." She nodded. "Everything else is like boring boring boring and then minipets."

She lifted her brows. "You in?"

As far as Cee was concerned, there was no straight and narrow. Not in life and not on Deus. In the same way that some would wake a trainee and tell them about the facilities in monotone instructional video manner, others deciding to bombard them with the harsh realities of the job and stories of horsemen and mutilation and death, Cee chose the better road in her opinion. She'd teach them ways to cope - to be comfortable - to get what you wanted.

"That's my girl." Her sunglasses were slid up onto her hair, smokey framed eyes meeting pages. The aspirin hadn't kicked in yet but she was tempting fate. It was amazing she could do makeup like that with a hangover though..

She waited until the food was done, randomly pointing out facts about people in the cafeteria while Paige ate. (He always ate one single soft boiled egg and some sort of pickled fish - That girl had a super loud breakup fight during dinner last week and she doesn't know that THAT GUY is ******** her ex.. yeah she got lesbian dumped for a dude - That guy has a huge d**k she heard but hadn't been able to verify for herself yet). By the time Paige was finished Cee had drained her coffee cup and had the unlit cigarette hanging from her lips, just enjoying the tobacco taste.

"C'mon.." She took Paige's arm in hers and her purse in the other. She clung to the woman like she was a lifeline. "Outside."

"Outside first." She held to Paige's arm tightly, the limb pressed fully against her ample chest. Cee seemed to have no physical shame or qualms about touching. She also gave two shits if you had some sort of issue with it. She only loosened her grip when they arrived outside, and she struggled repeatedly to keep a match lit to light her cigarette. <********.." Three matches in and she was fighting a losing battle against the tropical breeze.

Yes. Good.

Cee puffed it alight and shook out her match. "I normally dont even smoke but.." The sunglasses slid back down over her eyes. "One'a them days." She offered it to Paige if she wanted to share the smoke.

"So yer choice.." She pointed out to sea. "Beach stuff." She pointed the other way, towards the road that led to the town. "Town stuff." And then pointed in a vast circle at buildings. "The good s**t in the buildings."

"An'en you get to dish me on yer life cause yer cute as <********> and I wanna know all of it." She grinned as the aspirin could be felt kicking in. "All the good s**t."

"School.." Cee was back on Paige's arm again, this time tangling their fingers together like they were already the best of girlfriends. "HA! I was in a couple schools cause I kept fightin. That s**t don't matter. But whoah a kid huh? Like I'm no shrink'r anything so I ain't gonna ask you how you feel about that or whatever..." Plus she seemed pretty nonchalant about it. Though she did wonder what having a baby did to the lady parts.

"Everythin's what ifs." Cee playfully slapped her arm, "I want the good stuff! The stories! Good stories, ******** man, none'a these people are story tellers. Everythin ends up ******** depressing like 24/7. Even my best broham I'm like tryin'a shoot the s**t and he starts gettin all 'oh i don't judge people oh my weird life'. I love him but ******** led them to the life labs first, pointing out the important places like computer labs and infirmaries. She had all the deets on who had the best networked folders of stuff on the servers, who had the weirdest porn and pics, and which people had stupid phone apps to download. She informed not to ******** around on the Lifer's like she'd unknowingly done, because when it came down to you being hurt you needed them on your side (those good drugs tho). Cee informed Paige just how bad she wanted to give it to Dr. H and who he was and why, even regaling her about one of her in-pod dreams where she'd met him and called him Daddy.

The last place she led Paige to in this building, was the minipets. She paused at the door and peeked in. "The closest thing we get ta pets."

"s**t no. I didn't think I'd have kids till like 30 something.. but here I am now. Never gotta ruin this hot bod." She'd released Paige's hand to drag her own down the sides of her curves with a hip thrust.

"I looove your tattoos.." She grabbed Paige's hand again, lifting the arm to run her nails lightly over the skin. "So hot. I got a couple.." Her index finger held to her lip revealed a mustache tattooed on the inside and she laughed. "Though some are a surprise." Cee winked. In leggings you just couldn't see her more scandalous tat.

"Pets.. like of the mini variety." She specified and pulled open the door to sashay inside. She went right for the foxfires because they were the most like the kind of dog she'd want to carry around in a purse. "Pets for the halloween dicks. But we keep'em ta study.."

"Awww nah ah.. lookit floofems right here." She opened the cage and pulled out a ghostly foxfire which looked at them like beady eyed little dogs did. Except this one had ghostly missing legs so it looked a bit like a pale blue cloud. "Rook at dat widdle face.."

She shook it, fluffed it, shook it at Paige, and put it back in the cage.

"Sometimes people get special permission ta like keep in special cages in'er rooms as pets but.." She wrinkled her face. "Pretty sure I'd ******** kill the thing soooo...." She spun, arms clutching behind her back which pushed her chest out just that much more.

"Dorms is stupid building though theres a couple good sneaky places.. Rarely ever go inta the main building. S'like conference rooms an's**t, maybe I shoooould though. Explore.. hmm... C'mon.." She would instead lead them out to the training fields where she pointed out the best place to sit and people watch, as well as sunbathe. She filled her in on the information about barriers that prevented them from dying, as well as her own recent infirmary trip for just that specific problem.

The training fields led to the gym and lots of faces popped up to greet Cee, apparently a regular. It had the familiar gym smell of heat and sweat and fake leather seats. She stood with her hands on her hips like she owned the place.

"This.." she looked around and whispered, "is the best place to pick people up. I'm tellin ya." Cee then appeared to suck her teeth a moment, drag her eyes over Paige, and grin. She returned to link arms with her again, crushing the woman into her breasts once more, "Sooooooooooooooooo..." it was the longest 'so' in the history of the world. "what're you into?" You know what she means. YOU KNOW.

The non-commital answer was perfectly fine with Cee. In fact she prefered it. But she rolled her eyes and groaned when Paige started telling her how she was here to work.

"Uuggghhhh.." She flopped to the side, practically throwing herself dramatically onto Paige. Cee was definitely more animated than usual but it was partly a test to see what she could get away with. "Bullllshiiit. You do git it, right? This is it."

She released herself from Paige, walked a few feet in front of her, and planted her feet with an emphatic stomping. "This..." her arms motioned to everything. "..is it. Forever. The rest of yer ******** life. This place." More waving. "If yer just here to work, yer basically saying that you will never ******** around and have fun for the rest of your existence. You ready? You ready ta die right now? Cause thats what that s**t sounds like ta me. And that's some mopey whiny garbage."
