You know, yesterday I was toying with the idea of doing a special Charity thing for Halloween where we "sell candy bars" -- people donate, we gift them candy items as gifts. Maybe we could do something like this instead? Anon trick-or-treating. We just have to pick out what Halloween treats suit what NPCs. surprised I really like the selling candy bars idea, it's really cute and reminds me of the girl scouts or a school fundraiser. 3nodding Exactly! That's what I got the idea from. I used to be in the scouts, and my school was very fond of those fundraisers. It's the first thing that comes to mind any time I hear the word "fundraise"! Makes me think of the Wing Scouts on Gaia~ now that I think about it they should partner up with Rina, she's got lots of yummy treats the scouts could sell. Makes me want to draw it. + u+ I could totally see Rina in a Wing Scout uniform! surprised That's it! I'ma draw it, no holding me back now. xd

Charismatic Loyal `Hydro B I B A X T `Hydro Oooh, those would be fun to write up. There are soo many NPCs though, how would we choose?  Shopkeepers and those featured in the active manga would be my first thought. Boo! So the Ringmaster would count as a possible anon gifter? Possibly. I only worry about confusion being caused by items from shopkeepers being mistaken for official gifting.... Boo!

Sianserais I love this idea, but I'd be afraid to try to write anything meant to sound like an established NPC... I'd be worried sick of getting it wrong. Possibly we could have a few people who are a bit more adept with words design the accompanying messages. I've done a project a bit like this but used an original character. I had the scripts but not enough people willing to help me do the event. sweatdrop I would suggest that those who do write up the scripts research old posts by the NPC. Boo!

Has anyone talked to J-Corp about what if anything they're doing for halloween? Obviously, this guild could just do its own thing, but the plot issue affects them as well, and it is their holiday...

Are we still discussing doing this? Because it sounds super cute and I've actually done a similar thing during some past events where people were posting the anon-gift notes they received and it was a whole lot of fun. I sent them from anime/marvel characters, not NPCs, but still...

We'd pick the best one or two for each NPC and have them as default copy/paste options for the people who are afraid of being out of character. That way no one person has to be the same character over and over.
There could be a count beside each NPC name that showed how many anons had been sent, so we could see like "oh, there's been twenty from Rufus sent, but only two from Devin. I'll try to send some out from him.", etc.

I'm gonna throw my input into the mix. what if a random assortment of NPCs were chosen to be "acted" and participants signed up to be randomly paired with one of them, rather than pick favorites, much like a secret Santa gift exchange. That way no-one really knows who is who ninja
