She thought quickly, wondering how much she could promise and then decided on simply sticking with what she could count on without a doubt. Damocles and Tantalus might not appreciate her volunteering them, but they'd do it. If only for the sake of the babies.
"I can offer up one," she pointed to herself, "Dark Mirror Royal to help with transporting. Possibly two, though I'd have to track him down first. And three Eternals. That's five ferries and we could get a lot moved."
She couldn't explain why she felt such a strong need to move everyone and quickly. Only knew the need existed and would consume her until she'd done something about it. Maybe she shouldn't have invoked the Tar b***h. She'd spooked herself.
When Finn spoke up, she nearly gave herself whiplash as she turned to find him in the crowd. Her face, usually so expressive, was for a moment completely blank with shock. The blankness quickly became replaced by one of calculation and maybe even touch of dawning hope. Still, when she answered, it was in the carefully contained voice of someone afraid to give voice to that hope.
"If it could be managed, it is probably our best option. It would certainly solve some of the problems with how we'd be able to protect ourselves as well as the evacuees."
They wouldn't have to send as many guards if they could evacuate to space, she thought dizzily. The kids would all be safe if they could manage this. Space would be safe.
Taking herself under firm control, she nodded to Finn.
"Consider me at your disposal for any supply runs you may need. Hells, if you think it'll help, I'll even play guinea pig," she said before turning her attention back to Ida and what she was saying. Felt a chill creeping up her spine.
"Ida, you have to convince them to start an evacuation. An orderly one at that. At least get the kids away from here! I think I can speak for pretty much every parent here who's going to be fighting when I say that it's going to be a lot easier to keep our minds on our jobs if we aren't having to worry about whether or not our kids are about to turn into youma kibble or be flame roasted by friendly fire in the middle of a skirmish."
She paused, letting those visuals take root where they would before adding in a much softer voice, "And in case anyone was wondering about where my loyalties might lie, let me tell you this. At the first chance, I'm sending my wife and kids away, yes. But I am staying here with the rest of you to fight. Live or die, I'm with you guys."
