HealingAssass1n Cody looked at the girls as they finished the batter with the chocolate chips mixed in but as he began to cook it he soon began to pour their milk for them as he set the cups at their chairs. He smiled as he soon made their plates and put their plates down, the stuff cut up for them to enjoy as he made a plate for himself. Kaori smiled as she started to eat her food. She giggled as she ate as the food made her tummy feel happy. "Daddy great cook." She said sweetly as she ate. She loved Cody's cooking since it always made her feel happy and loved. She remembered nothing about that day she was found by Cody and Sophie on their doorstep. Though she had a strong fear of storms though from that day on but didn't know why. No one told her she was adopted either. She knew she was a member of this family but had seen pictures of Sophie's mom. Whenever she asked about how she was an inu and Sophie was a neko, she never got an honest answer. She wanted to know why they were so different but she didn't give it much though that often.

Cody didn't want to lie to Kaori, he knew that he loved both her and Sophie, so he knew they were amazing sisters but he wanted her to know that he was happy to be her father. He smiled hearing what she said and Sophie agreed with Kaori as she enjoyed her food, "Im happy that you both like it, your my favorite critics." He said happily to them, he did everything he could to make sure their happy.

Kaori smiled as her tail wagged happily as Cody complimented them. As she finished up, she waited for Sophie to finish eating before she went to watch TV hoping Cody didn't have to work today since it was his birthday and all. She wanted to spend time with him and Sophie.

Cody soon finished cleaning up the mess he made but soon joined them in the living room, "So girls I took off today to spend my birthday with my two favorite girls... what would you like to do today?" He asked happily to them, he did want nothing more then to spend time with them then have them spend the day with their babysitter.

Kaori giggled and hugged Cody's leg. "It daddy's birfday so daddy choose." She said smiling as she looked up at him with her icy blue eyes looked so happy. When she first got there, she would never hug Cody's leg like she was doing now. Though you wouldn't know it around Cody, she was really shy, but she was tough when it came to some things in her life.

Cody looked at her when she hugged his leg but he smiled and sat on the couch with her and Sophia, "Well the only thing I could ask for is that you two have fun." He said but Sophia thought it over, "Um... I don't know..." She said not sure what they wanted to do as she looked at her sister.

"Me do! We go to park. Make big Picnic and pway wif daddy." Kaori said smiling as she sat with Cody and Sophie. She hoped that they would like her idea. She loved going on picnics with her family. Kaori looked over at Sophie hoping Sophie would agree with her.

Sophie smiled and nodded, gently grabbing Cody's arm, "Yeah, a big picnic please daddy!" She said thinking that it would be fun but he nodded, giving them a big smile back, "Alright then, anything special you want for the picnic?" He asked curiously to them, curious to what they would like to have to eat.

"Peanuf Buffer and Jelly Samwiches and chocolate cake pease!" Kaori said excitedly as she hugged Cody's arm hoping he'd say yes to the food. "Sophie want anyfing else?" She asked smiling excitedly at Sophie.

Cody looked at her when she said that but he smiled to them, "Fine but only small pieces of cake." He said as Sophie smiled to him but shook her head, "Um, maybe ice creme?" She asked cutely where it was chocolate cake with ice cream. He sighed slightly but smiled, "Alright, maybe chocolate cake for Kaori and Ice cream for Sophie huh?" He offered thinking it was fair.

Kaori giggled and nodded at Cody in agreement. She hugged his arm and said "Me wuv daddy and sissy." She then kissed Cody's cheek as her tail began to wag happily. It had been a while since that happened but she did love her family very much. That would never change, even if her tail wagged rarely.

Cody smiled as she giggled, seeing her tail wag, which he knew that she rarely did that. He was sure that she was happy, he knew she wasn't his but didn't know that, he just wanted her to have a happy life. Sophie smiled and agreed as she moved and hugged her dad and Kaori together, which Cody wrapped his arms around them both lovingly.

Later when it was time for the picnic, Kaori helped to carry the blanket and helped to set things up with Sophie and their father. She smiled the entire time, She then hugged Cody's leg as they all played together a bit before eating. She was a huge daddy's girl. As she ate, her tail was still wagging as she was always happy when Cody got to spend time with them. Kaori ate herself a couple sandwich slices, some chips, and some water to drink. She loved spending time with Cody and Sophie. "Me wuv daddy." She said hugging his arm with her tail wagging before she started trying to tickle him.
