Oliver had to admit the other guy's FEAR was pretty neat. Jökul even made a small rumble of agreement, which was very unusual, but the leviathan had been an ice and snow sort of creature himself before he had become a weapon. The Life trainee didn't have much time to reflect on the situation though.

"No!" He yelped, swinging the axe in a heavy sideways slash to prove his point. Well, yes he had been thinking about retreating... But he didn't want to now while he was being called out on it.

"You know how to swing that stupid thing, I'll give you that," he said, begrudging, "but you wouldn't know a fight if it bit you in the a**. Christ, it's not even worth hitting you, this is so dmg// 0

Oliver stepped forward as Leslie was pushed back, and used the momentum from his last attack to power the one that followed. It was the only way Oliver had the strength to keep that large axe in the air, letting gravity and momentum do the bulk of the work.

"Why don't you just stop then?!" He asked, the frustration clear in his tone of voice.

It just wasn't fair. How come this little s**t kept getting hits in?

"I really ******** should!" he snapped, offering a final frustrated smack (that, of course, was little more than glancing. Because, of course. Of course.) before standing down, ready to desummon his weapon.

Oliver backed off, but not quickly enough to avoid the last hit. The sparring session he had with Lex taught him how important it was to keep moving. Somehow the boy was starting to learn.

"Does that mean you are going to stop?" He asked warily, his expression sitting somewhere between kicked puppy and trapped fox. This could have been a trick, so he didn't drop his guard.
