Nobody noticed I was broken,
Upon hearing that she is rooming with the president, Chloe raises her voice due to her surprise at Kali's answer"Oh, I thought I was the only girl unfortunate enough to be roomed up with a guy! I can't believe there are co ed dorms here, i've never even had a boy at my house before!"She states.Perhaps there are other girls rooming with boys too... I hope nothing goes horribly, horribly wrong with this co ed rooming Chloe begins to think to herself. "So that means you're rooming with Luke... Conners right?" She says to Kali when the head master enters, looking for him."Have you seen him around, Kali? Or maybe he has,"turning to the red headed boy,"aren't you in the student council?"She asks her new target to befriend while he sits idly. And nobody will notice I'm gone."  *OOC* -Quotes-

Closing her book she turned around in her chair to see Chloe talking to another pink haired girl. “Wait, you’re in student council?” She directed her question to the unknown girl. “I’m treasurer, my name’s Mari. Straight/17/American/ SingleKali looked up from her group as the headmaster walked in, "Ah, uh. Luke was back at the dorms, last I saw. He might be in our room..." she answers as politely as possible. She thinks about it for a second, "I can retrieve him if you'd like!" she adds in with a soft smile. As she turns back to Chloe quickly to continue their conversation, she tries to verify that she was rooming with Luke, "Yep! I met him earlier today." she giggles a bit before adding, "He is fairly cute! I am still rather surprised I was roomed with him though...." she trails off, still in wonderment and surprise as to why she was roomed with him, but why complain, eh? it's better than no one at all. Kali turns back to Mari, "Yeah, I'm in the council. Nice to meet you!" she smiles, holding out her hand. Admiring the newer girls appearance, she determines that this girl Mari is fairly cute, as she is rather tiny looking and innocent looking. Maybe they could be good friends, eh? What’s the president like?” She asked, wondering if she’d also be rooming with someone from the council. She hadn’t been back to her dorm since she first moved in. Someone else could be there by now. She frowned as she wondered if the president would ever turn up. It didn’t look so good with him this late. What could he be up to? Did he just not have his speech ready or something? Luke walked into the room with a modest yet embarrassed smile while walking through the door and seeing new faces and familiar ones all together, as he scanned the area he immediately noticed Kali, Aaron and of course the headmaster he then set his views on a a girl with long silver hair and a black haired girl wearing glasses "Please pardon my late appearance, I got a bit lost on the way back... Still learning my way around the school" he said with a light chuckle before looking to the new faces "Pleasure to meet you, Luke Connors" he then introduced himself and faced Kali and Aaron "It's great to see you guys again" he tells them then turns to the head master "I'm ready to start my orientation speech now" he tells him in a rather serious yet confident tone

These were all things Brandy was at this very moment. She knew school meant she had to occasionally interact with people, but they still bothered her. She would have much rather be in the library reading a book than here, at orientation. Or better yet, in her dorm sewing. Being in crowds, or just around people in general, flustered her. Readjusting her glasses, the shy girl took a seat nearest the back of the room where no one was. ' I have to be here,' she reminded herself as she sat back in her seat, crossing one leg over the other. With a soft, airy sigh, she reached into her pure white purse. A creation she made herself. Everything but the shoes, sunglasses and her regular glasses were made by her. She pulled out a book from the confines of the purse. The Late Hector Kipling. She had just started the book and was eager to continue reading it. If she remembered right, and she always did; it was written by an actor and had gotten some good reviews. ✦═━┈┈━══━┈┈━══━┈┈━══━┈┈━═✦ Averi walked into the orientation with her head hung a little low. She didn't understand what was happening. Why was Kyle kissing her? Why was she hurting inside? Why did she feel like she hurt Jordan? Bringing her head up, she found Jordan. He wasn't hard to miss with him being so tall. He looked positively upset. What was she supposed to do? To say? She'd never tried to make anyone feel better before. Well, no one other than herself. That was usually pretty easy. There was so much to discover on Earth that she hadn't yet; everything brought her a sense of wonder and awe. If she were thinking about it like that, then this situation was no different! With renewed vigor, she made her way over to him. Quietly, she sat down beside him with the same regal posture as before. The way she sat made her look taller than she really was. Gripping the edge of her chair, she leaned forward a little, not looking at him. It was very possible he didn't even want her around right now with the way he looked. " When I am upset, I tend to look at the flowers this world has to offer." Crossing her legs at the ankles, she dropped her gaze to her feet, watching as they slid along the floor back and forth mindlessly. " I have a wonderful flower garden behind my home, right outside my bedroom window. When I do not feel well, I open up my window and look at them. The way they sway to the winds so carelessly. The beautiful smell they emit. All of their most wondrous colors! I have come to notice that while they are unable to do anything about it, they feel just as much pain as humans. Yet, they still live," she paused as she finally looked over to him. " You will still be alive no matter how much pain you feel Jordan." If only she could take her own advice. But hers wasn't pain, it was worry. Fear. She was afraid of her people. Roteth. Her parents.

Patingdale Jordan looked beside him when he heard a nice and was a bit surprised by her presence and more so when Kyle wasn't with her. He examined her movements. He could tell she was looking for the right words to say. After he listened he sighed "I know he's the one that kissed you. I also like flower. I know this Averi, I help people through it a lot, I am a consoler after all bit it doesn't make the pain any easier." He stroked her cheek with the outside of his fingers "Averi, do you understand why I'm upset?" He fixed his posture and looked into her eyes for even a flicker of understanding. And then was caught of guard by the new male his voice oddly familiar "do I know you from somewhere?"

For a moment she closed her eyes and leaned into his touch, a look of serenity on her face. " I am most apologetic Jordan...I do not," she whispered a reply. She let her big eyes snap open to look up at him. He still didn't know the truth. A hand came up to caress the cold stone that lay against her chest. Whatever he was feeling. Whatever was going on with them. It wasn't real. It could never be real while she lied to him. Unfortunately for him, she would continue to lie to him. To everyone. Her attention snapped to the voice the moment she heard it, instantly perking up as not to attract attention to their plight. She gave the young man a bright smile. How did he know her name? " Hello! I am doing most well thank you!" she replied with a cheerful tone and her slightly broken English. ((OOC; Sorry! More nit picking >.<))

The clear glass of her glasses reflecting the light as her head tilted upwards. So many more people! Her body began to tremble. People scared her. Boys were even worse. She didn't really know why they did. Ever since she was little they had. It wasn't that she didn't necessarily like people, they were just scary to her. She wasn't much of an extrovert, preferring to stay within the confines of the realities made by the books she read. Her parents had always thought her just a little strange for it, but were proud that she was so smart. It only became worse when they died. ' Library. I need to get out of here,' she thought in a panic as she closed her book, making sure to save the page. In the small amount of time she had made it to chapter eleven. Dropping her book into her purse, she grabbed it and hastily made her way for the exit, head down. She didn't even know where the library was, but how hard could it be to find?
