Lucas Purevelion
Ruby shook awake, her eyes staring at the blur that was the scythe sinking into the ground beside them, then looking to Alexis weary eyes looking down to her team mate. "Thank god..." Alexis exclaimed with a sigh and her back sunk down the wall slightly, loosening her grip on Ruby, knowing she was well, though just as tired as she also sunk closer to the floor with Alexis' arms. Laxion was still breathing heavily by himself, regaining his demeanour.
Laxion took the opportunity to speak first, doing his best to stay calm, as he always was. "Alexis and Laxion saved you from falling to your death... but ultimately, you were saved by none other than Lysandiel. Whom I believe you have already had the pleasure of meeting" he then looked to the faceless angel, his vibrant, almost ghostly wings that looked like light weaving in and out of itself to form would-be feathery wings.
Lysandiel spoke-up, his voice resonated from his soul and rumbled with a harmonic choir of sound coming from deep within. "You're lucky I came when I did, if not, you would have become a slave for Lucifial..." He paused for thought. Once upon a time that demon was a very wise and very trusted being, the Spirit of Wind. "That demon was once sent from the Heavens, by my brother, the High Angel of Reason, to scour the knowledge whispered in the winds. It has been a long time... " his tone became darkened with sorrow as he continued "It's regrettable I had to see him like that. He's but a single example of what we're up against.". Alexis was still exhausted, but managed to sit upright beside Ruby, she asked "That thing was an Angel?"
"Rye'wyn was the Spirit of Wind, unfortunately nothing more and nothing less, but one of the purest to have existed...". Laxion slowly came over, and was next to ask a question, "You said a name... Lysandiel, who is Lucifial?"
"He is-" Lucas began, then stopping himself, he didn't want to interrupt a High Angel of his order... of his descent... so many would want to ask an angel how the Divine came to be. Lysandiel's hood nodded, urging him to continue.
"Lucifial is one of the Greater Demons of Hell - a brother in fact - of the one that Claudia and Nyru fought in Shard. Whilst she was, and is the Maiden of Torment, Lucifial is the Lord of Betrayal. I've only ever seen depictions... he is the dark cloud in the corner of your eye, a giant, ominous being that can cause lies to manifest themselves at the back of your mind, turn you against even your most loved ones, make you betray everything that you know. I should have known"
"You are mortal, you are allowed to make mistakes, however small or big, you can always redeem yourself." Lysandiel added. "Come" the angel then resonated, "Though my brothers and sister do not allow you foot in the Heavens, we must retreat to the Summit to plan the assault I've seen you all agree too..."
