"We could meet ...there's a gas station maybe two blocks from Meadowview? We could start there, check out the school grounds and move on to Hillworth, Crystal, the University and so on. Till we find something or have had enough of running around to be tired. We can practice your vehicle surfing in the between campuses. It's really dangerous, but it does make things go a little faster to be able to navigate jumps on and off of 18 wheelers on the loop roads around the city. "

"We don't have the benefits of teleportation or walking through mirrors. And using a personal vehicle is too risky for recognition and license plate information. "

"What time would be good for you on Thursday? Naturally, if there's any need for changes we can text each other..." Thraen looked over, stoic visage stoney below more tender eyes. "I'm glad at least you feel a little better-"

"If you need anything, let me know. Truly. Mundane as a place to stay for a night even. Or Major. I don't have all the answers, but I'm happy to try to help you find them. "

"And don't be so down on yourself- a dancer is no more ridiculous a start in this as the schoolkids the Mauvian's awaken, or in my case a Sculptor. Propped up as soldiers we may have to be, but there is no shame in our beginnings."

It was getting a little heavy, maybe. "You're right though, you do look very in shape. Any time you feel like coming to pose at the studio for studies, I won't complain. "

"The one with Meadowview Track Club posters in the windows? Sure, sounds like as good a starting place as any." It was a fairly popular place with Meadowview's upperclassmen - he'd often gone there himself, until his transfer to Hillworth. Aegir nodded as Thraen spoke, listening but not as intently as he should have or he would have caught the commentary about vehicle surfing faster. "Seriously? Vehicle surfing?" The idea had quite a bit of draw, being dangerous and also an expedient means of transport. "That sounds dangerous...and awesome."

"Seven? That'd give me time to grab a bite before hand." And give him plenty of time should his session with the kids go long. It would also be getting towards deeper dark, which typically worked well for the chaos agents and monsters they were 'hunting'. "Yeah well, it's nice to know I'm not alone in all this."

Aegir folded both arms behind his head, lacing his gloved fingers behind his curls and smiling as Thraen made offer of his home or anything else he might need - brother or friend or something of both since they both bore rank and responsibility.

"Same to you, my friend." Not only could he count on his guy to welcome a guest, there was always the studio - he had a key to the office-space, which had a futon he'd crashed on himself from time to time.

The other Senshi's suggestion that he come by to model brought an amused chuckle from the curly-haired blond. "I'd be happy to - wouldn't be the first time, either. I like the idea of being made into fine art." Yes, he had an attractive body and knew it, but thankfully while he wasn't into false modesty, he wasn't into being a jerk about it either. "Just not next Thursday."

"I'm Colin, by the way." If he was going to offer to model for Thraen - let alone take him to his 'home world' at some point - it only made sense that he'd trust him with his given name. Part of it, anyway. "Easier to say than 'Aegir'."

"It is really dangerous. But so is trying to fight someone with a weapon with nothing better than your bare hands. So. Practice and training, prudence and teamwork will have to make up for the overwhelming odds. If you need a retreat, getting to a one of the streets and being practiced an getting onto passing traffic can mean a difference in beating their ability to teleport or their speed."

He didn't have a great deal of data on the ability, but he'd not yet seen it done onto a moving target. The physics of meeting moving objects might have some play into that. Maybe.

"Quenton, " Surnames were easy to come by on the department faculty page if the other man cared to go searching for it. "Aegir isn't so bad. A lot of the Asteroids named anymore get surnames from scientists, cities, countries, portmanteaus- all which can get bizarre."

"Where there any other things you specifically wanted to know about?"

"True that!" With a look his friends would have said was going to get them arrested, Aegir returned his attention to what was being said. "I'm in. I mean, it's not like I've never broken a bone doing something stupid and dangerous before. Kind of a rite of passage when you're a dancer. Usually in the foot or leg, too."

Good point about retreating too - It was a giant pain in the a** that the Negaverse seemed to either be disgustingly fast (like the Flash) and they could teleport...and Senshi had weird magic that came with the outfit and whatever other skills they'd had as civilians. "It's really hard to hit a moving target, goes both ways. But I'm convinced that vehicular-parkour is going to be my new favorite hobby." Or, you know, it could kill him. Better street-pizza trying to kick chaos in the balls than not having a potentially life-saving (a**-saving?) skill at his command.

"I think I got all the bizarre I can handle with this costume." Aegir looked down, tugged at the sheer gold wrap and rolled his eyes a bit. "I just can't wait to see what's in store for me...at least most of us get more coverage as we rank up. Seems that way, though I can honestly say I might be seeing the exceptions to the rule...if I get less, I might start wearing sweats instead."

Thraen-Quenton's question needed answer though, not more of his shenanigans. "No, I guess not. I feel like I had all these useful questions earlier but now I'm blanking completely. It's like finals, all over again. " Aegir shrugged a bit, "I think with the Primer's updates, my experiences so far...and the fact that we've got the Black Watch organizing help...kind of says everything I really need to know about where we stand."

Not the best position, really. He could imagine Castor would be irritated...maybe lasso a few dozen Youma to throw at people to wake them up, shake them up and get them a bit more interested in fighting. But hey, there was hope, right? The fact that his companion'd set the Watch up had connotations good and bad, really - it was a means of getting together and working as a team when classically they'd been largely unable to do so.

"Anyway, I should get home, do some thinking...maybe some reading." Senshi Primer, yum yum. "Oh, about modeling, just text me when, where and how you want me." They'd already decided on their next powered 'meeting', so he didn't bother with it again.

"Alright." The rest would come given time, patience, and the matters that made inspiration strike. First reconnections were often awkward, start-stop affairs, and this one had gone off rather well comparatively. Suggestions of sweats or not.

"Did you need help getting down? It's a but far to take at a single go for even powered muscles and bones, " Thraen let that hang in the air a moment before following it with more. "And thank you for contacting me. It takes a measure of bravery to reach out along cold lines of connection."

"I'm glad to know that you're alright. That you're back and willing to still be a part of this. Thank you."

Fin? Or Fin on your next?

It really had gone well, for a first meeting after a long stretch - especially considering that they hadn't precisely been friends in the first place (though Aegir would have said they were, because he was like a puppy and often considered everyone a friend - or at least ally - until they did something to prove otherwise).

He glanced down the Tower, then back at Thraen. "I'm going to take you up on the offer and avoid the whole embarrassing thing where I either break my neck or have to text you in five minutes to come rescue me." The thanks from the other senshi made him raise a brow; contacting Thraen hadn't really required much in the way of true bravery but he smile anyway.

"Hey, I'm just glad you were around to respond, y'know? Even if you hadn't been able to come talk to me, just knowing you're around...makes me feel better." He was a sappy dork and needed to quit. "So thank you too." It was awkward and kind of unwieldy, but Aegir pushed any embarrassment down in favor of a one-way ticket to the ground.

Feet on terra firma once more, he'd say his good-byes and head off towards home, barely restraining himself from whistling happily along the way.
