Ling was glad that the shield was no longer in the cursed's possession. But he didn't take time to revel in it as he swiftly drew back, turning his head to lessen the blow from the mace. His claws twitched and he lunged in to run them across his chest violently.

:: Sionn staggered back from the terrible pain that seared through his chest from the deep gouges of the Demi-God's claws... he'd fumble to one knee.. panting and in so much pain. He was a lot weaker than he thought he'd been. Glaring up at Ling, he knew he didn't have the strength left to last very much longer... So in a final effort to do the most damage that he could to a creature that was far stronger than himself, he'd jerk back his mace wielding arm and fling the weapon at Ling with what strength he had left. Not enough to lay him low, but he hoped enough to make that odd creature suffer the most that he could. ::
Ling snarled as the flung mace crashed with a sickening sound into his stitched face. His antenna snapped about as he launched himself at the wretched cursed. Aiming to finish him off with another swipe of his black claws.

:: As Ling crashed into him, it felt as if he'd been ripped wide open. His mouth opened as if he would scream but nothing came out as he'd tumble to his back, the world around him fading out quickly, like the blood running from his many wounds and filling his vision with utter black. Ling, could take Akor now, nothing more lay in his path to who, was in a way, his little sister. ::
As his obstacle fell back onto the ground Ling rose to stand tall, bearing his wounds as if they were badges. He steps over the fallen cursed guard and proceed to tear the door off the cage. He scooped up her sleeping form with his clawed hand before turning and taking off into the dark tunnels, unhindered by the earlier wing injury.
