I learned a lot from this experience, that's for sure. I know to look into a company before applying or taking them serious if they found me. And to ask, "Does this require travel?" And you're so right about all companies really being a pyramid scheme.. you are really smart, you know? smile

And you're so right about all companies really being a pyramid scheme.. you are really smart, you know? smile Aww, thank you. I'm sure we all have our wits and stupidities about us. We just have to dig deep and harness or correct them, respectively. I'm looking into a "referral" marketing company now. The difference is that you don't buy the product. You don't have to sustain some image, you just have to be a customer, like a Sam's Club member, to reap the benefits. There's an annual fee of $29, and as long as you buy the products, you can receive a check every month for having referred other people to the company. I like that because I'm not bad at word of mouth if I like something.

Ah, that sounds pretty good. I am the same way about raving about stuff I like. But I'm not good at selling stuff to people I know. I guess they are all cheapskates. xD Like my website... I have shirts ranging from $15-$22, with myself only making $1-$2.50 per shirt. A few other products scattered in. I spent months trying to get people to buy. Even when the shirt company ran sales I couldn't get anyone to buy. My shop opened up over a year ago and I have sold ONE shirt. It really irritates me because the one person who bought from me was my friend in Australia who I've never met in person. I would post and post, and kept informing people I could put anything in the entire world on a shirt for them. Hundreds of Facebook friends, my whole family on there, and one shirt sold. I know people in my family shop at the mall. Spending over $20 on a shirt like it's nothing. But they wouldn't bother supporting my store. It's really sad because I always loved my "company" Spenstuff, and no matter what angle I use nobody ever cares about it. I gave up on it a few months ago. I spent 10 years trying to get people to care about it. It upsets me because I always support my family.. buy stupid crap at their Tupperware parties or whatever else. Donate money to my aunts for their cancer walks. Nobody gives a crap about the stuff I do. *whew...* This really turned into rant. xD

But selling and marketing are two different things, believe it or not. You aren't penalized for not getting people to buy things because you bought the items and need to sell them. You're just informing people about your life. They want you to use the products yourself, replacing your Tide and Clorox and Neutrogena and Dove and Crest and Nutrigrain etc for their products. And if you like them, if you notice a life change from using them, tell people about it. Eventually, you'll tell someone who's looking for the same life change you experienced. 3nodding Referral marketing is just talking to people about your experience. Network "marketing" and sales are buying things and getting people to buy them from you.

Spenelli angels losing sleep Aww! I wish I still had pets to take care of. Unfortunately both of my cats I had when I still lived at home passed away. sad My fiancé and I have to wait until we move out of his parents' house for us to get a pet again. I'm glad you get to bring your kitty back with you! Aww, loosing a pet is so hard. I've dealt with that too. At first we thought we were looking for our own place, and a lot of apts here don't allow cats. So we were going to leave her there until we knew. But after a few weeks of being here we all realized how well we get along.. and that 3 adults in one house would make the money situation so much better. Me and my bf still don't have jobs but when we do we'll all have so much money, haha. One day his mom came in and said, "Well, you may as well bring the cat when you guys go back." I was sooo happy. That's wonderful! I'm glad she's letting you guys bring the cat back. The extra company will help, I'm sure. My one cat was always by my side whenever I was upset. I really miss having his comfort. Two of my siblings have pets and it's been hard for them to find apartments that allow animals. They would rather keep searching over giving them up, though.

Different...Very. Referral marketing is just talking to people about your experience. Network "marketing" and sales are buying things and getting people to buy them from you. Well I don't know what you would call my shop then. xD I use Spreadshirt. I make the products myself using my own designs or someone else's. If I use someone else's design they get a cut too. But there is no inventory. When people buy one, Spreadshirt makes it and sends it out. I don't get penalized for never selling anything, and it doesn't cost me a thing. But also doesn't make me anything. xD What is this company anyway? I would probably never make any money with it but I'm curious.

Yeah, I miss her getting in bed with me or sitting on my lap when I'm on the computer. The dog is lonely without her too. It's really stupid to me apts don't allow pets. Even if they have a huge pet fee, that's better than not allowing them. I understand not wanting to have viscous or loud animals, but that's a case by case thing in my opinion. And if your dog barks at all hours they could evict you. I've moved around a lot and met a lot of different landlords, and I feel like if I had the money to do it I would be the perfect landlord. They all act like it's so hard to evict someone so they have to get the perfect tenants. Well in some states it can be hard but it's not impossible in any way. So many don't seem to get that they own the property. If you can't get someone to move out, take all the doors. Harass the piss out of them. Come over 3 times a day telling them to leave. xD My last landlord was a joke. He had people who hadn't payed rent in 6 months and he just let them mooch. Tons of pitbulls in the complex even though they are an illegal breed in that state. His son used to be the bully when he had to be, but he gave up on helping finally. I remember once he had the police come over and batter ram someones front door open. xD Now he had the guts to be a good landlord. Gotta be tough on the moochers and nice to the ones who pay and follow the rules.

Gotta be tough on the moochers and nice to the ones who pay and follow the rules. My brother has a husky and they are considered to be a 'dangerous breed' but she's one of the sweetest dogs around. She's not scary at all! The worst part about her is that once you scratch her butt, she'll just stand by you the whole time wanting more scratches. xD I love her to death, she's so cute. I can't imagine my brother's landlord being strict with them having her. She's barely out of the house unless it's in the morning to take a walk or to go to the bathroom. Like you said, if the animal is terrorizing others then I can understand eviction. Until that happens, don't say 'no pets'. I would take the time to clean an apartment that previously had an animal in it over telling someone they couldn't live there.

Aw, I love huskies! They are so adorable. I've never heard of a vicious one. That's silly. There was a guy living on our old street who walked his with no leash.. it didn't bother anyone.

I visited my cousins today and got to pet their dog Akira. I love dogs. She would go crazy when I scratched and petted toward her tail. Flopping on the ground, making figure 8s. Sliding up under my leg. lol heart

I went to chakra yoga yesterday and we were instryucted to shout to the world, "I love you, [your name]! It feels so good loving you!" It was funny to do but it felt good at the same time for being able to say it aloud, hear, feel it. How often do you see people shouting their love these days?

No one ever does that enough gonk Whether it's public display of affection for the person next to you or just putting your hands on your own hips and stating loud and proud that you love yourself from head to toe. I wish people were more open confused
