Food? Food. Frost had basically taken to wandering and visiting a bucnh of booths before he had to go report to his. "HiNahm." He siad, bowing his head before looking at his companion. A sniff of the air, a confused look, the ghost didn't ask, rather he just picked a lolly. The yellow dot he sniffed at that too, wondering if it signaled banana flavor. "Is it banana flavor?" Since he was already here, he decided to grab another lollipop. Maybe it was selfish, but one lollipop was not going to suffice for a growing boil! Yeah ... that was it.

Since it seemed to be okay, Frost took a second lollypop. This time it had a red dodt. Did that mean cherry? Ears flicking he just looked at the boil in rags and robes again.

Picking up a lollipop, Uru glares at it as if it had somehow offended him. Turning it, he noted the red dot on it. "What's this suppose to mean?" He questioned before looking over the shoulder of the students to the booth's prize pool. "I... won?"

Those lolli's sure do look yummy, and you could win a prize if you pulled one out with a colored dot huh? Seemed like it could be easy enough. Plus, either way you got the lolli, that was prize enough for Lori today after all she'd been through at that other booth.
Oh well, no prize today. But at least she made off with a Lolli and gave an "I'll be back tomorrow!" to the lolli makers.

Pulling a lollipop out, Mayaa stared curiously at the yellow dot until she heard a happy trill (a fellow harpy??!), and looked down at the prize bag she was given.

Quillan LOVED candy! He took a gumball being offered on the table and chewed on it as he tried to decide which lollipop to pick from the stand. Finally he picked one, which had a white handle. He thanked them for the lollipop and the gumball and went on his way.

Candy was candy. He hadn't won anything the day before but that didn't matter. Shiki bounced back to the booth and went for another lolly. "Mmmm..."
It was just a white stick, and the kiss was headed his way. "Uh... n-no..." Eeeek, too close! Shiki rushed away.

Lusine was mostly unfamiliar with candy, but she knew she'd never seen things like these lollies growing on trees in her forest. She carefully plucked one from the tree and turned it around. Taking a cue from the other booth-goers, she covertly looked at the bottom of the lolly stick, it was white like the rest. Oh well, no prize. She pocketed the candy and continued on her way.

Merry was having quite a good time siting on the edge of the table, watching folks come and go with candy or prizes. It was a fun gig, and she and Nahm had managed to procure an insane amount of sweets. Mostly, she reasoned, because she assumed they'd been eating a lot of it themselves. Oops. There was a small pile of sugar covered gumdrops resting on Merry's skirt, and she was eating them slowly, one at a time, as students and guests came up to try their luck at the Lolli tree. The appearance of a rather pretty boil with long dark hair had her pausing, and she blinked at him as he came up to greet Nahm. Not someone the Chimera was familiar with, she sat quietly and smiled, though it grew into a very bright grin as the llyr complimented her. "Thank you!" She even gave her wings a little stretch, showing them off for the boil. It took a little bit, but eventually they did get their first winner, and more followed. Merry finished off her gumdrops quickly so she could start handing out tickets to those with the colored dots at the end of their lolli sticks. Conirmations!

"Llyr! Hey, gorgeous! Enjoying the carnival?" Nahm winked at the scaled boil and ogled him shamelessly when he came by to pick out a lollipop and compliment them both. Some of the visitors seemed a little unnerved by him; he grinned impartially at everyone, friendly yet toothy. "Enjoy the carnival," he called after the ghoul in the black cloak as she ran away, chuckling scratchily. "Nah, yellow's probably snot," he replied cheerfully to Frost. [placemark day 2]

Another long stretch of carnival, another need for sweets. Adelaide returned to the booth manned by the pretty ghoul and toothy boil, selecting a blue lollipop this time. White handle again! She still felt like a winner, popping the sweet into her mouth. "Thank you!" she chirped, about to leave but looking a bit stricken as Merry suddenly kissed her cheek. The Nightmare stared unblinkingly at the Chimera in rampant confusion before offering a lop-sided smile, not at all sure what that was about, but hey. She wasn't going to melt.
