Coming across yet another booth that piqued his interest, Helki stopped to observe those that were trying their hands on the game for a bit. This seemed like something that he could get into and possibly walk away with some prizes to boot. Glancing down at his watch to see if it was nearly time for him to meet Zaire yet, he decided that there was still time aplenty for him to give this game a shot, getting quickly into the line that had already formed to wait for his turn.
When it was finally his turn, he picked up the device but accidentally dropped it before he was actually ready, thereby resulting in a total miss.

One try down. He still had plenty more to go before he had to queue up again to get another attempt. Helki told himself that repeatedly, focusing on one that was higher up on the board this time and actually scoring a direct hit. Woo hoo!

Alright. Maybe he ought to aim for one of those poofs that were located lower on the board instead.
It was with that thought in mind that Helki swung at the poof that was located in the fourth row, only to hit the spot to its right this time.

Feeling a little disheartened at his lacklustre attempts so far, Helki took a swat at the poofs that were lined up on the last row this time, cheering up a little when he finally managed to score his second poof.

Sal was immensely curious about the carnival boothes. As far back as she could remember, the Slaadi had never really done anything like this. Well, nothing like this that people were able to walk away from. As she neared the first booth, she paused. Hit tiny poofy things? Sure, why not.
Taking the small hammer, she struck randomly and managed to bonk one of the poofs on the head. Giggling a little, she decided she liked this game.

Taking up the hammer again, Sal aimed for a poof, but missed as it saw her coming and ducked back down to safety. Pouting slightly (after all, she hadn't been planning on hitting it that hard) she took a step back to study that board. She had plenty more tries. She wanted to make them count.

And she was back to missing as poofs popped up just beside the place where she was hitting. Still, this was kind of fun. Not quite the level of chaos she really enjoyed, but just enough to produce a mild feeling of contentment.
She was pretty sure her family would have eaten every poof in the game by now had they been here though.
