Aedan loved carnivals. The sights, the smells...the games. It was a pity, in his opinion, that there weren't more of them throughout the year. Making his way through the crowds already starting to mill about, he made his way toward Nolan's booth. A match game, hmm?

After thinking for a few moments, he made his choices, indicating the cards numbered 7 and 35.

Annoyed he had to track the other boil down Zaire was scowling by the time he found Helki. "..What happened to waiting..?" He asked in a low growl, as he paused to watch the other boil play at the booth. Gaze trailing from Helki's back he pocketed his hands before looking over the game. It looked kind of fun he had to admit.

Getting in line for the booth he decided to play, Helki could be the one waiting on him now. After looking over the instructions he pointed up for the number 1 and 36 tiles. Done with his guesses he turned back to Helki with an expectant look, apology not really what he was wanting more of instructions on where they were going next or he'd just curl up and sleep under the booth.

Lock wasn't particularly in the carnival spirit (loud noises, jolly people, people yelling at him to come play their game), but he did like a good puzzle every once in a while. Plus he had heard of this "Noland" person from Shun, which made it worth investigating for a moment or two.

He was lazy, so he picked two numbers at random, 9 and 20. Was this how the game worked?

Shiki timidly stepped toward the booth his ears flicking slightly and tails twitching in agitation. So many people all over the place, and the one running the booth.. He had never seen anyone like it before. He hadn't been enrolled yet, but this was where his father said he was going to be ending up like it or not.

Looking at the cards on the table he closed his eyes and just jabbed his fingers toward two. "Uh.. 3 and....8?" Oh he hoped he had done that right.

Numbers: 18 and 4

The Carnival had started, especially if the loud crowd coming from outside the window and the fireworks signalling the start, and the music playing throughout the day wasn't a good indicator, Uru found himself wandering down the booths. It was reminiscent of the other festivals, especially ones where he wasn't a student but a guest. He even picked up that there were some guests here as well. Originally, he didn't want to put himself among the crowd, but if guests were here... was there a possibility that Brenna would also be present? It was a chance; if she had the opportunity to see him again after so long, she'd grasp it. If she did, it would be wise for him to be out and about, present for her to find him. Can't exactly do that when you're cooped up in a room.

He came to No Face's booth with a number board. Taking a moment to read over the directions, he chose his two numbers; "4 and 18." He spoke, his voice deep and timber. He'd have to check back later to see if he had one. He glanced at the masks that were displayed and the option to carry one around. The demon decided to pass on the opportunity for the day.

The carnival was already a little crowded - so many garish people, so little plants. While Hollandaise's face was not particularly mobile, she felt it curve into a frown. Rumbling a little, she approached what was possibly one of the more aesthetically pleasing booths, although none of them could ever be called beautiful.

Pointing to two tiles - numbers 16 & 17 - she blinked up at Noland. Ah, nothing was lovely here. "These ones, I think," she said in a slow, creaking voice. With one slim finger, she traced the edges of one of the plain masks. It was a cold, dead thing, but maybe she could make it beautiful, although it would never be more than a mask.

"1 and 20 please."

It was kind of late but Shiki felt better in the dark anyway. He made a point of getting to the booth while others were still away so he could make a fast break for it.
