Hal was a bit dazed, and incredibly turned on, by the kiss and was grateful Allistair gave him a moment to get his brain going again before he spoke. Then he said the sweetest words Hal had never heard before now and drew more tears from him.

The only response he could give at that point was to bury his face in Allistair's neck and hug him tightly for a long moment before he could say anything, "No one has ever said that to me before," he admitted in an even softer whisper, his voice tight with emotion.

But that whispered statement probably said more about him than even he knew it revealed.

When he could look at him without being a blubbering idiot, he pulled back and gave his lips a very tender kiss, "No matter what... I will always love you..." he added in that soft whisper against Allistair's lips then kissed him again after giving what was probably a rash statement. But he meant it, every word of it.

The suggestion made Hal pause and look down at the leather he was wearing, knowing that bad things would happen to it if he got it wet. That meant he'd have to take it off to get in the water. He also had one other slight problem but felt he could handle that one.

But the suggestion was something that distracted him from the emotional roller coaster.

So he smiled and blushed a bit, "I'll have to get out of this leather for it, but I'm game," he said simply and lead the way back to the blanket where he could leave the leather without worrying about it.

Once there, he proved that taking off leather took a bit of talent. But he finally managed it and gave Allistair a brief kiss before he ran for the water, making sure to stay in the shallow end since he'd never learned to swim.

Hal froze in total fear as he heard that shout and instantly lowered his head as Ran approached. In that moment, he knew their picnic was over.

So he silently moved out of the water to the picnic blanket and worked at getting the leather outfit back on over his wet skin. It took quite a bit of work but he managed it. Then he packed the meal into the basket, folded the blanket, then laid that on top of the basket.

He kept his head down as he moved over to Allistair, "I'll return to the Pillow Room, Master," he said softly and simply and started walking away with the basket in hand. As he left, his moving through it dispelled the barrier. When he passed Ren, he paused and gave her a deep bow as he waited for her to pass him on her way to Allistair, then continued on his way.

Admittedly, he was still slightly inebriated from the wine, but he was steady enough on his feet to get back safely.

Besides, he knew all too well that when Ren was in this kind of mood that 'distractions' usually wound up bleeding. And a slave was an obvious distraction. So he left to make it easier for Allistair to get to his work.

Ren just gave Hal a look before she walked up to Allistair. "lily has ran off for she has found a photo of her and her sister in your tent. Now she thinks I have lied to her and she could be any where" she said, "not only that Alice is missing."

Tracking a scent wasn't hard for Dev as he ran to find Allistair. As he ran into the swimming area, he was actually relieved to see his master with Ren and skidded to a halt beside them both. He shifted to his human form so fast that it left him breathless for a second, "Master... A guard... with Hal... Not good... Please help..." he gasped out, hoping that he wouldn't need to say anything else since nothing had actually happened when he'd left...

But he was absolutely certain that Hal was going to get hurt on this one...

Ren could not help but start swearing for he was not having a good night at all. First lily, then Alice and now all this junk was pissing her off. If some people where not careful she was going to lop some heads off. Tapping her sharp nails agianst her side she head out to go to her tent to cool off. ((exit))

This was Ren's second time down her looking for some one. Really when was the last time she got to relax and have time to her self. Getting down she looked around and saw the clothes but no one was there or at lest that was what she saw. "Menoetius some slaves said you where down here where are you I need to have a chat with you" she said going to take her boots off and sit by the waters edge.
