The slave gave a gurgle as one of the blades hit one of his lungs, now unable to cry out from the pain but still among the living for the moment. As Lily appeared and started to heal her, Esabel shied away from the touch and the light, whimpering in pain. After a few moments, though, it began to have some effect. Enough that she was able to open her eyes to see Lily and Morrigan both above her. She still couldn't hear too clearly, the sound of her blood moving through her head was still too loud, "Lily... Esabel's sorry... Whatever I did to make you not like me, I'm sorry... I'll do better... I promise... Just like me again..." she whispered softly as her bloody tears began to move down her face again. The slave made another attempt to speak, though it wasn't easy, "No... No anti... dote... He said... he said only... his blood... would stop it..." he managed to get out and gave a demented grin as he tried to laugh again. Then he shifted his body as if he knew what he was doing, making one of the blades in him shift just enough to nick one of his arteries, allowing him to finish dying before they could get any more information out of him.

Morrigan Morrigan pulled all of the knives out of the slave. She dropped them all and scowled. She started looking around for something that could be helpful. She searched everywhere and eventually found the book Volug had brought back from Goh's castle. She opened it and started to look through it.
Lily Lily stood up and moved to the slave for a moment. "You don't get to die yet," she said. "You don't deserve that mercy." Her light washed over him, healing his wounds and preventing his from dying. She knelt down and picked up one of the knives. She cut him again, in a way that would bleed very slowly. Then she used her light to damage his system so that his wound wouldn't stop bleeding. He would bleed out very slowly, one drop at a time, over a period of several days. She knelt back down and started trying to heal Esabel again. She couldn't heal her completely without Goh's blood, but she could buy more time. "I never stopped liking you, Essy. I was just so mad at mom, and I took it out on you. I'm sorry. I love you, Essy. You're my big sister."

The slave gave a gasp as he was healed then cried out in mental agony at what she'd done to him then glared at her, "None of it matters... That freak will die. She's not even a real person. She's a mistake," he continued on like that for a while and likely would continue to do so unless he was gagged. Esabel gave a weak smile, barely able to hear the words Lily spoke to her and tried to move her head into her lap, "Esabel never had a sister before you... No mom or dad until Renny and Daddy-Gin... Just Master... An' he wanted to make Esabel go away... Said me messed up when he made me... that he needed to fix his mistake... clean up his mess... Said Ilea was better than Esabel... Prettier too..." she rambled a bit more along that vein, though it was getting harder to understand her. But it all boiled down to the fact that she'd never had a family and had always wanted one, that she'd actually heard Goh say those things to her. That she was nothing more than a mistake he'd made that needed to be corrected, a failed experiment that needed to be put out of its misery, that he had someone else better than she was to replace her. There, on the last page of the book Morrigan had found, was the note on what he'd done to her and the only way to heal her of the poison. But it stated that he'd likely be dead by the time the poison got to her, so he assumed that she would simply die. He assumed that no one would find the jar of his blood hidden within his rooms, that Volug wasn't intelligent enough to find it. Though he referred to Volug simply as Gin's 'toy' or 'creation' instead of an actual person. He also stated that the poison was a catalyst that would slowly drain off Esabel's powers and pass it all on to him. That he spoke of it happening after his death might have been worrying if they didn't have such a limited time to get to the blood to save her. He said it would happen within a matter of a few hours... "Esabel always wanted a sister... someone to play with... who would love me... not wanna change me... or fix me... Never had a family... or a friend... Esabel's tired, Lily... Can you sing a pretty song for me?... Like I heard others sing?... They always sound so nice..." she continued then asked for a lullaby, something she'd only ever heard others sing for their children but never for herself...

Morrigan Morrigan quickly walked back to Lily and handed her the book. "I think I can get us there," she said. She nodded at Lily's respone. "Agreed. We wouldn't want to fall into any traps. If you'll give me a minute, I'll teleport us there. I just need to gather my energy for it."
Lily Lily stroked Esabel's cheek. "You have a family now, Essy," she said. "And I'm going to make sure that you survive for your family. So no, I won't sing you a lullaby yet. Not until I'm sure that you'll be alright." She took the book and read through it quickly. "Then let's go. But we should be careful. Who knows what sort of traps he left behind?" She looked back down and kissed Esabel's forehead. "Don't worry, Essy. We'll make you all better. And then we can play one of your games. How does that sound?"

Esabel gave a small happy sound as Lily kissed her forehead then a small sleepy giggle, "You an' me an' Morrigan can all play together like three sisters an' bes' frien's" she said in a sing-song-ish voice that showed she was getting a bit loopy by now. "Car'ful o' Master... He gots traps... Lots an' lots o' traps... All over the place... Traps that're nasty, traps that're soft, traps that'll make ya bleed, traps that'll make ya scream... So go ready ta get trapped, cause it's the only way in..." she continued with something that sounded more like a song she'd been taught. Only that one was actually useful to hear. She was basically warning them that the place would be booby-trapped and to be prepared for it.

The air rippled suddenly with heat, the faint smell of cloves and sulfur preceding the brief burst of black flames that quickly receded to reveal a fairly young-looking demon with pale skin and hair, dressed in black, a sabre in an ornate black scabbard with what looked like briars stamped into it in silver. His eyes were slightly puffy, as if he had just stopped crying. But it only emphasized his desperation to get help, he was dead meat alone, and then Ilea may never have a chance. For a beat of silence, his dark eyes flickered onto each face in the room until they finally settled on a specific dark-haired woman who was more of a child. Mentally at least. Relief broke over his face, the guard he had nearly eviscerated to get directions to this room was correct. He swallowed a lump in his throat, now or never. "Esabel, you don't know me, but I'm your sister Ilea's..." What was he? Master? Lover? Boyfriend? He really didn't know what to say except for "I'm hers. Completely. But Goh, he's back. He took her, and... I can't get her back alone. I'm begging you, help me bring her home." He bent deeply at the waist, his chest now parallel to the ground. Malphas had never done this for anyone, but he was willing to do anything to get his Ilea back. He straightened himself back up. "I know the layout of the place, and where a few of the defenses are, and as good as I am with a sword I know I'm hilariously out-gunned. I... I don't have anyone else I know I can turn to except for you. Please, anything in my power, it's yours. Just help me take back Ilea." His voice was pleading, hopefully none of the people here would attack him... Then he might never see her again, and that was worse than death.

Before the girls could speak, Esabel gave a weak giggle as Malphas appeared, barely able to hear him. But as he spoke, a little bit of what he said managed to get through to her and made her giggle again as she turned to Lily with a weak grin. "Lily... Lily, Ilea's got a boyfriend... Master's not gonna be happy 'bout that... Ilea and What's-his-name, sittin' in a tree... K-i-s-s-i-n-g..." she went into that old rhyme as her voice faded in and out a bit. Yeah, she was nuts. But she found humor in the strangest things. Of course, her humor might have been better received if she weren't laying on the floor of her 'playroom' with her head in Lily's lap and her skin starting to go even paler as the poison slowly worked on her. Her little rhyme was interrupted by a small grunt of pain as she shifted to curl up around herself, "Lily... My tummy hurts now..." she whimpered softly, making it very clear that hurrying would be a good thing.

Lily Lily and Morrigan examined the man who entered. "Esabel isn't in any condition to help you," Lily said. "She was poisoned. She's dying. But you showed up at a convenient time. You happen to be going to the same place we are. We need his blood to save her, and we'll definitely do better with some help. So if you agree to help us save Esabel, we'll help you save Ilea. Is that acceptable?"

Malphas watched Ilea's sister with a strange of surreality, it was one thing to catch glimpses of her through Ilea's memories, it was another to experience the madness himself. The slightly disjointed rhyme did make him smile a bit, they did after all do just that (and more) in a tree house. It didn't take much brain power to see that something was physically wrong with her. Esabel looked sick. Worry scribbled across his face as one of the people he didn't know explained that Esabel was poisoned, and dying. She had hardly finished when Malphas said "Yes." He turned around to face a wall, and pressed his hand against it. Black flames bloomed around his arm, flowing to the wall, the flames began to burn, but technically not the wall. A hole about the size of a door appeared, a forest on the other side. "Let's go. That poison won't stop eating away at her if we decided to take our time. The castle is just through the trees. " He turned back to the others and gestured for them to go through "Ladies first."

Lily Lily watched as Malphas created the hole in the wall. "Nice trick," she said. She picked up Esabel and walked over to the wall. Morrigan followed and handed a knife to Lily, thinking that it would be better if Lily had some sort of weapon with her. She didn't fully trust Malphas, but she knew that they needed all the help they could get. Lily took a deep breath. "Let's go." She stepped through the hole, with Morrigan following closely behind. Malphas remained silent as the other two picked up Ilea and stepped through the portal, giving the room once last glace before stepping through, the hole closing in a flash of black flames. [Exit]

Lily and Morrigan Morrigan and Lily laughed a bit as Esabel pulled them back into her room through the portal. Lily looked around and then turned to Esabel as Morrigan used her telekinesis to straighten up the room a bit. "So what do you want to do now, Essy?" Lily asked. She had a glow around her. Even after using so much light to destroy Goh and heal Ilea, she still had a lot that was trying to get out. She had gathered up so much of her own and then siphoned some from Lucy through the bond that was now severed permanently. She was fine, but she would have that glow for a while.

Esabel hugged Lily and Morrigan both to her, "We can play now! Just like Esabel said!" she said happily. She was more than happy right now. She had her sister back and she had a new friend in Morrigan. Goh was gone for good and Ilea had shown her how to control her abilities a bit more. She would always be chaotic and unpredictable, but at least she could control her portals now. Of course, she'd been very out of it when it had been revealed that the slave against the wall had been the catalyst to poison her. All she knew in this moment was that he was still alive and, therefore, still available for 'playing' with...

Lily and Morrigan Morrigan blushed again as Esabel hugged her. She was still worked up after the kiss. She stepped away, still blushing. "Actually, there's something else I have to go do," she said. "But I'll be back soon. The two of you can play without me until I get back." Lily checked the slave, making sure that Esabel wouldn't end up poisoned again. When she was sure that it was fine, she healed the wound she'd given him and then turned to Esabel. "Essy, I'm going to walk Morrigan where she's going and see if there's anything I can find to make our game more fun. Do you need me to pick up anything?"

Esabel looked at the slave then everything she had to work with and came up with the one thing she didn't have, "A gag. Esabel doesn't have one of them and he looks like he'll talk more than scream. Check with them pleasure slaves. Esabel's sure they'll have a good one," she finally decided and turned to look the slave over a bit more. She absently waved a hand to the two of them, "You go on, Esabel'll get him ready while you're gone," she said simply as she tilted her head one way then another as she looked the man over, trying to decide the best game to play.
