☽A Kingdom by the Sea☾ ➳We went down and out of the mountains today. It was sooo hot and ugly in the Mar-low. Except for uncle Cas and Lith's house. So much water! Someone mooed at us as we passed town. I don't think they liked us.

☽Dead Man's Blood☾ ➳A bunch of orderites attacked our home. I've heard daddy refer to them as birds before and he's said they're no good. Aty snuck out and something scared him. I'm not sure what, though. All I know is that momma and daddy protected us and those bad people won't try to hurt us again.

☽Ghost of Winters Past☾ ➳Daddy was gone for a really long time. Momma seemed sad at times. We made cookies one night and while we sat and waited for them to cool, momma talked to us about magic. Daddy came home, finally, that night. I was so happy to see him! And he had dragon orbs.

☽A Hired Killer's Guide to Combat Training Seven-Year-Olds☾ ➳We practiced with the bow today. It's become one of my favorite weapons to use aside from magic. I wish Father would be easier on Ataya. He really doesn't like the physical aspect of weapons and much prefers spells over blades. He catches on quicker to them as well. I wish I could master them as easily as he seems to.
