The tackle was successful, but Mariemaia paid a price for it in the form of practically running herself into the twin scythes. By now really angry at allowing herself to be cut up so, she focused intently on the downed pockettu beneath her and stabbed with her pointy fingers at any flesh she could see.

:: She'd find herself trapped under the cursed... her body shifting from side to side, trying to avoid those vicious claws of hers. Sweat covered her face under the mask as she gasped in for breath. She couldn't breathe and she felt faint and sick... so close to her... she had to get her away! Lifting her feet she'd try to kick the General with both in the gut and make that floating body of hers fly off of her, slashing at her with her scythes and hoping to get back to her feet. ::

Mariemaia grinned ferally as she saw the other's movements, retreating now instead of attacking. She could feel the battle reaching its end, and while she was struggling to maintain her strength herself, she felt she would still emerge the victor. The kick glanced harmlessly off of her stomach even as the ever-biting scythe tore yet another hole in her garment and gave her what she amounted to a papercut, she tried to intensify her fingered stabbing, wishing to make a swift end of it. :: As the claws dug deep, blue eyes flared wide... her body convulsed and her hands spasmed, dropping the scythes to the ground. Eyes rolling to whites before they would flutter closed, laying there under the General now, like a broken doll. ::
