Oliver grinned. "I will regret the actions in my life that led up to this misunderstanding until the day I die," he responded in kind. But he gave the 3DS consoles another good look before they left the store. "I think I would get one if I weren't so busy... Finn has been taking me out jogging. A-and I've been doing a lot of training, it's really exhausting but at least I won't die as easily..."

The Life trainee suddenly seemed a little embarrassed, his smile sheepish. "I never really thought I would live this long. Not having extra things meant my room would be easier to clean up, you know?"

Oliver pushed them back, gently but decisively. His cheeks were red, but he still managed a weak smile. "That's, uh, why I c-can't take that now. Everyone has been making me practice, and go running, and strength training and stuff. Um... Last week I fell slept with my coat on... twice... By accident."

He sheepishly scratched the back of his neck. "I-if I had that all to myself, I'd never get stronger." It was embarrassing to admit to what lengths he had been pushed, because he felt like there was not much to show for his efforts except sore muscles and naps at lunch.
