Ramiel couldn't help but agree with both Drifa and Phasianidae, when they put it like that there really wasn't any way that he could argue with it. If the Oneiroi wanted him to learn how to parent a foal then he would just have to man up and see it through. He supposed that there were worse things that one could be tested for but that didn't mean it would always be easy.
"I suppose the two of your are right." He told the mares, offering Drifa a warm look at her encouraging nudge and even glancing at the dream foal when it spoke, it just seemed meant to be. "I suppose we should make ready for an addition ceremony in the festival then. Is there anything I will need?" He asked, although he had seen the guardian ceremony several times he had never been a part of one..and so had no idea what he might have to do to prepare for it properly.
Drifa was ecstatic, not only because the Oneiroi had seen fit to bless them with such a gift this early in the season but also because she was looking forward to watching Ramiel flounder about as he tried to get used to the idea of being a parent. It wasn't often that the capable stallion was caught off guard and Drifa took some joy in prodding him when she got the chance - all in good nature of course, she would never do anything that might be consider malicious, it just wasn't in her nature..but innocent fun? That was right up her alley.
As Ramiel asked his question Drifa flicked her ears in thought. "Phasianidae will see to the dream foals preparation of course...but you will need to be cleansed Ramiel, one should not enter into such an important new role in life while carrying about the dirt and grime of before. MY brethren and I will ensure you are given the proper herbs, it is a fairly simple ritual." She assured the stallion not wanting him to stress over this tiny detail.

She had no doubt in her mind that Ramiel would agree. All signs pointed to the fact that the foal was meant for him, that the Oneiroi had sent him out to the pass when the foal had first arrived. To deny that would only anger the Oneiroi, and though the stallion hadn't been keen on the idea right away he had accepted in the end and that would make them all happy. She waited as Drifa explained what he would need to do before the ceremony would happen. My but the herd would be busy what with two ceremonies about to happen now, and with the newly opened pass still to watch over closely. But Phasianidae had faith in her herd and knew they would managed to pull it off without issue.
"Yes," she said once Drifa was done. "Until the ceremony is complete I will care for the Dream foal and ensure he is prepared properly for his part of the ceremony." She looked at the Dream foal then and gave him a reassuring smile. "Then after that he will be in your care." She said turning back to Ramiel.
Freyr listed closely to the conversation. Though he couldn't really add much to it, since only Phasianidae could talk to him and he wanted to hear what was being said, he focused his full attention on it. There wasn't much said but he wanted to know it all. At first the idea of having Phasianidae look after him for a while was not what he wanted, but he reminded himself that until he was made real only she could talk to him and if he needed anything only she could be able to help him. Well, he could handle that for a short time. After all, from what little he had gleaned from the conversations so far these Oneiroi were all about testing the herd members in different ways, so maybe this was his first test. He would not fail it.
He stood quietly for a moment, knowing that only one of the three could talk to him at the moment. But finally the one question he really wanted the answer to slipped out. "When will the ceremony happen...to make me real?" He would wait as long as it took, but he was curious as well on how long it would take things to prepare and what it would involve.

Ramiel listened carefully as Drifa described what he would need to do in order to prepare - it sounded fairly straight forward, fairly similar to the preparations needed for most ceremonies. The herbs might be different but other then that he was relieved to find out that he knew what he would be getting himself into.
Well...minus the part about raising a foal of course, still many other stallions did such a thing every year with no problem and if they could do it then so could he. Nodding to the two mare and giving the dream foal one last look Ramiel turned "I will go and ensure that the pass will be watched well in my absence..and see to the watch schedule. Drifa..I will come to see you soon about the herbs...and Pha, I do hope the little dream creature behaves well for you." He stated, it was as close as he could come to telling the foal outright to be on his best behavior. It would be nice to hold an actual conversation with the little beast once he was made real. Leaving Pha to answer the foals question Ramiel took his leave of the two mares, trotting back towards the pass.
Drifa nodded to Ramiel as he took his leave, it wouldn't take long to gather up the proper herbs, she would have to make sure that Pha was supplied with the proper ones for the foal as well but she was fairly certain that all of the necessary ingredients were stockpiled away - such herbs were far to important to run out of and they always made sure there were plenty on hand.
"I will go and ensure the proper herbs are gathered for Ramiel and the dream foal." She told Phasianidae with a slight nod. "It shouldn't take too long to put the bundles together and in the meantime I expect the Dream creature has a great many questions." She stated with a look at the tiny foal. New dream creatures always had lots of things to ask - she supposed it must be confusing to leave the dream world and enter reality and was somewhat glad that she had been prayed into being while too young to recall the confusion herself. "I will bring you the herbs soon." She promised Pha before turning and trotting off.

"He will be fine."Phasianidae assured him and then watched Ramiel go to see to those duties. She was certain that he would be a great mentor to Freyr once he got used to the idea. It would take them both time to adjust to this new life but she had faith they would both end up doing great. Turning her attention to Drifa she nodded once more. "Thank you." She said and watched the mare retreat into the mist. Well now that that was taken care of all she had to do was take care of the dream foal for a while. "Now then," she said turning to Freyr. "How about I give you a tour of the herd lands and you can ask me all the questions you want?"
Freyr felt a small pang of sadness as Ramiel left, but it didn't last long, as he knew this was necessary before he could become real. He watched Drifa leave as well and then turned to Phasianidae. "I'd like that." He told her when she offered to show him the lands and answer all his questions. Boy did he had a lot of questions, but he also wanted to see the herd lands as well...or as much of them as they could considering how fog filled the area seemed to be. Which then turned into his first question. "Is it always this foggy? If so how can you see where you are going?" The questions continued to pour out of him as he began to follow Phasianidae on the hard land tours.
