Perched on a rare intact street lamp, Luxara surveyed the local scene. Her coat tails waved in the gentle breeze. She squinted with a hand above her eyes, focused on seeing if there was anything or anyone out there.

After about an hour of this, her squatting legs were starting to cramp up. The metal creaked under her. The rusted thing might not last much longer... She wobbled a little under pressure, and- wait. What was that? A little ways away, Luxara swore she saw a shadow dart between buildings. Hmmm!

Seizing the moment, Luxara climbed back down as quick as she could then jumped on Stagdad's back. "There's something over there!" she hissed. Looking where his charge was pointing, Stagdad hestitated. His trot was a bit slow for Luxara's taste, but they did get there faster than she would've. And much more quietly, to boot.

Luxara looked around, hunched low and sneaky. She looked in windows, around corners...nothing. Absolutely nothing. Grumbling at how much nothin' she had, she kicked a can. It rolled off until it clunk next to another wall. Deflated, she followed the can for another kick. Luxara looked down. Her eyes widened. There was a footprint there! Someone had DEFINITELY been here! A bare foot, at that.

Even though the trail quickly fizzled out, she had something to report back at base, anyways.

Activity: Construction (7)

This was no good. Correction: he was no good.

Ephias stared at the jumble of tubes and pipes that lay before him. He was supposed to be moving it to the first construction location. He did not budge though. His arms hung limply at his sides. He was already exhausted from his efforts earlier in the night. Ordinarily Ephias did not really like to think of himself as weak, but he was now seriously reconsidering.

Wolly nudged a pipe with his nose. It rolled down off the pile with a clatter, and bumped into the troll's shoe. “Leave off, Wolly.” Ephias grumbled. He hunkered down, intending to pick the up the pipe. As he did though, a wave of hopelessness washed over him. Instead he began to push the pipe back and forth over the ground. He knew he could not stay like this long, but a part of him did not care if he was found out. A fairly large part.

Wolly huffed a sigh and flopped down (the change was barely discernable from when he was standing). He gave his charge a pleading look but either the troll did not notice, or did not care. With a sad bleat, Wolly lay his head on the ground.

Ephias' gaze wandered. The world was busy around him. Recruitments jostled back and forth, carrying supplies, relaying instructions, and picking up scrap. An orangeblood, even though she was bent under her load, moved briskly and without complaint. And here he was... doing nothing. That really should have motivated him, but Ephias was too far gone to get a handle on his emotions.

Recruiting: Long distance recruiting (6)

After applying a nice refreshing ice pack to his nose, Vitual began to think how recruiting trolls around the area could have gone a little better. From what he had seen he was only able to grab a few of them. This did not discourage Vitula, yet it also didn't make him proud that he only got a few of the remaining Old Hemisect residents to come out and help with reconstruction.

He walked over to the recruiting booth once again to figure out his next move to stand out from the crowd. The words long distance recruiting popped out at him as if looking through classes that could turn two dimensional print into third dimensional. Vitula knew exactly what to do for this next one, and no one would have thought of this but him. He quickly gathered up as many feathered aviation lusi and strapped on pages of recruitment ads. Letting them soar up in the air all at once.

"GO! LET THE WORLD KNOW ABOUT OUR WONDERFUL PLANS!!" Vitula spoke at the top of his lungs. After that a single feather aviation lusus began to try and fly up into the air to deliver the letters. This one bird was of course Vitulas lusus Parrot Pop. The rest of the feather aviation lusi began to walk back to there trolls, pissed at the young yellow-blood who had strapped letter on to there back.

As fond as Sinter was of the military environment, he found the whole event rather overwhelming. Once he'd gotten his nightly allotment of charts sorted, Sinter took off to do some intelligence scouting along the beach.

It may have been an excuse to go see his lusus, but nobody but Sinter needed to know that. ]

Tierte Iromok - Construction (6)

Tierte decided if she had to do something in this forsaken murder-camp, it might as well be something she liked anyway. In this case, they called it 'construction' but to the feral redblood... well, she always had her own way of doing things.

Tierte looked at the blueprints provided, eagerly poring through machinations and machinery outlines in particular for the buildings. How exciting! You couldn't find stuff like this in a library... She slipped a few extras under her sweater for later keeping.

As well, she decided gathering material was a great way to score free ropes. She was a natural at this!

Abrila Variga - Demolition
Demolition: 12 points

Abrila was wondering if she had signed up for the right class this time. The boring troll from before was gone, replaced by a jittery little blueblood who seemed to have some kind of problem sitting still. For once Abrila wasn't tempted to fall asleep because he was running this way and that and she couldn't help but watch.

He taught them the proper way to identify weight bearing walls and the best place to hit them. Hitting them proved to be very satisfactory.

Today's Activity— Recruiting

With a flick of his wrist, Vulpin swept his hair to the side and gave an award-winning smile. He kept his flyers in a neat little stack, pushing the royal agenda to every troll within his range.

Only, some trolls didn't want to be pushed. Most of the ones who took his flyer threw it out once they thought they were out of sight. Ugh, Vulpin thought, these losers just didn't know what they were missing.

Down at the corner of the road, another recruitment troll was having a lot more luck. Quietly, Vulpin sneaked up behind him and pushed him off the curb.

Demolition

Alifax wasn't particularly concerned for Frossa - it looked like she'd gotten into an argument with a far too energetic-looking redblood, and he was well aware that his purpleblooded friend could handle herself. He waved at her retreating back before turning to his own task: he was scoping out the weak points of a building, trying to figure out the plans for the demolition crew that'd follow him. This was interesting work, he thought, marking relevant spots as he went.

He did have to wonder, though: why was everyone at these recent events so young?

Recruitment

The photoshoot had taken so long the previous night. Dictys lifted eir little arms above eir head as ey walked back over to the recruitment offices.

Okay, so tonight, walking there was actually the easy part. Dictys never thought ey'd ever say that! But it turned out not everyone wanted to see eir glorious face up close, especially not on military recruitment posters. And it was true: while Dictys was probably an ideal poster child, the poster probably did need to show em in some military-esque pose, rather than a headshot of em proudly proclaiming You can do it! So Dictys conceded that much.

The posters still needed far more of eir blood color, though.

"You lowbloods have no tact," she informed the other girl with a scoff, before turning to wail on the wall with all her might. Challenging your superiors- the nerve!

Tamiya strode up to a hive and looked through the translucent slimeportal that was embedded in the front door. She knocked. And knocked. Nothing. But the door did open when she knocked firmly, a third time, on its own. Mysterious.

She decided to explore the hive. Nobody was home. She grumped, but spoke into her radio pester device. "Hive at my location at the following coordinates is unoccupied, and is free to be demolished..."

Just in case the troll came back, she slapped up a recruitment poster on the side of the wall.

Eostre patrolled the beach, chatting with trolls nearby. She tried to pry information from them, with mild success. There was something off about the whole thing, but she kept that to herself, reporting everything she learned dutifully.

"You highbloods have no fun!" Cerise cackled with a sharp grin, body slamming the sides of a wall. "Isn't it so much fun! To take down all these buildings?!" The best! Too bad they didn't have baking or poisons on the task list. That would have been even better! Unless they found some rebels hiding in the buildings, some dead ones...

Today's Activity— Construction

Sly suggested that Vulpin take one of the construction classes, it could help if they wanted to build a new building for their wool beasts! Vulpin wasn't too happy, but he supposed he could take a boring day once in a while.

The teacher troll gave his lecture, and handed out supplies to build miniature buildings in small groups. Vulpin snuck a few extra pieces from his unsuspecting neighbors and built what he thought was an impressive skyscraper. He leaned his chair back into the another table with just enough force to knock a project off. Whoops, too bad!
