He exhaled a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding. So, she really was gone. His vision long ago so distant that it was a painful reminder of that fool's hope he'd once held. "....." How many thought they had a right to live on earth? He wondered if they understood what they said when they took that stance. What they implied, what they were stating to the very people they opposed when saying such. "That's a fun delusion- but we can't say that. We can't think like that." He tugged his hood over his face more, taking a second to face her, pulling out the white strands of hair from his hood. "This is a side effect of being on my world. I used to love the smell of the ocean, the taste of fresh fish, the feeling of the sun and the sight of the stars at night. Now it smells like oil and rot. Fish taste foreign. The sun is too hot, the stars don't look right. The sight of the stars don't match what they should be for me. I was born human, but now I'm a royal. I'm as senshi as can be- and I know I'm not human anymore. Humans can't use magic like we can. Our starseeds are the very worlds we are tied to. Humans are tied to only themselves. If we die, our worlds die." He smiled, melancholy. "If was say we are human, we say we have the right to be born here, to live here- as the representatives of our worlds, we are taking a claim to earth. Even if our worlds are unable to support us, we can't say that we belong here. We were never intended to be earthlings. The moment we make that claim, we give them credence. We give them reason to hunt us and seek us out to kill. Our claiming to be what we are not gives them support. No matter how much we might think or feel otherwise, this isn't our home. It was never meant to be our home." He hid his hair once more. "Serenity died some odd years back. For a long time, we thought she might have been reborn again but... she wasn't. We've lost her in this rebirth cycle. I don't know what this primer is, but I know a great deal about white moon's.. deals with earth. Given enough time, I could possible recall memories of other senshi if I had deals with them in the past. The ability to recall memories as a royal is a double edged knife at best. A curse at worst."

Orah stopped when he did, facing him with a wary expression. The things he said... he was probably the first person she knew of to argue that senshi were aliens, the same way the Negaverse argued it. She hated agreeing with anything the Negaverse thought or said...
"Claiming we don't have a right to be here also gives them reason to hunt us." She said softly, watching him pull strands of silver hair free. "If we don't belong here, then they're right to reject us, to hunt us down and push us out. So either way..."
Her shoulders lifted and dropped in a shrug, the sad way he smiled tugging at her heart. She always felt the new to give comfort when she saw distress... it was hard to ignore that feeling now. It drew her forward and she stepped into reach, tentatively lifting her hands to run them down his upper arms and give them a light squeeze. Orah didn't know him well and some of what she saw, frankly, was irritating... but they were on the same side, at least. If they didn't stand together, the war was a loss already.
The thought of memories made her wonder if she'd known Castor and his brother, once. It was possible... Ida had a lot of interstellar travel by the nature of their work.
"I remember small things about Ida. Places that were important to me, mostly, and my brother. Important moments. If you ever remember something about Ida, or the Koronis Family, I'd really like to hear about it." Orah said as she dropped her hands, weaving her fingers awkwardly together in front of her. This was a safer topic than the war and their differing stances on it. It wasn't worth arguing with him, since she was pretty sure she'd never change his mind about it. She was never very good at that. "Ida is a main belt asteroid. It was something of an agricultural paradise and a place of healing. We got a lot of patients from... all over, I think. I'm still working on getting into the patient records. If you traveled, maybe you went there once and I met you. Or treated you even, who knows. Hopefully those memories would be pleasant ones."

"Yes, no and sort of- we're refugees in a very real sense. Products of chaos attacks on our worlds, of decayed planets that fell to ruin. They could claim as senshi we are supposed to stop such but even under that logic, there is a fallacy. One cannot be blamed for all results. I fought more than an army when I was slain. I was not even the leader of my people- perhaps their idol, their commander, yet the leadership fell to the king, and the people's choices. My brother was no better than the highest commander as I was, and yet he was not royal. As we passed, normally, we'd have been reborn yet with our worlds and peoples killed, we couldn't be so our starseeds found refuge on earth. If they, the negaverse, hunt us and completely reject us- those who are products of chaos's influence- they undermine their own message of wanting to be free of our influence. Senshi born here are not born here out of desire, they are born as this is our last refuge. The last place where we might live again to perhaps recover our worlds. If senshi claim they have the right to live and propagate on earth then they are claiming that it is their inherent right. Morally, we have the right to be allowed peaceful lives, but not to claim a place that we are not from as part of what amounts to our sovereignty. Earth was never ours. Just the same, it is was never belonging to chaos. Their own claim is dead- Beryl no longer alive means they have lost their so called rightful ruler and thus as an organization cannot subjugate their own people. My brother and I have become outliers however- we have made war and declared earth our battle ground. However we are clear in our intent- we have no desire to rule nor lay a claim to earth. I was born a human, but I will die senshi, I will die Castorian. Chaos is our enemy as it, like senshi, has no right to lay claim on earth or her people. You and a great many others may not think this way, but for each instance you say you are human, you shame yourselves. You are senshi- you are of Ida. I am of Castor. There is more at stake than our temporary lives here. There are laws we had, rules we followed, alliances, wars- we were the peoples of the the cosmos." His tone was even, neither hot nor cold, merely explanatory. Yet it was not the same as the man who'd been seen at the old factory. Not the one shaking from memories and hallucinations. There was clarity in the eye that remained uncovered. Knowledge and confidence in his knowledge. "We cannot ignore what we are- we cannot ignore the fact that as humans, the negaverse on premise, wishing to remain free of lunar or outside control is not wholly unfounded. Senshi might be born here but we never should have been. We have come because no other option remained. Think of what happens when refugees arrive in a new land, their homes destroyed. They have not simply become citizens of this new land- they remain peoples of their homelands. Generations later, that will not have changed. If refugees claimed land, resources, and titles and labels of the place they had fled to- are the peoples of their new land required to give them such? Must they provide for people who had no choice? Must they relinquish control of what they had to their new residents who could indeed one day go back to their homeland?" He shook his head, moving from her touch. "They move under commanders who are ignorant of how they are being used. They think they do good but fail to understand what they are doing. The use of truth to mask lies- it is the mark of a clever leader. Senshi act under half truths and lack of understanding- the marks of foolishness marred with ignorance. You touched me with a desire for comfort, but to me I felt none." He reached out, brushing a stray leaf from her coat. "It is not comfort I need, little bloom. It is for our kind to understand that what we're doing is more complex than simply fighting to save lives. That we have forgotten what we are, and in that we have forgotten ourselves. Lady of Orchids. That was what I'd have called you. I would have made my offers to bed you and see you as a lover. I would have asked for a tithe, for crop or men for my armies. I would have offered protections, men to keep your peoples safe from harm. I can guess for now." He pulled away smiling. "Yet until I am home, I cannot seek such memories. Perhaps I shall find them. Or perhaps you will remember me, as often I would guise myself as one of my men. Maybe you will remember Castor. Perhaps you will remember a man with white hair and eyes of ice. But in this life, you will remember me when I am slain Orah." He shrugged. "The living always remember the ones who die, drenched in blood."

Listening to him talk about his planet, his past life, and whether or not they had a right to be here on this planet was a study in patience and acceptance. She didn't agree with a lot of what he said... she still felt they had a right to live here, to call Earth home. Arguing with him wouldn't solve anything, but when he got to telling her it was shameful to call herself human, her brows drew together and her posture firmed.
She was human AND she was senshi. Whatever he chose to call himself, she knew what she was. He pulled away from her touch, but when he reached for her she stood firm, letting him brush the leaf away. Frustration... that was what this was. She didn't have the words to express her opinions properly, not in a way that would truly make him understand. Slender hands clenched at her waist and she took a deep breath, letting it out slowly.
"The living remember the good ones too, Elzo, and I can guarantee I'll remember meeting you while you're still alive. Whatever or whomever I was in my past life doesn't define who I am now... and I will chose that for myself." She said as she pulled her pen out of her pocket, stepping away from him. She called her henshin phrase as she lifted the pen and her form lit up, glowing petals exploding from the ground to swirl around her and form into the skirts and flowers of her powered form. When she was Ida again, she turned back, offering the man her hand.
"I need to be going... finish my patrol and get home. Thanks, again, for your help with the youma. You were quite impressive. You've given me a lot to think about, too. Maybe we can talk again sometime... Maybe I can take you to Ida, show you my world."
