The fans' unanimous request for AJ ******** up Blackjack would have to be put on hold. Warner leaned his chest against the middle turnbuckle but was soon pulled back by the unforgiving champion, relentless on making Warner look like just another victim. His face was changing colors and spit was escaping the corners of AJ's mouth as his back arched backwards from the force of the chain. This was getting real ugly fast, and minutes into this match, bystanders had become skeptic on the Shooter's ability to compete with the psychopathic Blackjack. They were also unaware if they were watching a wrestling match or a mugging in a dark alley.

User ImageBlackjack continued to pull, he gripped the chain tight and strained to pull tighter, while shoving his foot harder against AJ's back. He pulled as though he were trying to rip AJ's head off, perhaps he was. Blackjack would roar in delight screaming out to the cringing audience. "<******** YOU!" And he laughed like a maniac.

More drool escaped from the lips of the Suplex Shooter. His face was changing colors already, a bright red thickening on the complexion of his face, and his once widened eyes were fading shut. Was it really going to be over this quick? Blackjack strangling his opponent nearly to death in order to hold on to his precious world championship? Perhaps Warner had underestimated the steps he needed to take in order to defeat the irrational Blackjack, but fans across the globe knew that it took a lot to keep AJ down... or at least that is what they remember of him.

User ImageThe savagery that Blackjack was displaying shocked the audience, even more so than when he stabbed Hiro. That was quick, bloody, and violent; like angry makeup sex while your girlfriend is on the rag. This was slow, and grotesquely enthralling. Blackjack laughed on while AJ's deepened until finally Blackjack released AJ. With one final hard tug, Blackjack would attempt to yank AJ into his back with the chain, allowing Blackjack to lean over him for an early cover.

AJ was already seeming limp (like angry make-up sex while your girlfriend is on the rag), and by the force of Blackjack's homicidal tendencies, Warner was put on his back. The ref started to slap the mat for the count:

One!

Two!

But AJ never dismissed the notion that Blackjack was an inferior wrestler, and perhaps trying to tango with Warner on the mat wasn't where the champion was safe. In a veteran move, the Shooter grabbed a hold Blackjack's calf with one arm and wrap his other arm over the champ's neck, and went to turn him over and roll him up for a pin attempt of his own!

User ImageWas Blackjack feeling a bit over confident that he'd actually beaten AJ enough to pin him already? Very much so, that's why it came as a complete shock when not only did AJ kick out of the pin, which drove the audience completely nuts; but, he kicked out by catching Blackjack in a roll up counter. Blackjack was flabbergasted at this, and the shock left him unsure of what was even happening. The official switched the counts,

1!

2!

...

Blackjack broke the count at the last possible moment by kicking his way free of AJ's roll up. But that was a closer pin count than the one Blackjack had just made, and he was furious about that. In a rage Blackjack climbed to his feet and started shouting at the official as if it were his fault. The fans however, had exploded with rounds of cheers for their hero AJ!

AJ rolled onto his hands and knees, coughing a bit from the strangle-hold that was just released. He couldn't leave himself in a prone position much longer, otherwise even a smallest bit of wisdom in Blackjack's head would let enable him to tee off on Warner's back with the steel chain once more. As soon as the Shooter was able to stand, he went to slap Blackjack across the face as hard as he could. It wasn't the most heroic wrestling strike by any means, but he needed to let the champion know that he wasn't intimidated or by any means close to respecting the man who wore the belt.

User ImageAJ's slap caught Blackjack hard, and shocked him out of his tirade on the official. He glowered at AJ and reached for a length of chain to wrap around his fist as he reared back to throw his hard right hook!

AJ ducked the methodical swing at his head. Time to take a break on the fisticuffs aspect of this match and get into some real wrestling, by far Warner's biggest advantage in this contest. In one swift motion, AJ was able to dodge the chain-wrapped fist headed towards his face and step behind Blackjack. In a hurry, the Suplex Shooter went to put Blackjack in a half nelson and turn his back towards the corner, the same corner he was almost choked to death in. If successful, AJ would look to throw his opponent into the turnbuckle with an early yet deadly half nelson suplex!

User ImageThe moment AJ ducked his punch, Blackjack realized the mistake he'd made. He'd allowed his frustration to take a hold on him and he'd been stupid. AJ moved swiftly despite the punishment he'd taken. Before Blackjack could react AJ caught him up in a half nelson, and suddenly Blackjack was being thrown backwards.

Blackjack collided with the turnbuckle head first. His body hit the ropes and he bounced off of them into the cage and tumbled down onto the apron. Blackjack was groaning on the mat, all thoughts of the match at hand had been wiped away when he hit the turnbuckle.

A huge roar from the audience was heard after AJ connected with his (second) favorite variation of the suplex, the half nelson made famous by Japanese legend Kenta Kobashi. But Warner was the ******** Suplex Shooter, and AJ took pride in the fact that he could put his opponents on their back over and over and over again, especially the undeserving world champion. One thing about Warner everyone grew to love and hate? He was never satisfied. So without hesitation, he grabbed the collar around Blackjack's neck to abruptly bring him to his feet. If there weren't any interruptions along the way, the Shooter would look to suplex his nemesis back into the ring.

User ImageBlackjack was forced to help AJ pull him back to his own feet, lest be be choked by his own collar just as he had done to AJ. Standing up in the tight spot with his head throbbing took all of his concentration, and so AJ found it quite easy to lift Blackjack back above the ropes and bring him crashing back down into the mat. Blackjack landed and arched his back grunting from the pain that now spread down his spine.

The strength it took for that suplex had backed up the claims that AJ was in the best shape of his career. He was much more than just the man of a thousand suplexes though; nine years in the big leagues had made him very crafty. Despite never competing in a match that involved a dog collar, Warner was anxious to try out some new moves, or to at least incorporate the chain with them. He could be gone for the cover on someone he saw as such a pathetic champion, but Blackjack needed to learn. AJ grabbed the part of the chain that was closest to the champion's throat and went to pull his head up, only to aim a vicious knee towards Blackjack's face.

User ImageBlackjack just started coming around from the second suplex, when his head was yanked up by the collar around his neck. AJ's knee was coming in fast, and Blackjack's instincts kicked in, he raised his arms to cover his face. He didn't make it in time, and the knee smacked into his face and knocked him right back down to the mat.

No cheers came from the audience; instead, they were in silence of the already brutal antics shown by both men. It had shown that they were willing to pull out any and all stops to bring home the gold. Warner wanted to take advantage of his position, so he looked to sit Blackjack up in the same fashion except instead of a knee, the Shooter looked to drive the toe of his boot into the crazy man's chest. If successful, he would look to do this a handful of times before going for a cover.
