Legacy would begin to stand after Brody broke off his hold, if not for the leg drop to his spine sending him back to the ground. His hands, still on the ropes, tightened as the pain set in. He tried to pull himself up, shaking his head, fighting through it. He was a tough man, and he wasn't done yet.

Seeing Legacy desperately try to get back to his feet, Brody actually looked embarrassed by his attack and quickly got himself clear so Legacy had plenty of space to get up. Climbing back to his own feet, Brody kept an eye on his opponent, just in case he decided to take Brody's courtesy farther than he wanted.

Legacy senses Brody back away, and using the ropes pulled himself to his feet. The leg drop had hurt more than he was letting on, but he wasn't about to show any signs of weakness to the champion. As he stood, he was hoping that he could take a brief moment to breathe and recoup, but the champion would undoubtedly have other ideas...

Brody looked over Legacy and quickly deduced that he was, in fact, still reeling from the leg drop. Now would have been the perfect time to take advantage of the opponent's current predicament....if Brody wasn't the nice guy/complete idiot that he was. So instead of pressing the attack, Brody kept his distance and watched Legacy, giving him ample time to recover while he let the still lingering discomfort in his torso gradually fade.

Legacy recovered, but was somewhat taken aback by it. Even with his short time in wrestling, he knew to always expect to be hurt - but he wasn't. Brody had taken his time and moved away, the aggressor no more. Shark to sheep. Legacy rolled his shoulder as he took deep breaths. He looked over to Brody, keeping one eye on him; he had reason to assume he was an idiot, but he was still wary of him as a worthy opponent. When he felt as recovered as he could be in the circumstances, he took a step towards him, wondering if he would make the first move, or stay sheepish.

Seeing Legacy step away from the ropes, Brody could only assume that he was ready to continue. With a quick grin and a nod towards his opponent, Brody threw caution into the wind and charged Legacy. Cupping his hands together, he adjusted his path ever so slightly and swung his hands back, only to bring them forward with as much force as he could muster, trying to catch Legacy in the gut with a running polish hammer.

Legacy was ready, but he didn't expect such a rushing, careless approach. It caught him so off-guard that it became a winning strategy despite itself. As Brody's paired hands collided with Legacy's abdomen, he buckled from the impact as the air was forced from him, leaning forward, exposed.

If Brody was shocked by his hit connecting he wasn''t currently showing it, pulling his hands back from Legacy's chest as quickly as he could. Taking a step to the side, Brody pulled his right hand back, before stepping back to where he had just been and using the extra force to try and crash his fist into the right side of Legacy's head.
