"Frankly after your theatrics I'm surprised you haven't rented a stage." Kairatos snorted, uncharitably, as Bishophite swatted his hand and stormed around, but he apparently had no intent to be any less bull headed. "I don't want to watch you deteriorate. I want to see you keep trying to get out instead of giving up and drowning, and if that means I have to piss you off on a daily basis I will find a way to ******** do it. I mean if you're one hundred percent sure you're going down anyway, why the ******** shouldn't it be kicking, screaming and flipping them the bird and any other ******** rude gesture you can think of?" He barely knew most of the names Bishophite rattled off as more than books he occasionally waked past on a book shelf, but they didn't seem like they'd be helping much anyway. "We've got no way of knowing if we get another go round or not, so you might as well make the biggest mark you can, right? It's over when it's over, and it's not over yet." Besides, they might yet pull a huge damn coup, however unlikely... and that would make it even damn sweeter.

"You speak of it like zey intend to try it twice." How many other ways can you think to attack the same issue? Do you have a research and development division in your repertoire? I doubt it; as the true epitome of Chaos, I suspect you lack all structure of the sort. So how long will it take you to devise any alternative approach to my starseed? A month? And during that time, how long do you expect it will take until the Negaverse uncovers my intents toward treachery? I used to relish these occurrences... Perhaps I still can.
Initially Bischofite cast a stoic gaze over his shoulder, though it soon offered a glimpse of mischief and crooked smile. "So you want to see how much trouble I might stir up, Kairatos? We'f not known each ozzer long, but I can promise you zis: I am not lacking for schemes. Zere is a reason most of my colleagues now detest me so. If you're truly interested to see what I can do..." He drew a breath, closing his eyes for a moment as he rifled through varying approaches. "Gif' me a week at ze least. I can offer you a game plan wors' pursuing, even if ze bulk of your side wholly distrusts me."
The creature turned to fully regard Kairatos, hands now clasped together. "Round up zose you trust in ze mean time - inform zem of ze opportunity to go on ze offensif'. Try to leaf' my name out of it; I suspect ze word Bischofite now causes some to snarl. Zey will, however, need to know zat zey are working wis' an agent. I will haf' to compensate accordingly; most will demand recompense for my prior deeds or for compromising wis' me.
"Additionally, if I am to do zis, I need accommodations of my own - I need a place to stay outside of ze Rift, and a more reliable means of obtaining food; since I no longer reside beyond ze cas'edral, I cannot simply bask in energy to staf'e off most of my hunger needs. Since we're going to work togezzer, Kairatos, I suspect it's important zat we bos' survif'e long enough to do so." If nothing else, I only need to relay what I know that might damage Negaverse tactics before they reclaim me for their own deeds. Surely that won't take long - and if fortune holds, Buddingtonite may not crucify me to curry favor.
"Quenton told me once before, it is better to die on my feet zan to lif' in chains - so let zem try to murder me wis' what men zey haf' left once I am srough wis' it."

"I think we can do a week." Kairatos agreed. See how much trouble he could stir up huh? That had potential, and maybe they'd find leads to other people who also wanted to give the Negaverse a good shaking up. "I'll get the pictures to everyone I can think of who might have some insights, and see what we can do. It's the finding a place to put you that's going to be a bear, but I'll get on trying." Where could they possibly put him that the Negaverse couldn't reach? And how the hell did you feed a ... a half Youma? Burgers and collected energy? Donate energy on visits? "What the hell do you even eat right now? No offense but I don't think we've got the time frame to beat around social niceties about your food preferences." Alois was far from out of danger, but he was starting to like the sound of this idea much better, itching to see the chaos they could unleash on... well... Chaos. "That's more like the son of a b***h I was expecting," He noted, with an wicked grin at the promise of trouble, as apparently in this case, the phrase was meant as a compliment.

The creature scoffed. "Does it look like I adhere to social niceties, Kairatos? I am far more interested in steady acquisition of sustenance zan carefully prepared lasagna or reubens wis' extra sauerkraut. I eat food, anysing zat you yourself would eat, and I haf' no known allergies. Try to avoid heavier foods as I lack ze ability to digest zem well; I often srow up afterwards. It's counterproductif'. I'll eat what I can, and you won't hear me complain about it - not until I'm human again." Exhausted and pained, Bischofite rubbed at his chest absently. The dull ache still persisted; likely it would not fade until the morrow.
"If nossing else, I am still a general of ze Negaverse - srough ze ranks, I'f learned a great deal of plotting and executing operations wis' low numbers and a requirement for flexibility. Provided you can mobilize a group of your allies in a functional fashion, we should be able to pull somesing off... I suspect ze lot of you are averse to militaristic execution of operations, but it may be a necessity, depending on what I can come up wis'... Ultimately, zough, you will see why ze name Bischofite became a phrase of note among your allies and mine." He grinned, hands pressed together before he swept into a walk toward the alleys.
"Quenton lives in an apartment complex on ze campus of Destiny City. I suspect zat, wis' ze high volume of individuals living zere, I may find many senshi willing to confront me. However, it's more difficult to sense ze exact location of an officer when ze aura coats a surfeit of rooms across several floors. If nossing else, I should be passable zere on some nights, provided ze curtains are drawn to prying eyes. Ozzerwise, abandoned buildings offer a measure of safety, so long as zey sit on ze outskirts of ze city. Seldom haf' I ever encountered a senshi zere.
"And Kairatos..." He paused, gaze sweeping across the darkened absence of the city, the trees and streets and walls bereft of life in the deep midnight hours. Afterward he found the man's face, hollowed with the long stretches of shadows struck across his features - sickly in the yellowed light. "I will keep a notebook of my plans during zis time. At any moment, ze Negaverse may summon me. I won't haf' time to relay my sought processes to anyone. I'll keep it in a location of your choosing... Somewhere safe, unknown. If my luck holds, it won't matter. But if not..." He let the phrase hang heavy in the air, weighted with the possibility of death or a fully-rendered monster bearing his old name.

"...That's a tough one." He bit his lip, trying to think of someplace he would know that would not be obvious. "But now that I think of it, I might have some ideas on how to possibly hide you. But I have to get in touch with a friend and ask if it'll work." It was a slim chance, and he'd almost forgotten the circumstances... but the idea had crept back up and given him just a touch of hope. God though, where to stash a notebook? Someplace memorable, but secretive, someplace people wouldn't go looking for it... "...Could we hide it in the Library?" He was reasonably sure that the people who would expect his involvement would never look for it there.

"Ze library will suffice." He considered a myriad hiding places while the pair walked, rifling through what he knew of the library in combination with blueprints he glimpsed from Zirconia's lair. "We could hide it in ze roof - ze ceiling squares are easy enough to mof'e around. Provided zey don't haf' electrical problems, it's an easy place to access. Tell no one of it, if you can - unless you see good reason to." Like if you're dying. Like if I'm killing you - wholly youmafied.
"I'll start hiding it in one of ze corners - it offers an easier approach zan marking one of ze tiles. Zat might raise just enough suspicion to check for a leak in ze ceiling, for somesing awry... For somesing suspicious." He sighed, peering up at the stars momentarily.
"It'll be a hard road, but hopefully a fun one. You should go - we haven't much time to waste. I'll look into what I can; meet me at ze overpass where we first glimpsed each ozzer in a week's time. We will reconnect zen."

"In a week." Kairatos agreed, tone grim, but electrified with the excitement he was trying not to let get the better of him. He had ideas, and if this even worked a little... ... just a little. "I'll get back to you as soon as I can. If I have news jn time and can't reach you, I'll borrow a page of your notebook." A week and there was a lot to do, and he'd better get started. "Better be alive and kicking in a week, or I'm going to find a way to kick your spectral a**!" He warned, moving to depart, to collect his keys and phone. Bishophite was right, they would have to move fast to do a lot if they had even a hint of a prayer.
