"Mirrorspace is... tricky. It's hard to stay there is you're a lower leveled senshi. And it's almost impossible if you're not a senshi to start with. I mean, we don't even know if Aarne and 'Tasha have senshi starseeds or not. It might be an option if we have to break and run, but only as a passage. Not to live."
Arilee didn't bother to state the obvious. Even if they ran, right now, they had nowhere safe to run to. Not to mention that she refused to run and leave the people who could use her help in the lurch.

At the mention of the Safe House, Arilee cocked an eyebrow.

"Do you need me to post a Dark Mirror there to ferry folks if the searches get too heavy? I've got a couple who'd probably enjoy it."

"You're right." Mintaka started to curl up on her chair. "Mirrorspace or space in general is not a option for us anymore. My planet...If chaos wasn't so strong...If I was a princess..." She shook her head. "I'm not sure...Would I be able to sustain life like that."
"So runnings out right?" She laughed sadly, "Can't take everyone and just run. Fight would be the better option. Or give in. Sometimes Arilee, sometimes its too much, and I think of giving in." She put her head on the tops of her legs, burrowing it. "Sometimes it'd be just so much easier to corrupt and forget. And it's so selfish..." She hated this weak side of her, when she wanted to be strong. Arilee was fighting too, and would continue fighting.

Her head popped up and she nodded, "Yes, Yes please do! I've got a couple of Dark mirror senshi, some more newer then others hidden there. I don't know how to teach them about mirrorspace, but perhaps you could spend a moment with them?" She gnawed on her lip. "If I could have one that move freely around to drop messages...oh but that's so much to ask someone else...." She picked up her cup of tea and sipped again. "You can bring Natasha and Aarne and let me play with them...." She waggled her eyebrows, since Ava and Arilee both understood that Fai was the most doting aunt thing. THE...MOST...DOTING...AUNT THING. Just thinking of the twins made her extremely happy and sad all at the same time.

Taking a sip of her cooling tea, Arilee considered things.
"You know, it's funny in a way. Dark Mirrors are so different in so many ways from you guys. We can't purify, we can't go to space on our own and as far as I can tell, we can't awaken or corrupt our own cats or knights. I think I would have liked having my own Knights, you know?" she said wistfully. "Point is, just giving in hasn't ever really been an option for us. And unless we get hit on the head pretty hard, I don't think having our memories poof is gonna happen either."

She paused to take another sip, so tired that she wasn't even sure she was making sense at this point.

"I kind of envy you, Fai. As shitty as they are, you have options available to you that we don't. Instead, we're all in this fight, but the Dark Mirrors are still outside of it in a way. It sucks."

Rather than give in to tears again, she turned her mind to which Dark Mirrors might enjoy guard and ferry work at Safe House.

"I'll find someone for you," she promised. "And I'll do my best to find some time to whisk the newbies you have off for some teaching. If I can't, I'll get someone who can. As for the twins, we'll see. I know you're great with 'em, but taking them out of camp is a bit nerve-wracking right now. We'll have to see how things go."

Fai played with her cup sadly.
"I bet your knights would be amazing. True heathens on the battlefield." She joked, "All abs and armor and spears. Like 300 or something. Feathers..." She added on a after thought, "with feathers." She looked down and away. She didn't like purifying or corrupting, she didn't want to think of Chariklo..of Arilee not existing like she was now.

She hated how this war dragged on.

"You guys do have it the worse. That's what I feel like." She looked away, "It won't be long till the Negaverse decides that we are all useless and it's just them." She wanted to run, take Magiore and run. But there was nowhere to run now.

"That'd be great, I know you're busy with everything-" Here hands flew all over the place, "Being a princess has its ups and down yeah? It's a good thing I gave up that pipe dream a long time ago." She laughed, "I have Drake too, if anything, but he prefers to watch over the house and teach the children when he can." She slowly got up, looking at her watch.

"I think it's okay for me to go back out there, I'll catch a cab or train home and call it a night." She moved over the table and to her best friend. "My door is always open to you Arilee, whatever you need and whenever you need." She bent down pecking a kiss on the cheek and wrapping her arms around the woman in a tight hug. "Thank you for saving me as per usual."
Twilight Jaws We can probably wrap this one too OHOHOHO
