Arsh grunted as he lost his grip, but gripped his Mace in a two-handed grip again. He moved in as the Demi recovered; it was true apparently, what their intelligence said, he seemed to see with those things. While he was pondering this, he didn't realize his foe was already recovered and swooping in at him, and he took another blow from those claws on his shoulder; he tried to twist away briefly, then bring the head of the mace up into Ling's chin like a billiards shot, instead of with the haft like before. HP: 19

Ling twisted, pulling his head to the side he caught the edge of the mace head to his ear. Continuing the mid-air spinning movement he brought his good leg around for a powerful roundhouse kick to the head of his foe. HP: 17

Arsh missed again, and paid for it. The kick landed solidly and he was suddenly on the ground, seeing stars. He somehow had managed to hold onto his mace though, and swung out half-blindly at the shadow Demi's legs again. HP: 15

Ling moved in to strike his downed foe only to be met with the mace. It dug painfully into the previous wound, intensifying the pain. He hissed through gritted teeth, but continued his move to bare down on Arsh with sharp downward swing of his staff. HP: 13

Arsh felt his mace connect, but then felt the staff connect with him before he could clear his head. He grunted and reached out and tried to grab Ling's ankle, trying to haul him down to the ground with him. HP: 12

Ling felt Arsh's hand wrap around his bad leg's ankle and try to pull him down to his level. The motion sent a wave of pain through his leg but he flapped his wings, countering the force. With a hiss he swiped his black claws at the hand that held onto him. HP: 11

Arsh was halfway pulling himself up as he tried to pull Ling down, and even though it was countered, he manages to get to one knee and does release the grip to avoid the claws, but this time reaches up to try and grab and twist the chain around Ling's neck, hoping to either choke him or haul him down. HP: 11

Rather than be flustered by being unable to back away from his foe he uses the pulling force from Arsh grabbing his cape's chain to his advantage. As he is yanked down he flaps his wings to add more momentum he aims to headbutt his foe's noggin with he forehead. HP: 9

Arshavir noticed the move and twisted his head, catching a light blow on the side of his head intead, and growling, he tries to keep a hold on the chain, and slides his other hand up the haft of the mace to try once more to bash him in the face in a sharp jabbing motion. HP: 9

Unable to pull back from the move for his foe's grip on his chain, he pulls his head to the side. Taking a slice to the cheek from the edge of the mace a growl of his own rumbles from Ling's throat. In a rather awkward postion with the cursed Ling did the only thing he could think of and tried to sink his razor claws deep into the fleshy stomach of Arshavir with a animistic snarl. HP: 7

Arsh heard him growl in reply and knowing they were in close quarters he figured he'd use the claws again -- he let go of the chain and twisted, and thankfully only his shirt got ripped in the process. With two hands free now, he grips his mace with both of them, and heaves a hard swing at Ling, wherever he can hit him. HP: 8

Ling was quick to take advantage of his loosed state and flapped his wings hard, pulling him away from Arsh. The made glancing his good leg in the process. Though his breathing came heavy and he was bleeding badly Ling didn't seem to slow down or take a moment to recover from the coursing pain. He growled aggressively and lunged right back in with a powerful, two handed swing of his sleek, black staff. HP: 5

As soon as Arshavir's swing finished he was planning on getting all the way to his feet but when the shadow demi swooped in he changed his mind, dropping flat to the ground to avoid the staff. He swung his mace upwards to try and catch Ling in the stomach awkwardly. HP: 7

Ling took the full blow to the stomach. It knocked the air from his lunged, tore up his bare flesh and sent his flying. He landed on the cold hard cave floor with a sickening thud. His body was at its limits but someone must not have told the determined demi that. Despite that his whole body was wracked with pain and refusing to respond he was back on his feet, rushing Arshavir with speed he shouldn't have been able to muster. A rage filled scream tore from him as he lashed out with several rapid strikes with his claws. HP: 1

Arshavir felt a great sense of satisfaction as his mace landed the mighty blow. As soon as the shadow guardian was knocked back he was up on his feet, taking advantage of the time he had. The Demi should have barely been able to move, but he came at him anyway, bloody and bruised. "It is over, guardian," he murmurs, as he easily dances back from the claws this time. "You fought well...but your realm of shadows will be ours for the taking," he continues, and brings the haft of his mace up again to attempt a knockout blow. HP: 6
