Finn's hopes were quickly dashed, as Ripley's luck took a turn for the worse. Wilhelm's larger appearance was finally weighing down on his user, and all the pale man had to do was shift the wrong way for him to lose balance with the much bigger blade.
He missed, but only barely. HP: 49/50 Damage: 0 sammpai we're going to be here for a long time

"You do both realize that in order to get a charge for my weapon, you actually have to ******** hit each other?" He said, voice mild as he watched with the flattest of expressions Ripley's utter failure. Shiloh's was slightly harder to see as Finn had his back to him. "All right, Ripples. One more chance." What he neglected to mention was that for every miss, he planned on beating them both with Trynt's flat edge. Probably by spanking them on the asses because that would be funny for him...... “Yes, yes, we know,” Shiloh said, waving a dismissive hand at Finn and huffing a little as he once more lugged Haruko around and readied for another attack. It was easier to not picture him naked when Finn was being a literal a**. "Glad to see I'm not the only one off-ball today." He swung the chain of his weapon around, sending her flying past Finn and straight towards Ripley. His aim seemed truer this time and her metallic jaws snapped at the other hunter. HP: 42/50 DMG: 6

He had many things to say to that, from Shut the ******** up, Finn to In my defence, Wilhelm and I never did get along in battle..., with a natural sprinkling of Shut up, He just changed, okay?. But none of these things seemed proper for him to say out loud, and so he didn't. He traded his sass in for silence, coupled with the small clench of his jaw in determination.
"We're allowed." He submitted, deciding to not give Shiloh the same silence as he gave Finn. This wasn't life-or-death, they could stand to be a little off in this situation. At least the little 'conversation' gave him a chance to steady himself again, and to change his grip on the large sword in an attempt to regain some control over it.
It wasn't working too well, but he figured he had at least some chance...
He pushed himself backwards as the metal jaws lurched for him, the weapon catching the meatier part of his outer thigh. His grip on Wilhelm slipped in surprise, but he managed to avoid dropping him entirely and, by some miracle, actually managed to surge forward, smashing through Finn's defence and not pausing until he felt the sword bite into Shiloh's shield. Finn would never actually say that he had let Ripley slip by with his sudden charge forward, but he certainly hadn't done much to stop him either. The swords blade rang out as it struck against the shaft of Finn's lance, and Trynt snarled in his head, absorbing what Fear he could but letting his wielder know that he did not yet have a full charge. Pity, that. "Well, I'd appreciate it if you had your off days some other time." Finn smiled, coldly, at the both of them. And then he spun around, letting his lance "accidentally" clip against Shiloh as he turned. "Woops, sorry about that." His head tilted to the side slightly, and nodding his head at Shiloh, he moved to the side, Trynt now letting him know that that had done it. He was charged and ready in case it was needed. "Please, do continue on. I'll just be here waiting." He stood by his duffel bag full of supplies, stabbed Trynt into the ground, and than crouched down to do just that. “Hey, you’re supposed to be neutral! Look, just because you want practice doesn’t mean to get to injure me yourself! Rude!” Shiloh yelped, jumping away from Finn’s lance as it caught him in the leg. Between that and the way Ripley’s sword had pierced through his shield, he was starting to feel a bit outmatched. Get it together, he thought, shooting Finn a disapproving look before coiling up Haruko around his arm. “He’s not sorry at all, is he?” he asked Ripley, looking indignant. His throw reflected his poor attitude, running wide of the other hunter as if to prove Finn right. HP: 30/50 DMG: 0

"This is the best time to have an off-day." Ripley countered, rather bluntly. It was either situations similar to now, or on the field with a lot higher stakes. Now would always win. Always.
"He usually isn't." He confirmed for Shiloh, with a small nod. Avoiding the oncoming blow was easy, because it sailed past him; and in that moment, he had another opening. Ducking to the side to avoid recoil from the swinging ball-and-chain, Ripley shot forward, sending Wilhelm towards Shy's exposed side. HP: 43/50 Damage: 5

"Hey. I'm right here you know. And you're calling me rude?" He scoffed, adjusted his position a bit, and continued to watch. "Anyways, I told you. It was an accident. Do you want me to smack Ripley to make it even?" Something in his voice clearly came across like he wouldn't mind if Shy said yes.
