Mona and Karia were already up and around... well Karia was. Mona was on her side on the ground being very quiet and very still and trying not to wake the boys as the bundles before her moved and gave little pips..
Karia had just returned with a pouchful of water which she layed infront of her neice and let her take a long drink.
Mona saw Raven move and gave a wan smile. "Goodmorning, my dearest love." She looked at the blankets and tucked them in a little closer to each other. "Come meet your family, Raven." She nosed each of the blankets as she spoke. "Raven Rainsong, Heron Hymn, Lightning Soliliquy, and Myna Partita." She smiled brightly.
Karia moved back over to her mate and settled down on her sides, careful of her own widening belly.

Oh look blankets...he could count now...wait what? BLANKETS? He had missed it??? Gack.
He wanted to jump up and pace but, he listened to their sweet names and noticed that they either pertained to music or birds and that made him smile broadly. What a clever mate he had. She hadn't mentioned Raven when they were tossing around names, cheeky female.
"Mona, my heart why did you not wake me, I don't usually sleep so deep I'm so sorry, they are so beautiful."
And they were a perfect blend on himself and their lovely mother, the most beautiful mare on the face of the earth. He bent his neck down and nuzzled her before stretching over her to nudge his offspring gently. Gah it was too much adorable in one place...and they were his adorables, his to share with his mate and the rest of the world. She had done such an amazing job carrying their children and having them without a hitch.

Karia giggled at Raven's reaction as she layed down and closed her eyes to take a small nap. They wouldn't be leaving anytime soon and she'd been up late with her niece.
Mona smiled at her mate, loving the surprise he had shown at the eldest's name. "There was hardly any time, my love. I woke up with pains, Karia was already awake because of my small noises, and they just came... there really wasn't much time. Then you looked so peaceful sleeping and they were exhausted from the ordeal that we just kinda stayed quiet and waited." She grinned at him. "There's four, Raven... four little songbirds of our own. She nudged the youngest. "I thought we might call her Symphony... Kinda for my mother.. you know?" She smiled lovingly at her babies

Kivosk still asleep snuggled closer to Karia as she lay down.
"Symphony is lovely, and what about the other little Sparrow? What was her name again my heart?" Raven and Heron were easy to remember but the girls were a bit more complicated. He was still leaning over her, but he endeavored not to squish her.

Karia gave a smile and nudged Symphony and Lightning. "Lightning my dear. Lightning Soliliquy." She gave a bit of a chuckle. "A mouthful for one as young as she. What do you think about a nickname for her?" She nuzzled her daughters before moving her nose to the squirming Raven and tucking his blanket in tighter around his tiny body. It was amazing how much love already filled her heart at the sight of these four tiny beings who hadn't been here but maybe an hour.

"Well my love how about Sparrow? Its short sweet and small, just like Lightning. And will simplify her name somewhat." Raven looked at Raven Jr. with mild interest. "Why is he squirming?" He tilted his head, he had mixed feelings about the boys, he did love them, but who would they turn out like? His old rebel, somewhat murderous self, like mona, or like the new him, family studmuffin. Who knew? And how would his own actions affect this?

Mona chuckled and leaned over to nuzzle her mate. "I am fine with that name. It seems to fit her. Sparrow.. My little songbirds..." She smiled brightly, her joy pouring from every orifice on her body.
The little black and rainbow bundle squirmed at the name, letting out a little peep that actually sounded more like a song note than a squeak of a newborn filly.

Raven's eyes widened. "Oh isnt she adorable! Well they all are but well you know!"
Raven glowed with pride and joy as well. Mixed with restless energy, he wanted to crow to the sky that he was a father.

Sparrow squirmed and finally tossed her blanket off, heat making her hide crawl with itchies. "Papa, bankie off." She stated proudly as she looked around for her father. She wriggled as she pranced around a bit in place, a stray hoof lightly nicking her brother as she looked around.
Mona looked over at her precocious daughter and shook her head, trying to hide back a smile. "Watch out for your brother, my little songbird. You don't want to hurt him. Papa went out to get apples. Stay put and he'll be back soon." She said softly as she stepped forward to nose where her daughter had trod on her son.
Karia laughed from her place by the tree, her rounded sides preventing her from moving too far. She didnt know how Mona had traveled so far while pregnant... It was all Karia could do to keep from wincing as she rolled over, though a mare in the next town over said everyone's pregnancy was different, and it could be that Karia was having a more difficult time... It was hard to tell as Karia had no idea what her mother was like pregnant with her...
