Hvergelmir smiled happily, shaking her head 'no'. He wanted to go! She was thrilled. Her Wonder may not have been in its best possible state -- cleaning was a loathsome project that was forever underway -- but to her, it was still beautiful. And Zippeite and Babylon seemed to have thought so, too. She so badly wanted Titan to like it.
"Oh, no," she answered his question, "it's as easy as -- well, it's as easy as standing up, to be honest." With a sly, sideways look, she clarified, "Speaking in confidence, it's perfectly possible to travel to space
without standing up, of course -- but personal experience bears out that if you start out sitting in one place, there's no gaurantee you're going to have anything to be sitting on when you teleport to where you're going. The results really aren't pretty. So it's just better to stand."
So saying, she swept off the bench and to her feet. Hvergelmir extended one hand, palm up, the other still holding her coffee. "When you're finished your doughnut," she said. "And hold onto my hand till I say you can let go."
