"Is that all you want? To be the victor, no matter what the cost?" What was going on in this girl's mind, that she was so fixated on that? Nazca thought that they were supposed to be there to save the world, or something equally important. Compared to that, how could racking up tons of wins in senseless fights compare? Where was the meaning in what she was doing?
If she would be satisfied by so little, then he was inclined to let her have the win. She'd probably get it anyway, and he'd rather save himself from further injury. "Fine. If it makes you happy, you're the victor. But be careful- one of these days you might not come out on top. And then what will you do?"
Even if he was seen as the loser, Nazca hoped this girl would listen to something he was telling her, before she fought someone who wasn't such a wimp.

It was hard to tell, but as the girl shook her head and straightened up, she most definitely rolled her eyes. He didn't understand her goals, and that was fine since he clearly was not the sort who understood the finer aspects of fighting. How could a man like this understand the desire to be the best.
"I win, then I win. I lose, then I lose. It's simple as that!" He might have been digging at something deeper with his prompt, but none could accuse this senshi of being a particularly deep thinker.
With that, she placed her hands together, bringing her legs so they were touching before leaning her head a bit in his direction. He might have been a wimp, but such a gesture was a basic sign of respect to give one's opponent.

Was it really that simple? Somehow, Nazca doubted it. But he had done all that he could to show the girl otherwise. Using force wouldn't demonstrate anything, and he wasn't even sure he was capable of doing it. He had to admit that she was good at what she did. But no one was infallible. One day, she'd meet someone stronger, and then-
Well, it was her problem now.
He did notice her bow. Even though he didn't like what she was doing, he felt compelled to bow in return, stiffly, with his hands glued to his sides. "A good evening to you, then," he said, turning to leave, and hoping she wouldn't come after him again. She seemed content now that she had declared herself the winner, but she was also kind of nuts.
"And thanks for nothing," he muttered under his breath. All that time wasted, and he was no closer to Tara than before.
