Basket Name: Kanoni (F) / Huitzilin (M) ((I'll use Kanoni for this, to make it easier!)) ---Meaning:"Little bird" (African) / "Hummingbird" (Aztec) Temper: Animated Personality: In as few words as possible? Utterly rambunctious. As in, who let this little foal get a hold of the sugar cubes! And if that wasn't bad enough, there's also a bit of a competitive nature in this foal, like Kadentsu can be. Always having to be in constant motion and high spirits, she does not know the meaning of 'feeling blue' or 'relaxing'. A very sweet creature to her core, she'll always have a bright outlook on everything. If you're upset, don't worry! You're bestest buddy will come cheer you up! No, really. You'll be smiling in a few seconds flat! Whether that requires this Soquili to act the utter fool, or just find the right thing to say, you can rely on the fact that by the time you're laughing, you'll forget why you were so down to begin with. This is probably the mellowest you'll ever see this hyper gal. However she is not incapable of acting serious when the time calls for it. It's just... not the first reaction you'll get from her. But when she is acting serious, she'll almost be a completely different foal, devoting all her energy into the matter at hoof. She tends to be much less vocal, letting her mind work out the problem. Until she can't figure something out, then it's the question rapid fire. And once she gets going, she'll make 'twenty questions' seem more like twenty seconds. The one thing this little foal seems to be lacking is a short fuse. Tempers are not something she is known for and being angry just seems like a waste of time! Relax, bro~
Prompt Choice: 3 Prompt Post: The concept of being out on their own wasn't really clicking for Kanoni. Why would they be out on their own? Wouldn't mama stay with them? They weren't supposed to wander too far away. So why did she think they had to be on their own? But she did understand the being a Princess part! That was so much fun to think of herself as a Princess! Like mama. Although the sitting still and listening was difficult. Kanoni did not like to sit still. She'd wind up fidgeting or walking around in a circle. Only to be scolded for it.
Kanoni heard her siblings snickering softly before mama gave them a look too. As soon as mama turned her back for a second, Kanoni stuck her tongue out at Makoto. And then she tried really hard to listen to mama. They were reviewing what they'd learned yesterday. How to be polite and social manners. Now they were to work on greeting new Soquili. Each of them in turn would approach Kadentsu and offer a bow and what they thought was a courteous greeting.
Watching Makoto walk back over, Kanoni hopped up next, prancing to her mother and skidding to a halt. She bowed her head, peeking up to see if mama approved. And then, "Greetings mama- I-I mean, ma'am! How are you? My name is Kanoni! I'm so happy to meet you! Have you- "
"Kanoni... " Her mother sighed at her, nosing her back into proper place. "You must speak slowly, child. You'll bombard a guest with speaking so quickly!"
She pouted. "But mama! How else are ya supposed to get everything out in time?"
"By slowing down, Kanoni. Now. Again."
Okay, so maybe the princess thing wasn't as easy as she liked to believe. But Kanoni did try! Yet again!
Plot Ideas:
• Take a chill pill! - With so much energy, it's bound to irritate someone! Most likely Kadentsu or a sibling. But it could be someone she's just met who is not yet used to all the energy this foal possess! Someone will eventually need to have a chat with her about having waaaay too much energy! • Are you royalty? - Try as she might, the whole 'princess' thing is not sticking for her. Not because she doesn't like it or agree with it. But because she just can't tone down her energy. It would be lovely to have her meet her Uncle that does not like the whole 'royalty' thing. And even better if she were to actually meet a Soquili that could be considered royal! • About your Father... - She won't really question too much about her father not being around or her third sibling. But as she gets older and starts to learn more about separations and sees how families are split apart for various reasons (ie: a fling), she'll want to know what really happens to Moto and her other sibling. • More plots to appear along the way! =D

Basket Name: Shiori (Unisex Name) ---Meaning: Japenese: As a feminine name it is often from Japanese 詩 (shi) "poem" combined with 織 (oru) "weave". It can also be from 栞 "bookmark, guide" (usually feminine) or 撓 "lithe, bending" (usually masculine). Temper: vivacious Pesonality: Shiori is a very joyous, playful, and light hearted. He takes each day to its fullest and enjoys what he can. He tries to replace his father in the lives of his family, but with no father figure growing up, he finds himself unable to understand what a father really means.
He has a great deal of respect for females, but find it hard to trust stallions knowing that his father abandoned them. This makes him seem different when face with another stallion, closed, and untrusting, even other males in the family, though not to the same extreme.
He is above all protective. He constantly tries to prove that he is better than his father. That emotional dent will always be there, something to push him forward. He would shake death away if only he could to prove he would always return home.
Prompt Choice: 1 Prompt Post:
Shiori had awaken before the others, the sun still only but a sliver in the sky of a new morning. He stretched as he stood, looking down at his sleeping sibling and then to his mother. He was always forced to stay close and be at his mothers side but all growing foals need some leg room. He stepped lightly over Makoto and made his way away from the family.
He was to busy looking back and checking to make sure no one had awaken to even notice the dew coated crisp grass, or the scent of nature around him. His mind was focused on sneaking away on his own. Each step seemed drawn out, as if time was at a crawl, his heart pounced in the back of this throat. With a heavy swallow he pushed it down, figuring he was save he moved into a small trot down towards the local river.
The rolling sounds of water could be heard as he approached the gentle running water as it trickled over a few stones that protruded from the shimmering blue. It was a tony stream that broke from the main river to trail off into the woods. Something about this place almost seemed relaxing to a scared foal. He was safe, or so he thought.
His head leaned down, drinking slowly from the water as those eyes glanced off across the stream. his mind was lost in simple thought before finally he drank his fill. As his head lifted he could hear the thick rolling beat of hooves in the distance. There was to many to be a single creature. He was frozen in place as a heard of large deer came bursting from the small forest line running right towards him. He was to close to the trees for them to notice him.
In an instant he dropped to the ground as hooves trampled around him, he could feel the earth quake, hear the breaths of the creatures as they past. His breath was gone, stolen by fear, his heart raced and all he could do is clinch his eyes tight and hope that he was not trampled.
As quick as they came they were gone. He lay there in trampled grass, those eyes slowly peeking open to see the waterline as it was before. He was to scared to care as he jumped up and scrambled his way back home as fast as his little legs could carry him. He took no care of he woke his mother as he ducked and curled right up against her sleeping frame, shaking and cringing. There he would stay for the rest of the day. The world was just to much chaos for such a young foal today.
Plot Ideas: Siblings at play - A small game between the two ends up in a contest at who is better. A silly game that leads to far. In the end Shiori ends up losing. This causes a small disagreement between the siblings and brings in another plot Forgiveness is hard - After a small while of anger between the two Shiori ends up in the heat of trouble. A hunters trap turns deadly as the two compete and Shiori tries to prove once and for all he is the best of the two. Shiori ends up falling in and Makoto has to save him, by getting help, or pulling the injured foal free from the deep hole. In the end Shiori learns that family is more important then he could understand. This opens his eyes to a great deal and starts him questioning about his father and the other sibling, and reminds him how short life could be. Reunited - Once an adult, and after many years of asking questions and wondering, he finally decided that the family should be whole. Though his father would never be family, the missing sibling deserves to be apart of it. Shiori will spend a lot of time trying to figure out where his father went so that he could find his sibling and bring them home, if even for a little while.

Basket Name: Eri ---Meaning: (絵理): Meaning "blessed prize." (Will play as a she for this) Temper: Uneasy Personality: Eri comes across as a blunt, selfish and unpredictable character, yet deep down there are streaks of her that are warm. Like her mother, she can have a short fuse, and does take a while to get out of these moods unless treated wisely. Most of the time she does love her family, as loyalty plays a huge part in her heart, and does not forgive easily for those who hurt her. While she is alone, Eri does question herself and her beliefs. She questions those around her and has a huge fear of being hurt by those close to her. Treat her right, and she will treat you the same.
Prompt Choice: #2 Prompt Post: Eri was weakened by the thought of her father and sibling leaving her behind. She knew it broke her heart, but she couldn't show that in front of her mother, it would only hurt her even more. What would happen if I chose to follow? To live a life with my father? She thought to herself, wondering what the possibilities would be like. Eri stood up and took a walk on her own, uncomfortable by the broken love she feels in her heart. She knew she couldn't leave her mother and other sibling behind, it would kill them. How could they do this to us? Just leave with no word? Her little heart trembled, but all she could do was be there for those who stood by her. She was only young, but she knew what was right and what was wrong, and the love she had for her mother was enormous.
"I will stick by you forever, Momma."
Plot Ideas: Little hearts - Catch ups with the brother/sister, adventure times and get into some trouble. Lost love - Try to find her other sibling and father, not for happy times that's for sure. Love Gained - As an adult try to find love in a broken kind of way, to fix Eri's anxiety and to open up her heart a bit. Momma's Love - Open up to her mother about her feelings about everything as an adult. About her trust issues, her anger toward her broken family, etc.

Pink & Black Basket Baby!

Basket Name: Takashi {m} | Tomoko {f} ---Meaning: Takashi: 孝 "filial piety", 隆 "noble, prosperous" or 崇 "reverence". Tomoko: 智 (tomo) "wisdom, intellect" or 朋 (tomo) "friend" combined with 子 (ko) "child". Temper: Multifaceted Pesonality: { Will be writing the basket as being male for the prompts and such. }
Takashi is a stallion with many sides to him. While he maintains an overall front, he's a rather complex gent. Like his mother, Takashi holds a great deal of nobility and dignity, carrying himself with immense poise and grace as one of his status should. Keeping composed is something he does his best to maintain as well. Vanity is a curse he has been gifted since birth, it seems, as he constantly keeps himself neatly groomed, and presentable to anyone he is in the company of. While he does not chastise others for their own appearances--not often, at least--he will become rather flustered if he is not looking his best. Many hours will be spent with him untangling knots from his mane, and making sure his coat is smooth and untousled.
Taking after his mother greatly, the youth has a sharp tongue on him that he's not afraid to use. While he does not succumb to outbursts as his dear mother does, he will not hesitate to put someone in their place should he find them unruly or unsavory. There is no way he will allow someone to belittle himself, or another, if he does not see it fit. Dovetailing off of that, he also does not appreciate others trying to force authority upon him. While he can be respectful towards the wishes of others, or rules that are in place, he will not bend to the whims of someone simply attempting to bully or push him around. The only figure he will sometimes waver with is the only parent figure he has: Kadentsu. She is someone he holds in high esteem, and values greatly. Some might say he's a mama's boy. That wouldn't be off the mark.
Tied in with all of that, one of the struggles that seems to create quite a bit of unease for Takashi is his strong desire for attention. He seems to crave it, along with positive affirmation. He loves to be doted on, or cooed over, lathered with praise, and complimented thoroughly. Internally he wrestles with himself feeling unable to be as beautiful as he'd like, and thus relying on the constant approval of others to keep his ego afloat that seems to bob up and down inconsistently. When there are others receiving more attention than he, pouting will usually follow with his great displeasure.
With all his fluctuating sides, Takashi is a really caring individual, even with his quirks. He cares deeply for family, and regardless of their relationship, will do anything he can for them should they need it. He can also be very maternal, taking care of those who can't for themselves. And while he's not the best shoulder to cry on--due to being rather blunt, and brutally honest--he will do his best to improve your sullen state, promising to take care of who ever made you feel this way, and marching straight up to them to give them a piece of his mind.
Prompt Choice: 1 Prompt Post:
His mother really was quite the amazing mare. While in his basket, even then Takashi could feel and sense her presence and energy. It wrapped around him, and enthralled him just like her warm scent, drawing his interest oh so strongly. The day he was finally able to step daintily out of the protection of his basket--legs wobbling and head wavering--was a momentous occasion that would imprint powerfully in his mind. To gaze upon the one that'd looked over his fragile being until he was able to enter the world with the required amount of strength was truly something he treasured. She held herself with such elegance, and majesty, paired with unparalleled beauty that truly made the foal starstruck with awe. He would follow her tirelessly, keeping right at her side, and mimicking most anything she did, to try and gain her air... and hopefully some of that attention that made his chest radiate with warmth, and pride spread through the rest of his body like rushing water.
It'd been a few days since that glorious moment, yet the glamour of it all was still afloat, and palpable. Takashi kept trying to impress his mother with each day that followed, showing off his ability to walk with more ease and float as she did across the grasses, and keep his head lifted highly with a puffed out chest, to mimic the dignified posture she held. Learning about different things that were encountered in the world, he took great care to remember each name as best he could, so as to further his chances of gaining that magnificent sensation of praise. While he was starry eyed, and taken by his mother, Takashi did find himself finding interest in quite a few other things as well. Of course they paled in comparison, but... they held... something similar to her, in one way or another. The giant tree's that were flourising with flora or dotted with bearing fruit, the plumage on a few birds, the songs that they sung, the sweet perfumes that wafted gingerly laced through the ribbons of wind... all so beautiful and lovely in one way or another. Entranced by them frequently, he would look to his mother for her reaction to such things. Did she too find them as infatuating as he?
When the trio of them all found a pleasant spot to rest, just underneath the overhanging canopy of an old colossal oak tree, Takashi kept on his hooves while the other two settled down to rest. Head craned back, he stared up at the foliage coating the gangly branches of the grandiose oak, the delicate leaves fluttering with a quiet rustling from the wind that grazed them. To his surprise, a few were nibbled on the ends with a different colour! some with brown, others with a warm orange hue. How interesting... Head trying to lift more, as though that would aid in helping him see better and gain an answer to this discovery, he was suddenly caught with the cologne of something else that piqued his interest!
Ears pricked firmly up when a rather enticing aroma made its way to his nostrils. Flaring them lightly a few times to gather as much of the scent as he could, his head turned towards the trace of it, and hopefully the source. Gazing along the plains that were littered with tree's all about, his legs started moving on their own, carrying him closer as he pranced after the alluring trail. Once close enough, his answer was found! snuggled throughout the grasses were flowers! He'd realized he quite liked these sorts of plants, not only for their aesthetically pleasing appearances, but the delightful smells they possessed.
It was then that a thought came to him... Surely mother would enjoy a bushel of these. And surely that would amount to him gaining a great deal of her affections and attention. With a straightening up of himself, Takashi wasted no time! His head dipped and he snapped off the stems as far down as he could, unaware of each step taken was one further away from his resting brother, and mother. But it was no matter, he was on a mission! The flora took on the colours of whites, and yellows, with a few lavenders and vibrant reds. Soon enough a rather thick bouquet was gripped firmly in his maw. Lifting his head carefully, eyes sliding down to eye the side of his head that was now being pressed by the blossoms, a content little sigh escaped his nose, along with a blissful little flick of his tail.
Turning on his heels, he set on to trot proudly back to his family.... when he felt something rather... odd.... move against the surface of his tongue. Instantly, he stopped abruptly. There it was again. An unnerving chill shot down the spine of his back, making some of his fur stand up with discomfort. When the movement happened a third time, he quickly snapped his mouth open to drop the harvested flowers, eyes wide and staring down at what the culprit could have been.
And there it was....
Inching along a flower stem was a disgusting, slimy, blob of brown! Nose wrinkling, absolutely revolted, and repulsed, Takashi pawed at the flower with the unwelcomed guest upon it! "Shoo, shoo, get off of there!" he hissed at the slug in hushed tones, managing to scrape it off... but take a few backpeddles in fear it might leap onto him! wearily watching as it escaped into the depths of the tall grasses beneath the flowers, the foal quickly scooped his flowers back up, and trotted with more haste to get away from the ugly creature, and back to his mother with his prize and gift!
Plot Ideas: { not one to plot until rp happens first. However, here's a few off the top of my head.}
- Family time: Takashi would surely enjoy his family's company, even if he may be a little pouty or bothered by others gaining attention over him. He won't mind it so much being his siblings that gain it. If anyone should besides him, they should! { also I really love family rp/development! <3 } - Rival!: Could be cute for him to have a little rival! - Fan service!: with how he enjoys assisting and helping others, whether it be via protection or otherwise, I think it'd be amusing if he had a little group of fans that fawn over him. - Empty: After awhile, the attention he gains from others won't feel like enough... or won't effect him anymore. He will try and seek out something or someone that does fill that need for acceptance and approval. Baby just wants that true loveee. - Only you: eventually I'd like him to find a true love, of course, in which only their attention will be what he craves the most, and thus lessening the level to always have all eyes on him.
Basket Name: Katsumi ---Meaning: overcome, beauty (Japanese 克美) (The name is unisex but for this I'm going to play as a male.) Temper: Meticulous Personality: Katsu can often complicate things when he over thinks what he has been taught because he wants everything to be perfect and without error. He is so meticulous and vain that he is judgmental of other’s appearances and of his own. His appearance has to be a certain way for him to be happy, if something isn’t perfect or up to his standards then he will become rather moody and or irritable. He is very proud and stubborn though, if he can’t do something on his own the right way, he will avoid help from others because of pride. Prompt Choice: 3 Prompt Post: His small body stood before his mother as she told him how to bow when greeting another. Katsu took a deep breath and shut his eyes as he bent his right leg and extended his left. He thought he succeeded but he was met with failure when his left hoof slid forward too far and he landed head first into the ground. There wasn't enough time for his mother to assist him, he was back up on his own and ready to try again. He did the same steps as before but was met with failure again as he bent his right left too far and fell. He was beginning to get irritated but was going to get it right. In his mind, he continued to tell himself that he could do it and he could do it without error. He made himself get back up again to do it once more, this time as he repeated the steps he did the bow without error. He had completed a simple bow that had only taken him several tries. The little foal was immediately filled with accomplishment and so proud of himself for not giving up and doing it until it was perfect. He was now ready for his mother to give him the next lesson so he could get it perfect too.
Plot Ideas: Princely Pride - (Foal RP) - After being taught how to act as a royal prince, he messes things up when meeting other foals and has to do them several times on his own to get them right and up to his standards. This is where his meticulous nature is born. Flawed Perception (Foal RP) - He meets another foal aside from his siblings and the foal is rather cruel and mean. He or she makes fun of Katsumi and sort of torments him in a way that makes him feel self conscious about himself. (From this rp his vanity is born/created.) Agrizoophobia - (Fear of wild animals) - (This could be a foal or young adult RP. It can be discussed) - He develops this fear from having a run in with a skin walker. It could go several ways from him being used to an attack or a variation but it would definitely leave its mark on him. He avoids all wild animals, forest and familiar alike. It doesn't matter if the skin walker forms are wolf, fox, cat, bat, owl, or bear; he stays away from all animals. He doesn't know or trust if they are going to turn into something else or not. Haphephobia - (Fear of being touched) - (This could start when he is a young adult) - He doesn't like to be touched by anything that is imperfect. He gets touched by several things over time that are imperfect. So he becomes self critical and finds mistakes with himself which causes his vanity and conscientious nature to advance further. Brought Back Down To Earth - (This is when he is older and down the line) - This plot comes from him not liking to be touched by anything imperfect and a mare comes along that is perfect in his eyes. However, the mare doesn't see him as perfect, she sees him as imperfect and will not even give him the time of day. So he becomes even more self critical and finds more mistakes with himself. Imperfect Perfection - (This is when he is older and down the line) - In his self critical perfection, he realizes that his perfection is the result of his imperfection. He searches someone out (mare or stallion) that could help him change his ways. (This will be a personality changer RP) (These are some plot idea that came into my head, there needs to be RP for more plots to take place/pop into my head.)
