Estel opened her eyes - had she fallen asleep out here? Stretching, she walked back out onto the course--
--and woke up in Nurse Cricket's office.
She tried to exit as discreetly as possible.

Estel tried to rest for a while longer this time before approaching the course again.
This time, she was off to a good start!

A good start soon turned into an unfortunate stumble and quick recovery, although not before she got struck again.

Perhaps she hadn't returned to her former speed quickly enough, because another bolt of lightning struck her.

Estel staggered, tripped, and fell, catching herself with her hands just as she got struck again - hard enough to be dissipated instantly... for the fourth time.

The next day, Estel ran back out onto the course, smiling.
She was going to get it today! She was confident!

And another lightning strike. Estel veered to the side, off the course, and rested for a while.
Still, she hadn't given up yet!

Somehow, Estel managed to keep to a pace sufficient for the course not to punish her for a while longer.

Estel slid to a halt at the top of the hill, looking around her, almost confused. "I... I made it?"
She shrieked loudly, jumping up and down. "I made it! I made it! I MADE IT!"
