Some super senshi might be insulted, or in some way upset, by being pushed motioned behind someone else but not Chaldene. he didn't have a problem with it even as he did as the other gestured for him to do, stepping further behind the senshi of lions. If he had aim issues he didn't wanna risk being caught by the others attack, especially not when he didn't know what it did.
The attack he saw, the lion, was and at the same time wasn't a surprise. The other looked like their uniform was designed after a lion and yet his sphere was pride not lions. But lions and pride went together somehow and for some reason, for a moment he did wonder where that match came from and how far back.
He watched as the attack took off and just as the General came into sight, it was one he'd dealt with before, and saw them stumble back several steps before holding their ground. "I know him...he's dangerous. Tsui says he left scars on her with that spear." he whispered quickly, wanting to warn the eternal. "He's dangerous."

He heard the attack, the words shouted, but wasn't expecting that spectral lion to come out and attack him just as he came into view of the senshi, and as they came into his line of sight. It sent him back several paces as he dug his heels in, he wouldn't yield to this attack. His arms had come up to shield his face from anything he might need protecting against, one never knew what to expect from senshi upon a first encounter. He liked to think he could figure the low ranked ones would be weak, were weak, and would run but some would surprise you of course.
He couldn't assume much here with an eternal and super involved, though that super looked familiar....very familiar. He was weak the super but the eternal he didn't know, a wild card. The heat took his breath away for a moment, and in his uniform caused him to feel, for the moment the heat had washed over him, as if he were over heating in his uniform. The force of the attack had, combined with the heat and surprise of the attack, been the cause for the steps back he'd been driven by it and yet he managed to quickly dig his heels in and remain standing and with his arms up.
When he brought his arms down, one still holding his weapon, he narrowed his eyes into a glare. "Well, that was certainly an impolite way to greet someone. Did no one teach you manners?" He questioned while tapping one foot as he held his weapon down at his side, waiting and watching and thus noting the senshi in blue and white whispering to the other.

"They did..." Regulus growled back, eyes narrowing as he shifted his stance. He still had attacks left, even if he'd burned some in practice. They'd have to be enough to give them the advantage. Have to be or there might be trouble. "I was just too proud to listen." Chaldine said he was dangerous, and having encountered agents like Sassolite... he wasn't willing to give him much chance to use that spear if he could avoid it, and hoped he could count on Chaldine to give him a nice distracting back up to his attack. "Noble claws of the lion!!" Had he been younger, less bitter, he might have given the agent a chance to see if they could talk it out, but he wasn't willing to give that chance tonight. Not when his shoulder throbbed with the memory of an arrow. Quote: NAME: Claws of the Lion: "Sailor Regulus" Summons two handfuls of small blades, which appear to be made out of fire, but are more solid. None are powerful enough to be lethal, but if they actually hit their target, they'll leave painful cuts and burns. 1.a: Noble Claws of the Lions: Again, summons two fist fulls of small firey blades, though they now burn more brightly, and inflict slightly deeper cuts and burns. Unlikely to be lethal, but definitely an increased danger potential.

Listening to both General and Eternal senshi he shook his head slowly. He knew he was needed here, had to fight, but he still didn't like the idea of violence. On the other hand though he knew he had to help and couldn't stand here, behind the other senshi, and do nothing. he had needed to take action when with Tsui also and he had. He had to protect people and help those who were fighting to help people, to stop this nightmare which held their city in it's clutches.
While Regulus attacked he decided to do so as well. Both hands came up and formed like a gun as he blue against his finger tips. "Chaldene Wisp Lure" Sending little blue wisps toward the General, hoping to help the eternal's attack hit it's mark. He knew the spell could be broken but hoped it held long enough. "It should keep him distracted for a few seconds...." He whispered from behind the senshi of pride. He'd had to step out to the senshi's side in order to hit the General but he saw his magic impact with the short General.Quote: Sailor Scout Attack: Chaldene Wisp Lure. Raising his hands, much like a child would when imitating a gun with their hands, Chaldene blows at the tip sending little wisps of blue energy at his opponent. These little wisps of energy would appear to do nothing at first, as they'd vanish upon "impact" with the opponent. But then the opponent would start seeing a wisp of light just in their peripheral and it would last twenty seconds. This wisp flashing in and out of being and in slightly different places, it would certainly be enough to distract most people. And that's all it is - a distraction, a distraction which can be used twice per battle. If Chaldene is attacked the spell is broken and if the opponent is attacked it breaks the spell as well, snapping their attention to where it needs to be, for obvious reasons. If someone attacks the wisp it does nothing, the wisp will simply reform - it is after all just a wisp of light that vanishes and reappears anyway.

He had been going to say something, a co,e back on the tip of his tongue, as he held onto his weapon. The words however died before they could even be given birth to, and oh how close they had been to being spoken, as the Eternal went to attack him. What was the senshi of? There was clearly a theme to his attacks, he wasn't stupid enough to miss the connection.
As the Eternals attack came his way he teleported, one moment he stood there and the next he was gone only to reappear. He hadn't changed locations, just vanished and returned, maybe a few inches forward, but not in some really different location. It was just as he reappeared that he was hit with the super senshi's attack, he hadn't had time to teleport again in order to avoid it.
Ok...so what was going to happen now? It hadn't hurt, he hadn't felt anything. Was it some sort of glitter light attack? No, he was sure it wasn't; it had to do something. There! He saw it, some flickering light right out of the corner of his eye he saw it. Turning his head sharply, his senses on high alert, but there was nothing there. Then he saw it again and it was gone. So this was what that attack did...but he couldn't seem to tear his gaze away from the slight of the flickering wisp of blue light. Each time the wisp appeared the location was different and so the General was turning his head this way and that, slight turns and more prominent turns of his head, but it seemed like he had a case of the twitches and was seeing things that no one else could.

Oh yeah... he'd kind of forgotten the bastards could teleport. The strategy had been so rarely implemented when he had still been actively fighting, though the reasons why barely mattered so much as the fact that it made them even more annoying to fight. This however was one of the times where Chaldine's powers however made him an good partner to have at your back, and he flashed a confident grin before he unleashed his attack again. "Noble claws of the lion!" He snarled again, and launched a new round of bright sparks to join with the illusion Chaldine created. These however weren't so likely to vanish if you looked at them. He couldn't do it again, but he had his basic attack left, for another round or two... he might yet discourage the fight before having to resort to his fists. He'd so rarely had to do that he wasn't sure he liked the odds.

As it seemed he was able to help, the General having become distracted, he could feel a welling of pride as he was able to aid the other senshi. He may not like fighting but he accepted, he had no choice really, that fighting had to happen in order to keep ones self safe and those around them, not to mention the wider range of people. Tucking away his usual feelings he watched the eternal let loose with his attack; aimed right for the General.
The attack was still very impressive to look at as he watched as they hit their intended target. Watching as uniform was torn and burned, singed, and the his own spell broke leaving the General in pain, burnt, and bleeding across his arms.
"That was...good - impressive..." His nerves and the rush of the fight making him sound hyper as well as the usual sort of shyness which made for an unusual combination.

How could he have noticed? The light that kept vanishing and appearing had his attention, fully, and so it wasn't until the last moment that his attention started to focus as he started to fight the damn spell and by then it was too late. He had only enough time to throw his arms up, dropping his weapon in his shock and surprise, as he made to block his face as he crossed his arms in front of his face.
A cry of surprise, and pain, was issued as tears and slices showed against the dark fabric of his uniform as burnt skin showed under it. He'd already been burnt once in recent months and now again? He almost wanted to wonder if this would be some new trend - burning. But he didn't afford himself such time as he lowered his arms as he stepped back. Grayish blue eyes staring down at his arms as he brought them down for inspection. Bleeding and burnt was his own flesh while his uniform was singed and ripped, sliced, and with parts of the fabric burnt away by the senshi's attack.
The pain was there and not unfamiliar to the blond but most unwelcome, he'd need something when he got home, but he bit down on his bottom lip as he shifted and moved to remove his coat and let it slip off and fall to the ground, his cape following it. Leaving him in a vest of gray fabric that was worn over a black shirt that had lacy cuffs and gloves. The sleeves to the shirt were rolled up so the air could hit the wounds and the fabric wouldn't become stuck to the wounds, that would not be pleasant in the slightest bit. He didn't like it when things stuck to injuries and had to get peeled off and fibers gently plucked free.
"That was impressive...very nice." Came the drawling words as the petite General eyed both senshi up, though more attention was given the Eternal. "Tell me...what is your name and sphere? I am rather curious. You can call me Benitoite." Was he switching from fighting to talking or was he stalling so he could do something? Did he need time to handle the pain before he went and engaged the senshi, both of them, in a fight?

Regulus narrowed his eyes distrustfully, hands raised in a position to indicate that he was ready to launch another assault. There was magic in him left. "Regulus! Senshi of Pride!" He answered after a short pause. It didn't hurt him, he didn't think, to share his sphere. Anyway he might be able to help Chaldine get out of here. Theoretically they weren't too far off match, he and the General. There were only so many times they could teleport, he was... reasonably sure... and only so many times he could use magic, so it was about both of them making it count.

"Pride..well that seems fitting. Tell me, do you think you can beat me, Regulus?" He asked in a too calm manner, like a cat who was calm and confident in itself. He even had a facial expression to match, something calm and confident while also looking down his nose at the taller blond.
Summoning his weapon he let his eyes fall onto the weapon he gripped tightly. Could he do it? His arms still hurt so could he do it? Could he put the force behind his swings and take out the senshi, or at least deal a good amount of damage? He doubted he had much choice, he wasn't going to back down so easily. Shaking the thoughts away he brought his weapon up and held it now with both gloved hands, ready to attack but waiting to see what both senshi would do.

Shock ripped through him as he saw the General actually injured and watched him peel off and drop his uniform. feet of fabric hit the ground and formed a pile of the dark material. The injuries to the others arms was painful looking as he looked around the other to see the General summon his weapon. That would give him reach and could allow the General to keep them both at a distance.
"I can help...I can use my magic again." He offered. he had no choice but to help the Eternal senshi injure the General. he didn't like violence, didn't like participating in it, but he knew he had to help other people especially those willing to help/save him.
"When I use my magic you have a half a minute, give to take....likely take...well maybe...to attack him." he stated while he shook his head every time he paused and stumbled over his words. he didn't know how long the spell would hold against a General especially one who knew his magic and was strong willed.
That said he aimed to attack once again. Another interlocking of fingers till they looked like a gun, like little children did with their fingers, and he blew across the 'muzzle tip' while whispering the attack.
"Chaldene's wisp's secret."Quote: Super Sailor Scout Attack: Chaldene Wisp's Secret. This attack would go the same as above only this time the attack would last thirty seconds each time it's used and could now be used three times per battle. The significant difference however is that this time a person isn't simply distracted by the wisps appearing and vanishing only to reappear. But they are compelled, by magic and whispered words of encouragement, to look toward the wisps. The same things can break the spell as before only now when the spell is broken the opponent would feel slightly confused and perhaps even a little disoriented.

"Hey you know what they say right? Pride goeth before a fall." Regulus fired back, trying to divide his attention between the general and Chaldine. Excellent buddy partner for attacks, even if he would have been given a strong advantage if he knew his partner. Something to suggest. If they got out of this in one piece. "Thanks Chal." He added, though he'd have more time for congratulations and assides when this was over, drawing on his magic again, a bit more breathlessly than before as it drew deeper from his reserves. "Noble Claws of the Lion!" It was the last round at this level he could use, and only two rounds of his weakest magic, but he didn't see a point in holding back now. "Fall down and burn you b*****d!"

Again with the burning claws?! He would have shouted some sort of insult, something about using the same attack twice, but he was teleporting just as the attack struck him again. When he did reappear the new wounds could be seen against his chest. Vest and shirt now ruined and the blond general curling inward some, he was trying not to even though he wanted to, as he glared daggers at the two senshi. He had said he wasn't going to back down, not in those exact words, and he hadn't planned on it. But now...
"Burn yes...fall down - hardly." The words came slowly, hissed out between his teeth. He may be stubborn and he may dislike losing and giving up but he wasn't smart. He knew his limits and he knew that he couldn't continue this fight. he didn't know what the senshi could, and couldn't, do so he couldn't continue unsure of what may lay ahead in this fight and injured already.
His nose wrinkled up into something of a snarl. "I'll concede - for now." He had figured that other senshi, the blue and white one, it seemed the super senshi might have found a nitch and grown a backbone...how interesting. He'd have to tread carefully there - that damn distracting attack of his. It left him vulnerable so longer than he liked. He could hold a conversation while fighting, and manage to manipulate it and the other person, and not become distracted but this attack did it - ever time.
One more moment of a glare sent to them both before he vanished. He had some burn salve to get onto his chest and arms when he got home - god damn senshi.

He wasn't as tired, or worn out, as the other senshi likely was but his nerves had been frayed. He had dealt with that general before and didn't like it. He was aggressive and out to kill, or at least shed blood. he'd heard about him from Tsui after he'd powered up during an encounter with this General. He'd managed to help Tsui in the battle by handling that corrupted senshi. he was happy to help others rather than doing to main part of the fighting himself, he wasn't much for fighting but he would defend others and help.
When the general left he felt himself exhale, rather loudly, and let the relief he felt flood him as he stood less stiffly behind the other. "That...was amazing." The words left him slowly with a note of awe in them. "I didn't know if I could keep him distracted well enough." If he had fought it he might have been able to break it, and that wouldn't have been good.
"I'm surprised he left...but those burns must be bad enough he couldn't continue - safely anyway. He's scary....tried to kill me before." he whispered. He was glad someone had been with him for this. Had it been him on his own...he'd have run and hoped for the best. But if it was Regulus on his own with the General how would that have gone? Would the eternal have won?

Regulus almost glowed with pride for a moment, slightly tempered by the fact he still didn't enjoy watching people bleed, and shook his head after the General retreated. It was more of a magical work out than he had gotten for some time, and it felt... surprisingly ok to know he wasn't impossibly horrible at it. "You did good." He noted, to the Super Senshi behind him. "You'll do even better if you find someone you're really comfortable fighting beside, or even several someone's. If you train until you can read each others intentions and don't have to tell the other guy what you're up to. Some of them have pretty sharp ears, and it's a risk." He turned to offer an encouraging smile. "I know you don't WANT to be involved in combat, and that can be a legitimate path for some people. I mean, there were stories about a Nega actually purifying and turning into a knight but I never met her. Find out more and you might be able to lead people that direction. BUT you need to lean HOW to fight, if only to protect yourself. Don't forget we've got fists and feet to you know? Especially since your magic is more distracting. Let them forget it, but don't forget it yourself. That help any?" He waved a hand slightly at the idea of being amazing however, even though he grinned with pride. "Not so amazing. My powers always feel all... backward. My lower level attacks are meaner than by eternal, and they're a bear to aim!"
