Nai and Sloth thought in tandem as they continued to stare at the flame, wondering if it would do anything else. Perhaps it would do something physically useful like teleporting Nai to her actual objective, the golems, or at least showing her a path to them. After all, she still had to subdue the brother, and now that wasn't all she had to do. Too efficient to bother doubting and denying the prophetic qualities of the images Nai just saw, she took it for what it was worth and accepted grudgingly that after dealing with the job of the golems she had already accepted, she would need to find a way to keep what the flame foretold from coming true. A chaotic world required too much extra effort to survive in if Nai could help it, even though she didn't mind chaos herself. The Sins being forced to leave? It would be inconvenient to lose Sloth's powers and even Sloth found it too troublesome to simply sit back and accept. Nai could feel Sloth's intent to act. It happened so rarely it was like seeing color in a monochrome picture. If Nai didn't do anything, he was going to make her do something. Nai knew this, and it gave her yet another incentive. It seemed as though the flame wasn't going anywhere, nor did it provide a way back to the ruins. Instead, the flame moved to Nai's hand and the flames vanished to leave behind a small sphere with a strange strand of silk in it. Once that flame was gone, Bones piled up near the center, the remains of the Dragon to be specific. One of the bones was glowing and it simply stated: Home on the bone. Like a true adventurer, of course she wasn't anything like that, Nai unhesitatingly grabbed the strand of silk from the glowing sphere. She stepped back just in time to avoid the pile of dragons bones, which she then proceeded to stare at blankly. She picked up one bone, one that wasn't glowing, and weighed it in her hands. These bones had easily deflected her bullets. the woman thought, her one-word reason for the action she took next. Through her connection with X, she borrowed some of her summon's powers to transport all the bones back to one of the locations she used for storage.
Only after the deed was done did X snicker into her mind, {You do realize that glowing one was the ticket back to the dojo, right?}. Again, more trouble, but it was more trouble than it was worth to dwell on it. Nai proceeded silently to the next stage of her plans. An instant-teleportation skill of sorts that travels through the shadows, X can use The Excuse to transport him and up to five people of his choosing to a public location (as in not protected and locked from intruders) anywhere in the world the group is currently in. If only Nai is being transported with this skill, X can use The Excuse to travel to anywhere in the current world that Nai has been. As the name implies, The Excuse is handy for "excusing" the user and anybody within a meter's reach of him/her from an unwanted situation. However, it is easy to interrupt, so it's only usable when the opponent is trapped/bound/handicapped in such a way that he/she is unable to get in the way. Visually, The Excuse starts off with a gathering of shadows that quickly rise to form a cocoon encasing the group, which then sinks down into the ground and then vanishes. The cocoon can vary in size up to 3 meters away from the user even though it will only transport those who have some part of their physical body within a meter's reach of the user.
