She flipped in the air and smiled at him, righting herself after a moment and nodding. "Do you have someone you truly love, or are you just saying that is what you want?" She drifted a bit closer, wondering if he did actually have someone who was close to his heart. She was so new there, she really didn't have a way to find out.
And, Miela would be lying to herself if she said she wouldn't be disappointed if he did.
"And as I am a member of the Flock, albeit a new one, there will be no trouble. Where do you want to go? If the Elders approve, that is. What places would you like to see, that I could take you?" Surprised at the sudden exuberance, Miela laughed again, truly amused. "I would love to meet your father. And your mother, and anyone else who you would like to introduce me too. But, most definitely, your father first. He sounds like he has made such an impression on your life." She couldn't say the same. Miela didn't even remember her parents, so aside from her life, she couldn't credit them with anything else. It was one of the reasons she wanted to play a larger role in her daughter's life, though her daughter seemed to be so against that.
Blessed with a basket from a star? Was such a thing possible? As far as she knew, there was only one was to get baskets, and that was how she'd gotten her daughter. But, if it was possible.... She lowered her voice too. "If that's true, that is a miracle, truly." Miela would start wishing on all the stars, if it was such a thing. She could wish for anything, a child, a lover. Miela glanced over at Iris-Raven and smiled a bit shyly. Maybe she wouldn't need to wish for one, maybe.
She flapped her large wings to keep herself aloft, she watched the world flow beneath them, so distant. "I always love being up here. I need to fly more often. So, if you ever have anyplace you want to go..." She trailed off with a grin. Miela hoped that he would come to her.
