Liryn had glanced briefly at Athene, but the dark-haired eternal had seemed okay and so he had turned his attention back to Hydrus because he had promised to explain stuff to the newly awakened senshi and now seemed as good a time as ever to the small tabby bobtail given that the youma was gone.

Hydrus seemed to be in the process of being about to walk off though and so Liryn trotted across the distance separate them, mouth opening to call out and ask the other to wait up - because he still had to explain stuff...

And then the other suddenly turned round after about a step in order to ask how to de-henshin.

"When you want to be..." his voice trailed off as he realised that he didn't know what Hydrus' unpowered name was and recalled belatedly that he hadn't really had the chance to ask.

"When you want to be not Hydrus, then you just have to focus on being yourself as you were before and you'll turn back" he settled on at last.

Athene had turned to the other senshi with the intention of thanking him for his help earlier, but it had looked like the other was in the process of leaving.

He probably would have let him do so in favour of trying to check and see if the civilian from earlier had managed to escape okay, if not for the fact that Liryn seemed to have taken it upon himself to decide to go trotting after the other senshi.

He already close enough to the two to catch their words, but it didn't stop him from stepping a little closer "Thank you for your help earlier. By the way I couldn't help overhearing" he said quietly, although he figured that it was kind self evident that he'd overheard. "But it sounds like you're relatively new to this."

His gaze shifted to Liryn for a moment before shifting back to the senshi "The two of us can explain things if you want" because whilst Athene wasn't aware of the ins and outs of what was going on between Liryn and the senshi, he knew enough to know that the other was new enough that he didn't know how to de-henshin and it wouldn't sit right with him if he just let the other leave.

"It doesn't have to be here and if you'd prefer then it doesn't have to be today, but we can give you a brief run-down and if you have any questions then we can try to answer them."

He left the ball in the other senshi's court.

It wasn't particularly a 'yes' but neither was it a 'no' and it seemed like it was as good as they were going to get - well at least for today.

Athene nodded "Feel free to contact me whenever and I can also pass on any messages if you want to get hold of Liryn."

There didn't seem like there was anything more to be said though and so he watched for a few moments as the senshi walked away.

"We should have pushed it."

His head turned towards Liryn at sound of the small guardian cat's voice, a quiet "Hmm?" in response.

"I said we should have pushed it" Liryn said. "Hydrus is new - so we should have explained stuff."

"I know" Athene admitted because he had worked out that much even if it was just now that he had found out the other's name, "But it didn't seem like now was a particularly good time to push." He reached down to scoop up the small mauvian "Besides he'd said he'd contact us if he has any questions and so we'll just have to hold to that."

Liryn sighed "I still say that we should have pushed it" he said slightly grumpily "But okay."

Because much as he would have preferred otherwise it wasn't as if Hydrus was still there in front of them.

Athene nodded with a quiet sigh of his own before turning and starting to head in homewards direction "I know."

And he did - although there was nothing that he or Liryn could do but hope that the new senshi did contact them should he have need to.
