Karayan couldn't help but to look curious when he was told that he could try whatever it was that Yrre was making once it was finished. Giving a smile he nodded, "Alright! I can't wait to see what it is that you make." He told his friend, completely oblivious to the fact that what Yrre was planning to make wasn't exactly something that was meant for consumption by Dovaa. Just the fact alone that Yrre wanted to share was more then enough for him and caused the Gaili to be quite happy in fact. Now he found himself looking at the various ingredients, trying to figure out what they might taste like together. The eggs for one he knew that he liked, he actually ate quite a few of them, but the rest of the ingredients were a little more unknown to him. It just made the anticipation grow that much more inside of him as he wondered what the stuff might become when mixed together.

Lifting his eyes off the stuff in the basket he then looked at Yrre once mroe, watching as he actually went about looking through the stuff displayed on the booth. Much to his surprise it would appear as though he actually wanted something? It was something that caused Karayan to perk up that much more, his wings giving a flutter, "Sure! I can get that for you." He said, scooping the pretty, if simple, necklace up before Yrre could even consider changing his mind.

Once it was paid for he squatted down in front of his friend, holding up the necklace, "Lift up your hair and I will put it on for you." He told him, waiting for him to do so. He was eager to see the necklace on Yrre since once it was there then it would officially belong to the little fekarat. Once it was in place then surely that meant that he had actually bought a present for his friend, right? The ingredients didn't count since they weren't something permanent or something that could be worn. In fact they would be gone the moment that Yrre cooked them up and they ate the results. As such the necklace meant far, far more if you asked Kara!

Yrre wasn't sure what he was expecting? Maybe a 'that's too expensive' or a 'come on, that ugly little thing?', but not the excited, earnest answer he received from his friend. Yes, his friend.. And as anxious as he was about thinking like that, he wouldn't lie to himself anymore. Karayan WAS his friend, his first and only friend.

The though of his hands so close to his neck was a bit unsettling, as the last time his neck was a target, there were teeth aiming for it. But Kara wasn't some raging animal. He was a sweet gentle thing, atleast that's what he came off as. And Yrre appriciated that. He needed something like that more than anything right now, more than the food in his basket. Shame he had so much hair though because it wasn't just a moment of lifting his hair up, it took a good few seconds to get all of the messy bun up off his neck long enough so that Karayan could snap the chain into place.

It did hang down low on him, almost coming down into his stomach, so he urged Karayan to wrap it around twice, so that it would rest in a more proper manner. When he was finished, he let his hair down, trying to hold back the smile he felt, but it was hard not to.

"It's mine, it's all mine, right? No take backs.. I uh.. Thank you.. Uh.. Yeah, thanks, Karayan.."

Once the necklace was in place, needing to be adjusted a little since it was a bit big for Yrre, Karayan sat back on his heels so that he could look him over. After a moment he gave a smile and a nod, "It looks nice on you and I bet in time you will grow into it." For the time being Yrre was a tiny little thing but Kara knew that he himself had been small when he was little too and now look at him. Given time Yrre would be a big, strong Dovaa too! Or so he believed, it made sense in his mind at least. Reaching out he gave Yrre a little pat on the head between his horns, ruffling his hair, before he said, "Of course it's yours. Why would I buy you a present only to suddenly take it back? That wouldn't be very nice of me now would it?"

Pushing up to his full height once more Karayan stretched out all over, even his wings giving a stretch, before he turned he looked down at Yrre, "So! What are we doing now that we are done shopping? More shopping? Maybe clothes now? That is always fun." He preferred things that were baggy, comfortable, interesting in design and color, those plush his jewelry preferences left him looking quite unique that was for sure, "That or we can go and get something more to eat? I don't know about you but what we had for breakfast was good to tide me over but I could go for something more." Clothing was good, food was good, or really anything else.

Giving a bright, toothy smile, head cocked to one side in a way that made the decorations on his horns jingle he said, "I will leave it up to you to decide!" He was sure that Yrre probably had things that he wanted to do as well and he was all for tagging along... provided the hissy little fekarat allowed him to.

Pleased would be the simplest way to describe how Yrre was feeling. His smile was sweet and genuine this time around, and he leaned forward to give Karayan a hug. He squeezed him tightly for a brief moment before releasing him and moving to stand at his side, rather than infront of him. Even as relaxed and willing to go along with him as he was, he felt a bit uncomfortable being looked down on directly. It almost frightened him as he was so used to having his older brother do the same, terrifyingly leaning over him and screaming. It was the only time when Yrre shrank back.

But this was a good time! and he got his gift, his ingredients.. Everything he needed and more and it was thanks to this kind dovaa. He allowed his hand to slip into Karayan's, and shook his head to the suggestion of more clothes. "No more new clothes or trinkets or anything.. But, yeah, food sounds good. Can we have something sweet? And some meat?"

He went quiet for just a brief, brief moment, before giving Karayan another smile small smile. He could give one complement, right? Karayan deserved it.

"You know.. I like the sound your horn jewelry makes... It's nice and light.."

Karayan couldn't help but to give a bit of a smile when Yrre gave him a big, not something that the little fekarat did often which made it special for the big Dovaa. He really cute be cute when he was hissing and giving orders he thought to himself, giving a little chuckle at the thought. It really didn't matter the mood that Yrre got in, Karayan could never be mad at him, he was just too cute. Even if he didn't like being called cute he thought to himself before the two of them were walking along again while the younger Dovaa seemed to be deciding over what it was that he wanted to do next. After a moment he seemd to decide upon food, something that pleased Kara to no end, "Food sounds good to me too!" He said, clapping his hands together in delight, "I know a place we can go that has great food and the portions are huge! We can stuff ourselves there quite easily and still have left overs." It was a great place, a little out of the way, but worth the walk if you asked him.

Looking down at Yrre as the other suddenly spoke up, giving him a compliment of all things, he lifted a hand to touch it to his horns for a thoughtful moment before grinning, "Thank you. Maybe we will see about getting you some decorations like this one day." He suggested, thinking that such things would look rather cute on Yrre's long, curvy horns. Another day though, he had already gotten him one piece of jewelry and he doubted that he'd accept another so soon. Best that he was happy with what victories he'd achieved as far as the little fekarat instead of thinking on what he wanted to get him next and how to get him to take it.

"That sounds great, thank you." Leftovers were awesome as long as they kept well without having to be chilled. If Bae saw them they'd be gone faster than you could say 'HEY!'. His steps were many in comparision to Karayan's as they walked, almost falling into a jog to keep up with him but that was just fine. He was happy and excited to be here with him, no matter what.

The idea of decorating his horns like Karayan did WAS appealing but just not right now. This wasn't the time nor place to recieve more gifts.. Maybe he could take some of his older clothes and make some braided fabric to go along with them, but actually buying something? Not right now.

"Some day, maybe but for now, let's go eat, okay?"

My last post, feel free to add another tag if you like and the FIN to the title!

Giving a nod of his head Karayan said, "Alright, let's go and find something tasty to eat then!" Since he'd already told Yrre that he knew of a place that they could go, a favorited place of his, there was nothing for them to do now but head in that direction. He was more then eager to sit down and eat his weight in delicious food. He was so used to the feasts that he had at home, not to mention burning off so much energy given the magic that he used, that big meals were the only way to go for him. It also helped that there would be left overs to bring home. If you asked him Yrre always looks and felt too small to him and not just because Karayan towered over the little guy, there was more to it then that! He'd make sure that he brought plenty of food home with him to eat, that way he could grow up big and strong!

Though... even with plenty of food he somehow felt as though he wouldn't ever be as big as Karayan himself was. That was probably just the difference in their bloodlines though he thought to himself. Smiling a bit he reached out to take Yrre's hand in his, holding onto it so that the little Dovaa wouldn't get lost in the crowd while they made their way to the restaurant.
