Marcus was less angry or upset with Chel as he was with himself. He really didn’t do the whole ‘empathy’ thing very well anymore, nor was he good at expressing himself. “You forgot, you came here to be tested. Part of a test is to see your capabilities. Would you rather I not tell you where your faults are and let you run into a battle blind?” He didn’t slash out at her, but rather just held up his blade to block.
“Telling you to stand down and to think about who you’re fighting before you go a waste your charge -while sacrificing your shield- is to help you understand how to improve.” Dis was angry, and in a way, it wasn’t helping Marcus. Though, the weapon was more angry at having been called stupid than anything.
“Consider this ‘test’ over.” He unsummoned Dis, reaching up to check where he’d been hit. “Do you want my full analysis of your strengths and weaknesses as well as the final assessment- or will you let you emotions and pride control you and walk away?” He waited.
