"Wily has done -something- to her to make her believe she is the child of the two Generals." There was a pause. "...Or perhaps she actually -is-. But no pup deserves that upbringing, she'll be much safer with us. Wily will simply use her as a weapon..."
Not that he wasn't planning on that either, but Ash didn't need to know that.
At least she was no longer struggling. Flashover quietly put the pup in the others arms, keeping a watch on her should she try to run off.
"She'll calm down...once she sees she is much better off here."

That was oddly convoluted sounding, but Ash took the pup into her arms. Ooph, wow. She was heavier than she looked. Taking a moment to adjust to the weight of the pup, she pulled her close and shook her head.
"It's alright little one..." she whispered quietly.
"No one is going to hurt you here, alright?"
Aria whimpered in defeat, just letting herself tiredly rest in the female audio's arms. She felt safer than Flashover did. The name didn't register in her head right off, seeing that she was currently concerned about never getting to go home.
"I still want my daddies..." the robo-pup complained quietly to the girl.
Ash was a bleeding heart, and it was actually painful to listen to the pup whimper about the loss of her parents. Flashover was right though, it was dangerous for her to stay there, and Wily was even worse than the generals, as far as she was concerned.
The magma furred audio frowned over to her boss for a moment. She shook her head a bit.
"Where do you want me to keep her for now? I don't expect she'll take well to the others right off..."

"Keep her with you as much as possible, if you don't mind Ash. She'll warm up to the others, I'm sure."
You know, once she got over the ridiculous notion she wanted to grow up as the daughter of two crazy killer robots. Sheesh.
"I need to return to my work...is there anything you need before I head back out?" He had rather...pressing matters to attend to, but he would make time to get things for his assistant should she require them.

"Of course." she gave a supportive nod of her head at the instruction of keeping the pup with her. She supposed it made sense. Easier to adjust to one person than a group. Introduce her in time.
"No, Kilroy and I have been scavenging in our spare time. We should be fine, but thank you." Flashover could be gone for a fair amount of time, every now and then. Over the years she'd adjusted to trying to keep up with stock on her own. Kilroy's support made it a little easier.
"Stay safe."
Aria, who was shaking from feeling hurt, was glaring over at Flashover while the two spoke. When Ash finished speaking, she growled a little.
"Daddy is gonna kick your butt." she huffed, wrapping her tail up around her so she could use it for comfort, but still glare at him over the top of it.
"You're a poohead." the tears were still in her eyes, but, like her fathers, she could be a stubborn little thing.
