She stood up, but turned to face him, concern coming back onto her face, "Are you sure you're ok? He really didn't hurt you?" she asked, wanting to be sure before she left him alone.

He went back to pondering over what to do with Morty when she had stood up, one of the ideas was kicking her out of the house. When Morgy turned and looked to him, he looked up to her. At her question, to try to lighten the mood, he smirked. "If you're that worried Babe, I can get naked and you can 'inspect' me to your liking later."

That got Morgy laughing and smiling, shaking her head, "Maybe later!" she said, turning with a wave and heading to the kitchen to get the kettle going.

He was happy to get her to laugh at that. Although this occurrence was something they both had to deal with, he didn't need the both of them to be upset. He chuckled, "is that a promise Babe?" He asked before she left the room and went into the kitchen.
When he was alone again, he went back to thinking. There had to be something he, or they, could do to make Morty learn her lesson, but wasn't too harsh at the same time. As she worked on getting her tea started, he mulled this over.

She got the water boiling and grabbed one of the portable coffee mugs. After steeping her tea and adding what she wanted in it, she screwed on the top and headed out of the door that was attached to the kitchen to take a walk outside. It was warm for that late evening, the sound of crickets replacing the usual bird call that was common during the day. As she sipped at her own drink, she did her best not to become angry, even though that was a losing battle.

Gojyo's ears flicked, first, when he heard the kettle whistling, then when he heard the back door open and then close. Must have meant that she finally decided to take a walk. He hoped that she was able to think things over and calm herself down.
Getting up himself, he walked down the hall and into a bathroom. There, he ran the faucet and splashed some water on his face. It didn't quell his anger, but it did calm him down slightly as he let out a sigh and turned off the faucet. Turning to dry his face and hands in a towel, he inwardly hoped that Morty didn't come home tonight, knowing full well that they would explode on her.

 Slowly, the front door silently was pushed open and a head carefully peeked in when it was open far enough. Red eyes scanned the area for any sign of the parentals. Not seeing them, Morticia smiled and carefully pushed the door open more so she could walk in. It was as she was stepping into the door way that her foot caught the small step and she stumbled in. Luckily, she was able to catch herself before she could fall and make a big commotion. Going to close the door, she teetered drunkenly off to one side, bumping hard into a small table by the door that held a small lamp, rocking it. The lamp that was sitting on it wobbled a bit, before tilting over and falling off the table. Seeing it fall and not having the reaction time to try to catch it, she winced when it hit the floor and shattered with a loud crash. 'Crap!' Was what she thought as she closed the door, still looking to the pieces of the lap on the floor.

Morgy was out walking for a while, needing the night air to cool her head and thoughts. But this time, there was no real cooling of her anger, just pushing it down for a bit until she either let it go or it exploded. Her tea was done, so she was holding an empty cup as she opened up the back door and stepped inside. She was just closing and locking it when the sound of something breaking made her jump. Blinking, she quickly rushed to where the noise came from and stopped. A flat, almost disapproving look was immediately on her face as she spotted her daughter.

After finishing splashing his face, Gojyo had walked out of the bathroom to go to his room to change. Instead the sound of something shattering caught his attention and he quickly made his way to the living room to check out what it was. He saw the broken lamp, but that wasn't the cause of the upset look on his face returning. It was the sight of his obviously drunk daughter. It seems that he wasn't the only one to realize that she was home as Morgy entered the living room as well.
After she had closed the door, she wobbled over to where the broken pieces were and haphazardly tried to pick them up. Her head was spinning too much to really do any good that she was trying to do though. Despite this, the only reason she stopped, was that she felt like she was being watched. Slowly, she turned around and saw both of her parents enter the room, almost right at the same time. She was hoping to only deal with one of them, but not both of them and especially not while she was tipsy. Slowly, she stood up and faced the two of them, waiting for one of them to start scolding her first.

Morgy wanted to yell and scream at her, demand an explanation, just vent all her anger and frustration. But instead she took a deep breath and turned her back on Morticia, "You're still quite drunk and it's late. Go to bed, we will talk in the morning." she said, no affection or concern in her voice, just a slight, cold edge. She wasn't going to give Morty what she wanted right now, she was too disappointed to do that. And with that she walked off to her and Gojyos bedroom.

Knowing how upset Morgy was with their daughter, Gojyo was surprised that she didn't snap at the inebriated female. At the same time, he was rather proud of her as well as he watched her head to their bedroom. Once she was out of sight, he looked to Morty, eyes narrowing. It was hard not to look at her and think of what the two of them did after he left... besides had more drinks. He shuddered a bit before pushing the thought out of his head.
Walking to her, he nudged her toward the hall. "You heard your mother. If you're going to listen to at least one thing we say, at least go to bed." He said, bending over to clean up the lamp she busted.
Morty just waited for the lecture, the scolding, the parental advice, as she stood in front of her parents... but it never came. She blinked when her mother just told her to go to bed before leaving. She then looked to her father. Surely he had something to say. Instead, she was lightly pushed to the hall and also told to go to bed. She was thrown for a loop. Was she off the hook? Judging by both of their faces, that wasn't the case. Then... what was the deal? She bit her bottom lip worriedly, wondering how and when the scolding will come, as she wobbled her way to her room.

The female Angelic couldn't fall asleep right away, not until Gojyo finally came to bed and then she went into a deep sleep. She was glad she didn't yell and scream, she would have had bad dreams and not much sleep, but she did plan to talk to her daughter in the morning time when she wasn't drunk.
And morning dawned bright and early, Morgy up first so she could get breakfast ready for the family, an apron tied around her waist. She hummed softly to herself as she moved around the kitchen.

Gojyo joined Morgy in the bed an hour later after he finished cleaning up the lamp and turning out the lights. It took him some time, but he did eventually pass out for the night.
In the morning, he passed up on breakfast for the time being and left the house to buy a new lamp to replace the broken one.
After going to bed, Morty woke up with a splitting headache. She groaned softly, but generally stayed in bed for quite some time. The little mute knew she wasn't out of the fire and really didn't want to deal with her parents. So, she laid in bed, pretending to be asleep as she heard the hustle and bustle of the breakfast routine going on out in the house, with the exception of the playful flirting that usually came from her father, so she guessed that he had left the house. Well, at least that was one less person to scold her.
Eventually, the smell of breakfast caused her stomach to betray her as it grumbled at her. With another groan, she tossed her covers off with a huff as she got out of bed and walked out of her room.

She smiled softly at the few of her and Gojyo's kids that lived at home with them, though she did wish Akira visited more often with the grandkids. She made sure there was enough for Gojyo, for whenever he got back home, and for Morty, whenever she decided to come out of her room. Finally fixing her own plate, she went and sat in the living room to watch some tv, the house now quiet.

Walking down the hall, she waved 'hi' to her younger siblings when they passed by after finishing their breakfast. There still didn't seem to be any sign of her dad, so she guessed he did actually leave somewhere. It didn't matter at the moment as she walked into the kitchen to get her plate of food. When she saw her mother, she paused for a moment, ears flattening some against her head. Regaining her composure, though head still hurting, she walked to the table as if nothing happened at all and it was just a regular day.
