"Oh, strawberry. Okay." Megrez laughed nervously to herself to break up the tension. "Thank god for those magical dry-cleaning space elves, right? If it weren't for them, I'd probably still have month-old blood on my gloves." It would make finding the killers among us that much easier, she thought to herself. Gingerly, she plucked a piece of cupcake from the bottom and popped it into her mouth. "Mm, this is pretty good! Where'd you get this cupcake from? Maybe I should pay them a visit and get some cupcakes of my own." She then took a piece from the top and found that the frosting was just a good. Megiddo got thumbs up for this one, that's for sure.

"There's a certain senshi I know who already pretty much fights naked. Have you met a senshi named Penthesilea? I think you'd like her. One of the first things she did was kill a lieutenant in front of me. Anyway, her bodice is basically a strapless bra. No, not even. Just a metal band and two wing-things covering her boobs. Least she has a skirt and a cape and some cool leggings, though." Megrez, of course, was unaware of Pen and Meggido's relationship. The day she had met Pen was something of a bittersweet memory; she had been unnerved by Pen's quickness to kill and how determined she was to carry it out, but damned if it didn't set the tone for things to come: namely, her own kill. Which she had yet to tell Pen about. She made a mental note to do that sometime.

Meggido's closing question made Megrez crack a thin smile. "Yeah, I'm okay, I guess. Mostly okay. More okay than I was before. You certainly helped with that." She pulled another piece of cupcake off the bottom and popped it into her mouth. Was she okay? Would she ever be okay again? At this point, she mentally replied to that with a who knows? and decided to just go with the flow. Sure, she still felt troubled every now and then, but she was getting better. Sort of.

Megrez's eyes went super-wide, mostly out of surprise. Megiddo was nothing if not very, very frank. "You what? Whaaaaaaat?" She was totally goggling. She... did not expect that. At all. Then Megiddo explained that she and Pen were an item, and she was a little relieved. Her cheeks were still bright pink, however. "O-oh, I see! You two sound like a great pair already. Making out and beating dudes up... sounds like you're having a good time." Megrez wasn't really into girls... maybe, but a happy couple was a happy couple, even if what made them happy was unconventional, to say the least. The "maybe" came from the fact that she certainly was having a lot of girlcrushes recently. Darned powerful, experienced, awesome senshi and knights! "Oh, that reminds me! Next time you see Pen... can you tell her about what happened? I mean, that I made my first kill a few days after I first met her."

"Sounds good," Megrez said in reply to Megiddo's getting up, closing the box around her cupcake and standing up in turn. "I'd definitely be up for that. I'm generally available at any time that's not school hours, but I'm out later on the weekend than the week. Just drop me a line and I'll meet you. Oh, wait, but how would I text you back? Just like a normal senshi text?"

"No, wait! I don't want her to kill me next time she sees me. I think I have her in my phone, actually... I'll send her a text in a bit." On second thought, Megrez telling Pen about what happened herself seemed more convenient (and less dangerous... unless Megiddo blabbed Megrez's thoughts on her fuku anyway). Besides, she barely knew any Knights other than Megiddo (if she knew any at all), so hunting one down would be a bit tricky. When Megiddo waggled her fingers, Megrez did the same back. "Yep. See you around!" With a slight bounce to her step, she started to walk back home.
