"Truly there is a chance that he will not come at all and in that case you'd get to meet my little family." She said the word family differently, with an odd tinge to her voice. Not a one of them was related, but still family not always in the blood. She smiled knowingly thinking Miela would run the other direction when she met them. Some of them were flirts, others were shy, and still others were bold thieves apt to take everything of value from you. "I hope I am not making you uncomfortable in asking this of you. I truly don't think he will attack at all, but maybe in visiting my little herd you can make some more friends." She cocked her head invitingly, and stated, "They aren't far off, just a league or two that way." She aimed her wing in a westward position. Her family had moved and now resided at the edge of a redwood forest. It was a more defensible position that near the lake's edge.
DarkenWoodWolf Leilani is a little domineering at times. She is trying to help in her own way since she sees Miela as a bit lonely. So more friends are needed. Lol.

"If there is a chance that he will not come, then there is still a chance that he will come. And if none of you would be able to protect the little ones, I would like to chance to help." She smiles, eyes going a bit sad at the mention of family. "I would love to meet your family, and have the chance to make some friends."
Miela looked westward and nodded. "I'm glad they aren't far. Shall we go, then?" She took a step forward, eager to be among others, and mostly happy to be able to help, if she could. Then there was the possibility of being among foals again, which was a delight. Since hers was all grown up, she'd missed having a filly around. Of course, then there was Leilani. "Would it be presumptuous of me to consider you a friend? I would very much like to call you so."

Leilani was all at once relieved that Miela had decided to come along. Though the look in her eyes cause Leilani to pause before answering. She seemed sad, "If he does come the foals will have the best defense we can give them, and if he doesn't well I bet the foals will absolutely love meeting you. You are such a kind person for being willing to help a stranger." Her smile grew wider when Miela asked if they were friends, "It would not be presumptuous at all Miela. I would be honored to call you friend." She turned and walked toward the forest that was easily seen from their current position. "But I must be fair and warn you that our herd leader is well... A clutz. He may fall down a lot when you meet him." Leilani shook her head and nickered knowingly at how badly Senshi's sense of balance was.

Miela grinned at the thought of a herd, even a small one, standing up to protect their foals. It was heart warming to think that they would do everything they could to protect the little ones. Even without her help, she figured the Kalona would have a hard time spiriting away the foals. "Foals absolutely love meeting everybody, especially if it is someone like me, where they've never seen the like!" She flared her large wings open and laughed. This was going to be nice, to be around young again. "Thank you for saying so."
Following her toward the woods, Miela smiled. "You are the first friend I have made in a long time, Leilani. I am very happy for this." Turning to look at her again, she could help but laugh along side her. "A clutz, huh? Well, it will be interesting, to say the least!"
