Sherry took in the information, nodding from time to time. So far, pretty basic information, nothing too difficult. The comments about being prepared received an especially enthusiastic nod. That was very important, she knew...just like gathering information was. Hrm. It seemed this training would be more than she thought, at first. Not that she had given too much thought about what to expect.

She was there to learn, so she gathered up her headset rather enthusiastically.

A smile was flashed in Jake's direction during team announcements. And then she looked around curiously. Sherry didn't know Hanna. By process of elimination she reasoned Hanna was the quiet girl she didn't recognize.

Assignments given, it was time to get to work. First thing first: "Team 2!" She called, raising her hand in the air. Not excessively loud, it wasn't like there were tons of people around. Though she had her suspicions about who Hanna was, Sherry didn't want to just run over and assume things. "Team 2, right here!"

Zascha made a mental note about breakfast. Flashing a grin as Dakota, he nodded. "Same."

All cupcakes and food thoughts aside it was time to get down to business. To focus on their real objective here, training. Zascha was in need of it for sure. Being a greenhorn and all.

He eyeballed the supplies on the table before taking a headset and putting it on. At least it wasn't as complicated as his phone seemed to be. He and technology never did mix well. Turning towards his team mates, he recognized Marcus from when he'd woken up from the pod. Roland he was unfamiliar with but that would soon be fixed he was sure. "Shall we go then?"

To the corn fields for them it seemed.

Cupcakes or not, Dakota got into srs business mode and doled out the teams. She had done the Life course, not Moon though. It was on her to-do list, more so now. The headsets were familiar to her, and she flashed back to the strange conversations she had been able to eavesdrop on in the Corridor of Ancients thanks to them. She picked hers up and was about to ask who "Jake" and "Sherry" were when a girl began calling out her team number just a few feet away. This sounded like a competition, a fun one at that, and so Hanna stifled an excited smile as she moved toward her appointed group members.

"Hi, I'm Hanna," she said. "I assume you're Sherry? Though Jake would probably be a trendy new girl name." A pause. "...are you Jake?"

But then a boy walked up, and she shook her head. "Ah, never mind, in any case, -- hi," this time she was speaking to Jake, "I'm Hanna. So -- off to the towns?" Hanna leaned in conspiratorially. "I'm sure there is no prize, but winning would be excellent." She slid her eyes over to the other groups, contemplating making a swift and subtle exit.
