Shun was pretty quiet as they followed the two to the actual apartment. He didn't mind that the place itself seemed to be tucked away in a corner. And once they were within, it didn't look too bad either. The reaper just quietly took in the surroundings while the young man gave them some information on the layout of the place.
The balcony... was actually something he liked. Unlike Mitsu, he enjoyed high places. But it was still something to keep in mind.
"Not bad," he commented before turning towards the left hallway to check out the bedrooms.
Opening one of the doors, he poked his head inside, then opened it up further to let Mitsu in as well.

When Shun opened the door Mitsu waited before he opened it up enough to let her step inside. The room was a decent size with a closet on one side and a door on the other that led to a bathroom.
"I like it." Curiously Mitsu stepped over to the closet to open it up to see just how big it was. "How much is the rent?"
"Oh, its a fair price." He stated a number that was exceptionally low but Mitsu didn't think much of it until she opened the closet to stare back into the face of a withered looking ghost. It was a woman, or at least Mitsu was guessing it was. It was hard to tell with her features being so sunken in but her hair was somewhat long and all over the place. Her wide eyes settled on Mitsu the moment the dim orange light hit her face and she let out a wail.
Without missing a beat Mitsu closed the closet back on the ghost without a word, staring at the door like she was trying to let the moment sink in.

This place was turning out to be pretty nice for certain. Though, Shun did find it somewhat suspicious when he heard how cheap it was.
"That is a pretty low price," he remarked while raising his brow. He quickly turned as he heard a wail, however. He didn't see what the source was but he did see Mitsu shutting a closet door with haste.
"...What the hell was that?"

"That's uh...Mrs. Dubois." The young man explained. "She's quiet as long as you keep the closet closed and like I said plenty of closets...so you don't have to exactly use that one." He gave a somewhat nervous smile but apparently this was something he had to tell to people often. Or at least often enough that he tried to find an upside to the deal.
"W...why is there a ghost in the closet?" Mitsu asked still staring at the closet door.
"Well..."
"She was evicted." The elder witch stated, walking toward the closet to give it a short soft pound with her fist. "The old hag didn't want to leave and took up residence in the closet. Been trying to get her out of here for the last fifteen years. Even remodeled but that didn't drive her away."
Finally turning away from the closet Mitsu gave Shun a very unsure look. Sure the price was nice and the apartment was really great over all but having an unwanted ghost just living in one of the closet wasn't exactly what she was expecting with their first place.

Oh. So. That's what happened. Shun looked less amused than usual as he heard this story.
"..."
He was silent for a time, but then started for the door.
"Thank you for showing us. We'll be on our way."
This reaper was a very private one. He did not wish for a 'bonus roommate'.

"If you would like to fill out an application just let us know," The young man smiled and waved before moving over to the elder witch how had taken up muttering at the door and the ghost behind it.
Mitsu hoped this wasn't going to continue to be a trend and shuffled her way behind Shun as they made their way out. "Well, that was....something."
It was a shame the apartment had been rather nice over all. "Do you want to grab something quick to eat on the way to the next one?" Mitsu reached into her bag and pulled out two pieces of paper. The one was for Whispering Hollow which she crumpled slightly and tossed back inside her bag and the other was for Raven's View.

Shun shook his head to himself as he made his way out. That one was pretty low on the list of options for him. The price was excellent and the over all apartment was pretty nice. The ghost in the closet was... something he did not want to have to deal with.
"A sound plan," he nodded before pausing to look around. Raven's view was a little further away, so there shouldn't be much issue in finding a place to eat while they traversed in that direction.
"Hopefully the next one has... fewer surprises," he murmured as he began to walk.
"Is there something in particular you have in mind for food?"

"Fewer surprises would be nice. I didn't think apartment hunting would be so hard." Mitsu looked over the paper with the info for Raven's View. She had put off looking at these apartments for a while and it wasn't because they weren't nice. In fact, from the detailed information everything sounded amazing. The draw back for her, however, was most of the apartments available were lofts several floors up in a rather tall building. If she wasn't so afraid of heights the view that she could see in the pictures would be nice....but she was afraid of heights.
Really afraid of heights.
But at this point she was willing to get adjusted to it. Besides with Shun there it wouldn't be so bad.
"I didn't have anything in mind no. It can just be something we can eat on the way. Maybe a sandwich?"

"A sandwich should do just fine," Shun agreed. As with Mitsu, he hadn't really expected this task to be this difficult. But they couldn't just go with the first place they looked at and call it a day. Whatever they picked, it was going to be their home for some time.
The Reaper walked on down the street to head towards Raven's View. Judging the name, he figured it might be up on a high point. Mitsu... might not like that too much. He enjoyed vantage points but he was well aware of her acrophobia. Maybe it'll be suitable, still, however.
"Is that a sandwich shop up ahead?" he asked motioning to one place a few blocks down. The sign read 'Rotbelly Sandwich Works' and had an image of some sort of sub sandwich in the logo.

Focusing up ahead to where Shun gestured it looked to be just what they were looking for. "Looks like it." Mitsu said with a nod.
As they continued on their route toward food Mitsu continued to look over the info for Raven's View. The prices looked like they might range a little higher but it wasn't outside anything manageable. "I hope there's nothing strange about this one. You'll probably like it....as long as there isn't someone living in the closet...or in the walls...or under the floor." Mitsu sighed a bit realizing now that those ridiculous ideas weren't far outside the realm of possibility.

Nodding, Shun set his sights on that sandwich shop, then tilted his head at the woman besides him.
"Hm? What's it say? And I sure hope there aren't random other people living in what should be our place," he said lowly. It was a little ridiculous really, thinking about the last place. With a shake of his head, he paused once they had reached 'Rotbelly' and opened it up to let Mitsu in first.
The smell of various meats and whatnot wafted out from the open door. It looked like there were a fair number of customers inside currently as well.

"This one says a lot of the appliances are new, great views of town and lots of space even for the one and two bedroom lofts. The reviews are also good so here's hoping." As Shun opened the door for her to walk in she held up the paper for him to take so that he could look over the pictures that were available. It was a very open floor plan and the bedrooms were on a second level inside the loft.
Once inside though Mitsu's mind focused on what was currently important. Food. Her pupils grew large as she looked to the counter, the smell of meat hitting her nose in waves. There were just so many people in her way.

"That does sound promising. We'll have to see for certain once we get there," Shun nodded, then went on and got in line. There unfortunately weren't any pictures of the sandwiches. Just a lot of text up on a chalkboard over the counter.
He blinked up at the options, then leaned over towards Mitsu.
"..What do they have?"

At Shun's question Mitsu looked to the menu and realized there were too many options to really list. "There are a lot of sandwiches." This meant he would have to narrow it down. "Maybe tell me what kind of meat you want and I can narrow it down from there." It was the most important part anyway. And then she would only have to list a few options instead of the whole menu.

Shun considered this for a moment, then nodded. That should work out alright.
"Anything with salami or death forest ham?" he asked. He really wasn't too picky, though. Most likely, he'd eat any of the options on the menu. It smelled good here in the very least.
