When their food arrived, Lucianna was pleased to see that the two choices were very different. One was a classic take on noodles and seafood, while the other was a purely vegetarian dish. She smiled, motioning the both plates as she spoke, "Try some of both." Her tone was hopeful, she clearly wished that he'd like one of the dishes. If not than she supposed they could order something else, although Lucy knew their budget was already tight; Between clothes and this meal, she knew that they'll barely have enough for a place to sleep that night. It's all part of the adventure, though... Her thoughts were still so light and carefree, she wanted nothing more than to be able to spend everyday in a new place.
Picking up her own utensil, Lucy took a bite from the noodle dish, her expression brightening as she realized how well prepared the dish was. The whole trip seemed worth it just for the food, at least in her opinion. "So," She started, leaning back slightly in her seat as she allowed the conversation to drift on. "What do you think of Taiwan so far, Prince Elendil?"

Elendil thought for a moment of which he was going to try first. He ended up trying the seafood since he was sure the vegetarian one was what he was going to pick. Sure enough it ended up that way and the elf prince pulled the plate closer to him. "Taiwan is okay I suppose. I must be a homebody." He answered. "At least the food is good."

Lucy smiled, appreciating his honesty. "Food is always the best way to adapt to a new place." At least, it was that way for her. The princess had always loved trying new dishes; she saw it as a way to prepare for all the traveling she aspired to do. "I hear that you home is quite beautiful, so I can understand why you'd be miss it." She wondered if all elves acted like Elendil, or if there were any at all that saw the world as she did. It was a bit strange to admit to even herself, but Lucianna wanted to understand the prince across from her. He offered a fresh point of view, and she hoped that he would try to understand her's as well. "But the Woods will always be your home," she continued on, motioning with the fork in her hands as she spoke brightly. "This place is one of the near infinite locations that will never be your home. All of your lessons and duties will always be waiting for you, at your home. But out here, and out in thousands of other places, you can study new things; you can paint pictures of buildings and people and plants that you'll never find at home." Lucy continued to eat her food, her gaze looking out a window just long enough for her to see the last of the sun slip below the horizon. It was officially evening now, making her wonder how clear the sky would be at night. Perhaps she could attempt a sketch of the stars, should Elendil work on a project himself.

A thought came to the prince's mind. "Think of what you remember of your childhood with your father. He probably was busy often and you probably had your mother doing most of the thing pertaining to raising you. When your father was free he probably spent it with you and your mother. When I become king, I will have a similar life to that of your father. Your sister knows that when your father dies that she will have that life too. The only difference is that your sister wishes to spend her time now so her children can have her now and not just during the free times. When I marry, I plan on the same with my wife."

Lucy listened to Elendil speak, doing as he instructed when he told her to remember her upbringing. Her father had always been a workaholic, and she had long ago accepted the fact. Elendil was right, though, in that he had spent every moment of his free time with his family. The memories brought a smile to her face. However, her primary emotion at that moment was respect for her peer, as Elendil spoke of how he hoped to run his household. "That's all I–err, I mean that's all your future wife could ask of you." Despite the distinct feeling of heat washing over Lucy's face in the form of a blush, she did her best to keep the conversation going on track. Hopefully Elendil was still as oblivious as ever, and had overlooked her froydian slip. "Have you been looking much for a wife?" she questioned, before realizing that she might appear too intrusive. Allowing for a small sigh, she took a large bite of her food, choosing to keep her mouth shut before she did any more damage.

Elendil smiled. "I'll have a long life and plenty of time to marry. I plan on letting happen naturally until the time comes where I should truly find one. I'm not like Lillie who got married out of high school. I also don't have to worry producing a heir right away since my nephew, Telek, will be in line after my sister." He grinned. "I can't believe how grown up he is. 16 and already a lady killer. I want the boy, who's diaper I helped changed, back." The 27 year old man was very fond of his nieces and nephews. "Lillie has a little girl and is pregnant again. I'm excited to see what she has."

Luciana continued to eat as she listend to Elendil, her smile growing fonder as she realized jus how proud this elf was of his family. It seemed amazing that there could be so much competition over who became heir, but Elendil spoke as if they never worried over such a thing. It was such a refreshing take from her own upbringing. "Mhm, I'm going to guess boy. Let me know if i'm right." She laughed softly, the sound similair to a wind chime. Of course, she knew that it was a true 50/50 chance, which led her to add, "Then you can change those diapers as well." It was clear that Lucy was enjoying their conversation, and before long she found that she had managed to finish off most of her plate. Giving Elendil some time to finish up, she paid for their meal before mentioning, "Your family sounds very sweet."

Elendil chuckled as she guess his sister would have a boy. "What about your own sister? What If I said it's a boy?' He teased her a little as return jest to her. "You'll have your own diapers to change soon as well." He added with a chuckle before looking at the woman. "My family loves life and each child given to use is precious. They each get their own special name and place in our family. When I have kids I hope they understand that too." He told the woman with a grin.

Leaning back in her seat, Lucianna chuckled. It's true that her sister may very well have a boy, but the odds were less than fair within their family. "If she has a boy, that would be...surprising. Males are very rare within the Solindos. Ancient curse and all that." She spoke so lightly, as if she only half believed that this was the truth. "Still, diapers are diapers." she added with a laugh, knowing that she would never object to helping out her sister. Still smiling, she leaned toward the table at Elendil's remark. His family was serious about many things, but Lucy appreciated thier veiw on children; they were never to be undervalued. "They will understand. You'll teach them." She placed a hand on top of his, radiating her bright atitude.

Elendil looked ahead. It was clear that he was in thought of something. "What if your sister isn't under a curse or the curse? She'd not really a member of the same family. In truth her legal last name was Kent and now it's Valdez. On top of that she is considered a b*****d in all rights and so even then she isn't a true member of your family. Would the curse touch someone like that?" He questioned. It was a lot to think about. If that was turn of Yvette, then she could well be pregnant with a boy and would have broken the curse. "In all honesty it's more a question that a great wizard could answer, like Len. The Vega's are fools to be after his head. I would use him and his mind. No one is calling him a fraud for his works, but they do call him a dark wizard." Elendil pointed out to the girl as he wanted her thoughts on the matter. ((Just to FYI, it has been long enough for her to have the babies."

Lucy considered his question for a long time, her own gaze looking beyond him. "I'm not so sure. I believe this curse is based in blood...I suppose only time will tell us." She bit her lip, well aware that there was so much more to the family curse than that. Every generation, one of the Solindos died, each tragedy exactly twenty years apart. Nineteen years ago, Lucy's cousin had died while fighting in an attack upon her school. Most sirens in the kingdom found the curse to be a superstitiion, including the current king, her father. But Lucianna didn't believe in coincidences. She was afraid of the upcoming anniversary of her cousin's death; afraid for herself, Yvette, Nathan, and the child on the way.
Breaking out of such gloomy worries, she refocused on Elendil. It was so nice to hear his voice, she thought absently as she responded to him. "Len? I honestly know so little about the man. Nobody talks about him at home, and I've only just recently seen Abbadon again. Still, I think I would agree with you. The history books say he's brilliant and I don't believe anyone is purely evil. There must be a reason for his actions." She gave a small shrug, her thoughts swirling again.
Looking down, she moved her hand from atop his, collecting the backpack as she stood. "We should get a room for some sleep. By the afternoon, our twenty-four hour vacation will be up." Once he stood, she paid for their meals, then led the way outside. Where they had eaten was on the edge of the city, so far out that one could see every star in the clear night sky. It was so alluring that Lucy took Elendil's hand distractingly, her tone revealing her clear love of the sky and what may lay beyond it. "Let's go." she said, a smile on her face as they crossed to street to a very small, local hotel. It almost seemed like a shame, to be indoors that night; but the temperature was dropping drastically and they had no supplies for a camp out.
{ooc: Oh man how time flies. I'm so sorry I've been away D: We can wrap up here soon and get to the birth of the new little prince or princess! And yay for the reveal of the curse! it's almost time for Lucy's ridiculous Solindo flirt tactics~}

((Forgiven. BTW I started a Monster High (the webseries) RP guild)) Elendil smiled. He was happy someone agreed that Len wasn't pure evil. "I don't think he's evil too. He is the father of my sister. She only talks of the loving moments with him and It makes me happy to she her smile again." the elf responded. He firmly grasped the woman's hands.

Lucy smiled s Elendil spoke, imagining his sister as a young girl, raised by the famous Len Richardson. It was common knowledge, but somehow the siren had never truly thought about it. The fact that the prince's happiness was sourced in someone else's seemed to be a recurring theme, a fact that made her intatuation grow even further. She looked down to their joint hands, feeling as his fingers interlaced firmly with her's. It was the first time he had consiously reacted to her touch. If it had been anyone else, Lucianna wouldn't have noticed; but he was an elf, and so she took any gesture a bit more seriously. Still, it only made her want to pursue him further.
After speaking to a woman at the reception desk, they were given a room and key and instructed as to their checkout time. Smiling faintly, Lucy led the way to their room number, please when she avoided getting them lost. Once inside, she dropped her backpack beside the door with a small thunk. Slipping off her shoes, she took a deep breath before crossing the room to jump onto on of the twin beds. It was surprisingly soft, making her grin as she looked up to Elendil. "Comfortable...good enough for royalty." As she finished speaking, she let loose a short laugh, finding it ironic that she would ever prefer a night spent in this place to her palace bedroom. "Are you still willing to draw something for me?" she asked after a moment, her expression hopeful. While it had been dark outside for a few hours, Lucy was used to staying up late. Plus, she didn't want to waste time sleeping more than necessary on this vacation.

Elendil smiled and nodded. He did promise her. The elf drew out from his pack the drawing pad that he was so fond of. He also pulled out his drawing pencils and quickly found blank page. With no second thought, the man lifted his pencil and started to draw. He took his time and would look up here and there. Once the pencil was done with he pulled out some charcoal and continued. It didn't take longer for the prince to finish and he put his drawing tools away. "For you." He told the princess across from him handing her the image. It was a head shot of Lucy. Elendil had done a wonderful job and the girl's eyes in image so someone of wonder in her eyes. The lips were so beautiful it was like that someone would one day go up to the picture and kiss it. He had put her hair up and left carefully placed bangs down. "I wanted to show you the beauty I saw at the wedding." ((The episodes are short like Hetalia RP wise it's similar to Reeds so if you wanted to jump in it wouldn't be too hard. I can always help too. I have a of character ideas and maybe one would suit you))

As he gathered his supplies, Lucianna watched with fascination as he began to draw. She sat still, content to watch him for the time being as his own expression adopted one of concentration. Elendil had told her how much he loved art, but seeing him like this, as he created it, was something else entirely. After he had glanced to her a couple of times, she realized that he had to be drawing her, and so she felt a light blush across her face. She had actually been expecting a flower or maybe even the desk in the corner, but he had chosen her as the subject. Lucy found herself smiling over that, and it lasted until he had finished and turned the paper so that she could see.
It was so gorgeous, and she wondered for a moment how a drawing of of her face could make her feel more beautiful than a simple compliment. Noting that her hair had been drawn up, as it was when they met, she smiled. Elendil's statement about what he hoped to show her caused her to look over to him. It was so surprising, as she was never noticed with Yvette in the same room. That was a fact she did not really resent, but she had accepted it long ago. So to here him say that he saw beauty in her made her eyes water. Lucy carefully put the drawing on the small bedside table before she stood. Moving to sit besides Elendil on his bed, she smiled as she told him, "I'm going to hug you." She leaned forward, wrapping her arms around him as she added, "Thank you." Sirens would usually do much more than give a hug over so much gratitude, but Lucy was a diplomat; as such she was doing her best to act by elvish rules, and eveb then a hug was a lot of contact.
