Shiny Charizard in Pokemon Fire Red. I remember getting into the first battle in Oak's lab and nearly having a heart attack when I realized my Charmander was shiny! cat_xd

Haha, I happen to have a shiny Charizard, but that was a gift (: Do you still use it in X/Y?

LoChi Syor My first shiny came during Pearl/Diamond/Platinum. I was like...12 and I met a kid who played Pokemon as well. He had skipped a few generations and it ended with him trading a shiny Charmeleon for my Gallade x3 I honestly wasn't trying to cheat him out of it. I was more excited for the Latias he had >.> Almost all of my shinys came from other people, with only a couple that I have actually caught myself >.> Lol well, did you end up telling him that it was a shiny or have you taught him about shiny Pokémon? Honestly at first I thought it was funny that you accepted the trade, but then I thought about it being his own fault for not realizing, I'm sure they have a special mark like the star in X/Y. I was given a shiny, also caught the shiny gyarados from Pokémon Red back in 96....lol so technically I've had 2 all my span of Pokémon nerd lifestyle.

Should be a simple fix of changing the batteries. Just need to find an appropriate battery pack.

It also helps for time-based events in R/S/E
