After wandering deeper into the forest and managing only to get herself lost, the brunette heaved a sigh of frustration and pulled out her cards. With that stack neatly piled in her left palm, she waved her right hand over them, and lifted her palm to fan it out before her. The cards obediently followed her palms motioning, spreading out neatly in the air so she could get a better glimpse of them. Zara's index finger drifted along the five cards, wishing now that she had more to consult. So much energy was going to be wasted due to her limited deck,
'Tomorrow I'll go to town and see if I can find any that I may purchase.' The deeper in the forest Zara had wandered, the darker it had gotten as the foliage blocked out the sun.
”I'll have to summon two...” She muttered to herself, knowing she'd be entirely exhausted from having two cards on the field at once.
Tapping the second card, Zara murmured the words required of her to say firmly to capture the fire elemental's attention on the other side,
”Blaise, assist me now.” The next one she called to she spoke more in exasperation than sternly.
”Po, I need your help,” The female called, sounding more like a lost child begging their parent to help them with their homework than a card mistress commanding her cards. Obediently both cards brightened and in a flash of light both were summoned in front of her. With another wave of her palm, the five cards returned in a neat pile on her left palm where she promptly tucked them back in her satchel.
”Blaise, it's dark out here so... Just keep doing what you're doing,” She ordered, not really needing her fire elemental to do much considering he was already made of fire. His simple presence was enough to engulf the darkened area in the overwhelming glow of his body. To the water sprite, she smiled apologetically.
”Sorry about Faylin scaring you earlier Po, but I'm a little lost now... Where are the dorms?” She requested waiting patiently as Po examined the immediate area to map out in her mind their location. While she waited, Zara leaned against a nearby tree, already feeling the effects of having too many cards out. Honestly, she needed to train harder so she could handle something like this, most card masters and mistresses could have up to five on the field for half an hour before feeling the nausea she was experiencing. A few moments later, Po returned with an apologetic smile. “You're not on school grounds anymore Zara. Sorry,” She informed with a shrug of her shoulders, leaving the brunette to release a gutteral groan.
”Dandy...” There was no use whining about it now she supposed, and pushing herself up into a standing position she turned herself around to go back where she came, hoping that she could at least figure
that out.
