This was a Moment. Capital M because if anyone had thought that Cami had forgotten the several talks and moments she'd had where Miss Bertrand had made it clear that she thought Cami and Otto put each others' needs before anyone else's except perhaps their own (and even their own at times), they were mistaken. Her back had arced slightly so that there was more to play with, more to appreciate, more to get lost in even as fingers kept busy skimming and playing through beautiful blonde hair.
Inside the Tower of the Ancients, however, there had been a shift in the equilibrium. Cami was officially in the midst of a balancing act where the needs of one could easily outweigh the needs of another. Otto could need someone to cuddle at night, and he did, but this was more than that. This was not Maebe not wanting to be alone. This was so much more. It was a no-brainer.
"He'll be alright. I told him I was coming down before I left so he won't have to worry about me and he has a dozen or twelve pillows for company. You, on the other hand..." Her other hand was moving to slide up against lovely curves, lingering and reveling in them. Her words trailed off as Cami did nothing but smile knowingly.
If she'd known the honor she was receiving the crying would have happened. It was perhaps fortunate that, at this very moment, she did not know. "I'll gladly stay in your bed, Maebe baby."
